Sandopolis Act 2
|
Eventually the fox and his delivery man left the factory, in the same truck. The sky was getting darker, so it was assumed they went home. The traffic was less busy too, so The harrier and tiger walked over to the building, where they assumed the merchant, was getting his bottled water from. Rocky and Akashi arrived at the main gate, into the factory car park. It was looked, and to high to jump over. The gate was made of steel and the wall surrounded the building was made of concrete. “So this is were they get the spring water from?” The tiger said as he observed the wall and the gate. He was wondering how they could get inside the factory. Rocky looked around the street, for anything they could use to get over the wall. He found a wooden barrel in one of the nearby alley’s. The harrier quickly ran over to the barrel, and dropped it on it’s side. He rolled it back to the wall, and stood it back up. The dog then climbed up on the barrel, but the wall was still to high. Although he could get the tiger over. “Akashi I cannot reach to top. But I think I can help you over.” The canine locked his fingers together, with the palms of his hands facing upwards. The tiger held the surface of the wall and stepped up on the barrel. He then put his foot the palms of The harrier’s hands, while still keeping his hand on the wall. Rocky moved his arms up, helping the feline to the top of the wall. Akashi climbed over and dropped to the over side, hurting his legs a little from the landing. Rocky got down from the barrel and walked over to the entrance. He saw there was a key hole in the left side of the gate. “Akashi! See if you can find a key to open the gate. Or find something so I can get in.” Akashi looked around the car park for anything, what could get the harrier inside. But there was nothing appart from trucks similar to the one, the merchant and the gorilla was in. The tiger found a security office next to the gate. He walked over and looked inside. The feline found an extra key for the gate. He grabbed it, and rushed over to the entrance to open unlock it. The cat opened the gate to let Rocky in. The harrier entered the car park. He gazed ahead at the factory and noticed the trucks the same as the gorilla’s. It seemed very likely they were getting the bottled water from here. Even though the primate told him he got it somewhere else. The dog came to the door of the building, but it was locked. And did not want to break it open, in case an alarm went off. “Looks like we are not getting in. It‘s locked” The dog turned away from the door. Rocky could hear the flow of water and sound of machinery operating in the factory. He followed were the sound was coming from. The dog found an open vent. And waved his hand at Akashi, gesturing him to walk over. The tiger walked over and saw the vent. And heard the sound of machines coming from it. “So you found a way in?” Akashi looked in the vent and his widened. “Okay.” He said with a slight nervous tone in his voice. “You can go through and unlock the door to the factory. I will wait out here.” The feline stepped away from the vent. Rocky looked at the vent and noticed he might have a bit of trouble. He then looked at Akashi. “Why cannot you go? You can easily crawl through.” Akashi shook his head. “No, no, no… I climbed over the wall and opened the gate, so you can open the door to the factory. Besides I do not think I can get through.” Rocky looked at the tiger, with a puzzled look. “But I am bigger and taller than you. You could easily…” The dog then paused and shrugged his shoulders. “Fine I will go through and open the door… I do not know what is stopping you though.” The harrier got down on his stomach and went through the vent. Akashi walked back over, and looked in the vent. He could barely see the dog, as the vent was so dark. The tiger shivered and walked to the door of the factory, waiting for Rocky to open it. |

"HELLO ANYONE HERE?" Finally outside, he could've sworn there's another voice nearby. Could be another officer in law, so the safest alternative would involve slinking away, never revealing it's identity. Kaman's methods weren't exactly apprehensive, rather choosing to investigate, as he slowly walked toward the cabin. A car stationed outside... Could be a swift ride away from the nearby vicinity of Carmine. "I'm not the police if that's your worry, in fact, just looking for my way to the city?" He had already counted out the officer bit, with no resemblance of the car's outer skeleton, if it wasn't one of those annoying private detectives. Instead of answering the lost one, sneaking upon the abandoned vehicle. Confirming there's no one to be seen. Casually attempting to unlock, received with a failure, been locked. Quickly confirming a second time, as he had his eyes constantly drawn toward the entrance, before smashing the window, with a fast elbow, the window broke, as did the alarm. Gain access was rather conventional, and unless the other one hadn't been as unfortunate like Kaman, they'd be darting off toward the wheel, with a possible weapon armed, ready to shoot. Quickly realizing the mistake, he didn't pursue on entering the car, instead rendezvous toward the other side, luring out it's owner. Quickly stepping up toward the front, keeping a low profile, barely trying to receive a visual, without drawing to much attention toward his sudden movement. A wolf arriving shortly out, probably thinking someone's attempting to steal his automobile. As expected, wearing a firearm in his hand, all out to use it. Damn! Kaman thought, but perhaps with the loud noise appearing from the alarm, he could sneak into the forest, and hopefully just avert any frontal assault, considering anyone outside the law, a suitable survivor. Someone who'd ought to find their own ways around dealing with substantial idealists wowing to create chaos, upon contact. Remaining low, slowly trotting onward, until he had tree's covered at his back. Perhaps a chance to shoot a moving target, if he's owning an exceptional accuracy. That risk was worth taken, as he rushed into the forest, probably having him self revealed by now. |

There was still nothing, not even the sounds of movment from the depths within his keen wofl ears not picking up anything. Was the person here a figment of his imagination? Possibly, or it could be someone was here but beat him outside. Finns eyes opened wide, if outside then it leaves himself open to any sort of attack. Sighing the wolf turned heading back to the car when the sounds of smashing glass met his ears, pistol already in his grip he raced to the entrance of the building peeking over a window ledge watching the vehicle. Watching the car with the sunlight reflecting off the glass it didn't on the drivers side, no one to be seen it could be a trap, he goes round and gets smacked around for the keys and whoever the theif is goes away with his prize. Was the other guy armed? If he was a fugative from the law then they would need help, maybe? The door open wide to the house Finn dropped to the floor peering slowley outside underneath the wheel, no shadows or person the otherside of the car. Sprinting over jumping in the drivers seat he looked out the through the broken glass at tracks in the dust leading to the trees. Firing off a round into the direct he thought the fugative had gone it was no point but felt good non the less, turning getting back into the drivers seat. Heading off back up the track the wind blowing in his fur, Finn re joined the main road heading towards the main city, going around seemingly the other side of the forest. Slowing there was someone inside making their way to the road, was it the guy who did the damage? He wasn't sure but his hand went to the desert eagle instinctivly anyway encase it was someone else wanting more trouble. Pulling to a halt, he waited patiently, the only guy on the open road. |

The Dragon Whisperer
|
The large pick-up truck trundled on for a good few hours before it spluttered and stuttered into a halt near a long, looming warehouse. The men stepped out, raising their hands to a guard along the top of the roof, sniper rifle lowered, and headed towards the back. Nyath was cloaked fully, and when they shifted to grab Zen's unconscious body, he shifted so they didn't brush against him. He watched in pained silence as they dragged the wolf's body from the back, not caring that his ankles hit the floor hard, and dragged him slowly inside. The little Drake followed, devising a plan for his friend's escape. Later on into the next day, Zen was awoken by light, electrical shocks to his temples. He yelped and gritted his teeth as he blearily opened his eyes. His vision was cloudy, disoriented as he looked left to right. He blinked a few times, getting his bearings. He realised, tiredly, that he was in a dark, dim warehouse. Lights flickered in mocking overhead, the ground cold and hard on his paws. He shifted, and grunted, trying to strain his hands against the rope that was wrapped around his wrists behind the chair. A few people stepped out of the shadows, brandishing knuckle dusters, baseball bats, and the like. "Think you could steal our water, eh?" One of them said with a smirk which transformed into a grin. Zen stared at him, went to speak only to realised his mouth was gagged as well. He huffed in irritation. Why would they ask him a question if he couldn't answer. He attempted to mumble some sort of insult. The man's grin quickly turned into a snarl as he took the back in his hand. He tossed it into the air a bit, it spinning once, before he brung it across. It barely just missed Zen's face as he quickly jerked his head back so as not to get hurt. The man chuckled. "I deliberately did that." He said with his own cruel amusement. Zen glared again at him. All this time, Nyath was sneaking silently along the outside wall, watching the situation with keen, intelligent eyes. He skittered his eyes left and right, searching for an opening. His eyes counted the people. One, Two, Three. Not many. He slumped his belly low to the ground and began to inch forwards. "So, you gonna tell us?" The man grinned at Zen evilly. The wolf shook his head, closing his eyes and bowing his head. "Hmm.. Pity." The man looked down at his bat nonchalantly, before he brung it up over his head, ready to smash it down. In an instant, there was a sharp blow to his stomach, causing him to keel over and dropped his wooden weapon on the floor. It was clearly Nyath, coming in for an attack, but the other two didn't see him, yelping, waving their weapons about. The Dragon brung his head up to but the man in the stomach again before hitting him across the face sharply with his tail. He shifted, picking up the bat with his teeth, and swinging it round. It collided hard with the man's face and he slumped to the ground. The men looked alarmed as they saw the bat floating pleasantly in mid-air. "I-It's alive! Shoot it, Shoot it!" One of them yelped as the other pulled out a gun. Nyath had to think quickly, and zipped round in a spiral, chucking the bat towards the man with added momentum. The bat hit him clean in the face as he was sent tumbling back, unconscious. The final man tried to scrabble towards the firearm to get the creature, but the bat collided down cleanly on his head, knocking him out cold. The warehouse was silent. Zen raised his head and had to smirk. He knew what had happened. He felt the bonds on his hands untie slowly as if something was biting through them before his hands were free. The Green dragon uncloaked to greet with him a happy, loyal grin. The Wolf had to chuckled as he removed the gag. "Good one, Nyath." He said, stroking the Dragon's scales before he stood, serious. "Now let's get out of here. We're in danger." He said. The Dragon nodded in understand, walking obediently alongside him as they headed outside. The truck was left completely empty, of course, as the men were knocked out. Zen didn't care that he stole their vehicle. He gestured Nyath to the passenger seat as he turned on the ignition, finding them left inside. They drove smoothly, heading back to their apartment. It was there that Zen did some frantic packing. He filled his suitcases with clothes and water, and concealed a pistol underneath a secret, undetectable compartment in his suitcase. He turned to Nyath who had seated himself on the sofa, as if expecting Zen to sit too. "No, Nyath. We have to leave. To move out. We aren't safe here." He picked up the two suitcases and dragged them into the living room. Nyath cocked his head, frowning, not wanting to leave. "I'm sorry Nyath. But please, we have to. If they knew we were raiding the warehouse, they'll know where we l-" He stopped as there was a banging on the door. "Yo! Open up you mutt, we know you're in there!" There was more banging. Zen gulped and turned to Nyath, gesturing him to the fire escape. The Dragon nodded, cloaking and heading out there with the Wolf in tow. They clambered down the steps and into the pick-up truck parked out back. The men screamed when they saw them, but Zen had, thankfully, already drove off, leaving them in the dust. "Sorry Nyath." Zen said, feeling bad that they had to move. The Dragon was silent, as he he always was, looking out the window. He hadn't wanted to leave, but he would stick by Zen, no matter what. He owed him that much. "Well..." Zen sighed. "To the airport it is." |

Sandopolis Act 2
|
Rocky came to the end of the vent, and was in the factory. He stood up and wiped some of the dust, off his clothes. The harrier was in a corridor, and unlocked the door for Akashi. He noticed there were some crates of the bottled water stacked against a wall, ready to be sold. With the smell from the water he had earlier, the canine knew, since there was some profit to be made. The fox merchant did not care, if it was going to make buyers sick. Akashi put his hand on the handle and was ready to run, if an alarm would go off. He quickly opened the door and walked in to the building. He was relieved that no alarm sounded. “The door is not alarmed, we could of broke it.” The tiger looked at the harrier, noticing his clothes were dusty from going through the vent. “After all, were are not infiltrating Shadow Moses base Snake.” He laughed. The feline turned his attention to the stacks of bottles. “I think we should go look elsewhere in this factory. If there is a problem with the water in Farwille, this building should be closed.” Rocky sighed at the tiger and went through a door opposite the entrance, and was in a large room with machinery. Some empty bottle were left, ready to be brewed. The harrier hated what he saw. The filters weren’t cleaning up the water properly, ready for being sold. He noticed a couple bottles were still left, and the water in them was a faded brown. Folks in the town desperate for some water, may not notice it earlier in the day. The dog was about ask Akashi to help him, but heard someone talking from another room. The canine ran out into the corridor. He tapped the tiger on the shoulder. “We have to go now!” Rocky exited the factory along with the feline. They made haste out of the car park, and headed back into town. Once Akashi sat down on a bench to get his breath back. He gazed back at the road and his thoughts were on what Rocky saw in that room. “What did you see in that room?” Rocky sat down next to the tiger. “They are putting the contaminated water in the bottles. Citizens are buying it and drinking it, eventually they might get sick.” The harrier stood up and looked and wished he had more time to look around the factory. “Someone else was in the building, maybe a security guard. So I did not look around for long.” The dog looked ahead at the castle ruin, thinking why would anyone would make a profit, knowing that it will make buyers sick. He also wondering what caused this whole problem with the town’s water. |

Chaos Emerald

Current location: Forest near a main road, heading towards Chefs Talon ~ Near Speedy and DF, in short. All was calm... Well, within the forest at least. Outside the forest seemed to be much trouble. As restless as the trees were within this forest, for some reason they slowly began to sway. It wasn't like a strong wind was blowing, but rather something was trying to inter into the occupied space, which was the forest. The trees started to sway more and more, and soon they started to shake violently. Loud noises like thunder could be heard, to which the sound only grew in volume. The sound reached the road that neighbored the forest, and reached further than that. Soon, a light show started to take place, yet the only colors being displayed were blue and white. Quick flashes filled the sky as a whirling sound was added to the thunderous noise. Then came the odd sound of something ticking, like a clock. The sound also grew in volume, to which the shaking moved to the ground, scaring any wild life within the forest. A loud and enormous boom erupted as a gold sphere flashed onto the scene, blazing with speed as it ate anything and everything in its path. It seemed to appear out of thin air, yet it also seemed to have been launched from somewhere. The large sphere, which was about twenty feet wide and twenty feet height wise, burned through most of the forest as it crashed and began to bounce about and roll. Whatever it was, it was boiling lava hot as it set to fire whatever it touched, yet the fire didn't burn, it consumed and eroded into nothingness. Soon the ball was reaching the road, yet the ball itself seemed to decrease in size the more it traveled. Finally it reached the edge of the forest and bounced one last time as it shattered before reaching the road. Something flew out of the orb. It looked to be a human male, soaring through the air until his body hit the pavement and bounced a few time. His body slid across the ground until he reached the other side of the road, where he laid there as his clothing and body lightly smoked. He looked dead. That was until his fingers twitched, which soon stirred his entire body awake. He slowly lifted himself up into a sitting position, then sided as he kept his head lowered. He had long orange hair, and his skin color seemed to me dark. His clothing was strange. He sported all sorts of clothing, some that weren't of this current time period. "Ahhhhh... Saved again... I think..." He spoke with a slightly deep voice. He lightly raised his head to take a gander at his surroundings. He didn't recognized where he was, to which he dropped his head again and sighed heavily. "Wonder where I am now..." He spoke to himself. After sitting there for a moment, he slowly stood up and faced the direction from where he came. He spotted the destruction he caused, only to shrug his shoulders as to brush it off. "Could of been worse, I guess..." "Kolca Segie, Mission Time Stamp is now activated... There are no other Time-Crusaders present... Good luck." A voice spoke from the device on his wrist. It would appear to be a normally looking gold gauntlet. However, this item was far more than just a simple gauntlet. "Geez, how many times do I have to say it. I don't care about this crap..." Kolac spoke to the device on his wrist. As before, no reply at all. This is how it normally went. He was thrown into some weird place so he could be something there or solve something, maybe fix something, then get thrown somewhere else. It was annoying, and surely no way to live, but he managed. Now, he just needed to understand this world is was currently in, and figure out how to survive it. This 'mission' or whatever was never his objective. Staying in one place for a long time was his goal, so why complete the mission at all? Besides, he didn't care either way. "Guess the nearest town is that way... Gonna need a ride, I'm a bit tired..." He states, looking around as he placed his hands in his pockets. He stood about 6'2" so spotting far off cars was a breeze. To his surprise, he spotted a stopped vehicle only a few miles away from him. Perhaps someone would give him a lift to the nearest town. A thought did cross his mind though. It'd be best if he go to this person first, before they spotted him by a nearly destroyed, or rather dissolved, forest. So, with his hands tucked into his pockets he started his walk towards the car that looked to be motionless. Of course, he had another problem. He wasn't exactly human. At least, not anymore he wasn't. Hopefully this world embraced non-human-looking beings. |

Forested area, east from Chef's Talon Under normal circumstances, this rather shameful turn of events could've been handled more discrete. Yet that ain't in his nature. With each of his family member, handling petty crimes, murderers and worse, it's no wonder that violence often serves it's right of freedom. The tree's saved his scaly backside, upon hearing the gunshot. The engine roaring about, from behind. Wasn't willingly giving up the chase, another roadie with a merciful reputation perhaps. No stress, if not comfortable, as long things can be avoided on the road, nature will offer it's sanctum. Yet such comfort shan't be so swiftly given. Weather's blowing up like on wildfire. Literally, as something scorched every bit of cranny in front of him. There's no alternative left, given the allotted time, perhaps such scenery embracing it self, may offer a chance dealing with the driver up-close. Chances is, that whoever dealt the forest ablaze, won't necessarily come forth like an angel. Even at bare minimum, he could stare into the driver eye's. His immediate reaction was flawlessly embarrassing, saying the least. Both hands lifted above his head, but if that disastrous event, due east from his location, reveled more then simple space garbage, that'd surely set anyone on the edge a bit nervous, having to deal with more then, what an one eyed muffler can suffice. Chances was, he weren't looking into some law enforcer, with lacking experience dealing with such immensity. "fudge it." Kaman uttered under his own breathe, before retreating back. Yet the only disadvantage surpass was his overly muscular body structure, and slow momentum. Another one of those bullet's and he could be tuck down, before buried down, whether alive or dead. Doesn't matter, as he knew the criminal nature far to well. If all matters succeed, it's all making a lucrative hideout down below. Hopefully knowing every crick and canny, enough to make an perfect ambush. If that weren't all, that blaring sound from the local police unit approached vigilantly, probably witnessing very much the same from a safe distance, and now about to investigate, with their propulsive habit of curiosity. Idiots! That's basically what they are. No wonder crime even started with those beheaded doufs, always stepping up with their boot's, thinking they have their righteous law, too look back at. //Oh yeah, Lilfate! Have a decent amount of description around the landscape if you'll ever need a few tips around the location we're at. Link's on first page I vaguer.\\ |

Sitting for sometime was proving to be unsuccesful figuring whoever he had disturbed at the house was either now long gone, watching him in return or gone back to the house. The engine still running Finn decided to give it ten more minutes or so before heading off, time was ticking away and according to the radio strange incidents were being reported in populated areas. His ears pricking up at the news the wolf leant over adjusting the volume, cursing as the buletin crackled with static a wavey static as though something was interferring with the signal. Moving the dial the sound was all over the place, not able to take any more giving a disassitsifed frown turned it off when something from behind the vehicle startled his wits, ducking in the drivers seat out of sheer instinct. Watching as something flew over the tree tops with a harsh wind the explosion wasn't too far from his location, great just what we need muttering under his breath. Peering up from behind the steering wheel there wasn't too much to see apart from smoke and debris from whatever the hell the thing was when something caught his eye, someone standing watching, a crocodile? Was this the guy who shot the glass, or what? Unable to tell but they stared for a while at each other before whoever it was retreated back into th eundergrowth. A result of whatever happened or... In the distance sirens were wailing quite a distance away, assuming due to the incident they couldn't figure out where it was exactly so had some time at least. Scanning the undergrowth revelaed nothing, but when looking at the road ahead someone, different to who was spotted before was walking slowly, casually even towards the car. Someone who was a wonderer perhaps? All too conveniant after all half the forest in front was a smouldering mess. Driving slowly to the approaching figure it appeared he was the same height at least as himself, so no funny business trying to overcome him, at least for now anyway. Drawing up to a stop the wolf stepped out causally leaning over the roof taking in, who or whatever the person was, unable to make out whether human or well, something else. "You ok there mate? Miles from anywhere here almost like bandit country, need a ride? Sounds like the old bill are on their way and don't want to be hanging around with them asking questions i can tell ya!" Gesturing to the front passenger seat Finn smiled a pleasant smile, he wasn't planning on anything no good but was getting more adjitated with the sirens getting ever closer. "You can tell me about what happened on the way to Chefs Talon. Oh hang on a mo" Shouting at the undergrowth, it was a last chance effort to see who was there "UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HAULED IN BY THE ROZZERS ME OL' MATE, I SUGGEST YOU HOP RIGHT IN" "Sorry aout that, had an altercation with someone" Explaining casually as thought it were an every day occurance, well in truth it was sort of but he didn't know that. |

The Dragon Whisperer
|
The long, low loomed building that was the airport came into view over the hill. Zen watched it get ever closer to them as he felt his life that he lead before parting away, heading back, sticking to the country he once lived in. He only had one thing left for him. Nyath. His eyes glanced over to the Dragon, cloaked and snoozing, but he knew where he was. He had found the Dragon, young, alone, afraid. Zen was sitting in a bar when it occurred. He was forever watchful, and managed to see some chips on his plate mysteriously dissapearing. He had eventually realised of what was happening and had lashed his hand out, grabbing the cloaked creature right around the throat. He had managed to soothe the best by feeding it food, and Nyath had just...latched on. They'd stuck together ever since. Zen had fed him, bathed him when needed, even rescued him when it was needed also. The two had stuck together like glue. Heck, when Zen didn't have time to get food for himself, he'd find the Dragon had dashed out, and returned with something he'd stolen for him. Morally wrong, but he knew the Dragon was a kind soul at heart. The pick-up truck stopped outside the airport and Zen gave the best thanks he could, before heading inside with Nyath following in his wake, a bit sluggish from just waking up. Now it was just the decision of where to go. Galvahal? That was a good place to go, if any. He decided that was the best place and ordered a ticket. Nyath can easily stow away in cargo or luggage. The flight would leave in 10 minutes. Just in time, it seems. Zen rushed on down to the terminal and slipped his bag of water. It passed with eased and they didn't detect the emergency plastic guns he carried on him. He rushed out to get on board. When he entered the plane, it was pretty much empty, which was strange. There was a long cue for when he got a ticket, why would the place be empty? He took a seat, and after a good few minutes, a few people in suits joined him, taking seats near the back. Surely there was more? He frowned, his luggage stowed at the top, Nyath sitting on the seat next to him, invisible. Zen could tell the Dragon was getting hungry. The plane began to rumble, and was about to set off. Now Zen was getting suspicious, but sat quietly, so as not to arouse suspicion. He waited every so patiently, waiting until they were allowed to take off their seatbelts. Innocent enough hostesses, who looked as confused at the lack of people as him, said they could take any bathroom breaks now. Zen decided he'd do just that. He wordlessly stood and quickly went into the bathroom, locking the door behind him and pulling out his plastic gun, making sure it was loaded. He crouched and waited. Just as he expected, there was a knock on the door. "Excuse me," A voice said on the other side. "I need to use the bathroom." Zen waited patiently for a moment, before he stood. Gun poised, he quickly opened the door. Just as he thought, the man on the other side also had a gun, and Zen quickly fired, shooting a bullet straight between the man's eyes. He rushed out of the bathroom stall and leapt to crouch behind him chairs as people tried to shoot at him. Looking down, he saw the suited men, some blood marks across the wall. They must have killed the hostess using firearms. He thought it would be a simple shoot-out, but suddenly, the plane began to dip. Zen gripped to the seat as the plane shook with how fast it was going. They needed out, and now. He scanned the bottom seats and found parachutes. He understood now. They were going to kill him, and the staff, and jump out, unseen and no one would know what happened. Well, they thought wrong. He raised up, fired a few shots as the people who took cover as he grabbed a parachute, slipping it on, still firing in their direction, keeping them back. He slammed his paw on a button near the back which opened up the emergency exit. He had to grip to the side, the wind rushing around him, tugging him left and right. He felt something butt against his leg, and then brush up and down. He guessed it was Nyath, signalling he was there. "Now!" He said, and leapt off the plane. He was plummeting to the ground below, and the plane shot past him as he went. He could barely see, looked left and right. He saw Nyath flailing in the air, uncloaked, squealing in fright. Zen reached out to him, grabbed him straight around the waist, seeing the ground getting closer and closer. Hugging the Dragon around it's furred waist, he pulled his parachute and held onto Nyath tight as they descended, slowly, towards a forested area. The Dragon just kept squealing, clinging to him, gripped around whatever of the wolf he could grab. They plummeted through the leaves, the parachute hooking on a branch and suspending them. Then the cords snapped and Zen landed with a thud on his back. He panted, his body racking with sudden pain, before he sat up. "Nyath, Nyath, calm down.." He said as the Dragon wriggled from his grip. On closer inspection, Zen saw a bullet wound, in his back leg. "Oh, Nyath..." The Dragon whimpered in pain. Nothing like this, for him, had ever happened. Zen tried to soothe as best he could, and cursed, remember all the water was on board, and they were in the middle of nowhere. They had arrived in the middle of nowhere. |

Sandopolis Act 2
|
Akashi thought about what Rocky said. Since the factory was still open, brewing contaminated water and selling it. He was surprised that nobody has noticed the factory is still up, and running. Although if there is panic over the water supply, no one might notice the building is still open. And no one might check, after all. The merchant did tell his customers, that he did not get his water from Farwille. And if they are really desperate for water, they would buy it. While the harrier was staring at the castle ruin. He overheard a couple of the residents, talking about the problems with the water. The dog saw a someone dump the merchant’s water down a drain. The citizen looked terrified. Rocky wondered if he knew that the merchant, was still getting the water in town. He was going to walk over to ask. But after the citizen finished getting rid of the water, he shouted that the problem was not just in the town. The issues with water, were occurring even in the nearby village’s too. After the news was out. The harrier noticed other residents getting rid of the water too. Some of them were asking one another about the cause, but it will still unknown why the liquid was bad. Rocky saw Akashi rush over, with a concerned look on his face. “What’s wrong?” The tiger looked to the road out of the town. “I have to the Rook. That is were I am staying. Melissa is still there.” Akashi turned his attention to the residents, dumping the bottled water. “When I left the village this morning, there was no mention of issues with the water supply, not even news it was a problem. I have to get back to the village.” Rocky reached in his pocket and pulled out a phone. He assumed the tiger did not have, one. “I have a mobile you could ring Melissa and tell her about the water problems. Since the Rook doesn’t know, about it.” He handed it to Akashi. “Do you know her number?” Akashi sighed and shook his head. “No. It is saved on my phone, but I did not bring it with me. I have to get back to the Rook now!” The tiger was getting a little frustrated, he wanted to get back to the village. If there were no news about problems with water in that area, when he left. He would have to get back and tell them. Also he wanted to see if his Melissa was safe too. “Come on. I will take you back to the Rook.” The harrier walked away, heading towards a car park, near the hotel he was staying at. He got in his car and started the engine. He revved it, to get the tiger's attention From the revving sound of the harrier’s car. Akashi rushed over and saw Rocky was sitting in the right seat. The tiger looked puzzled. “He’s letting me drive?” He thought. The tiger got in the car in a hurry. “So you are letting me drive your rental car huh… Good because you drive slow.” The feline put on the seat belt and noticed the steering wheel was not on the left. Rocky looked at Akashi and grinned. He thought it was a bit amusing, that he thought he was going to drive. “I came to Kavelio on a ferry, I hate planes. This is my car, and do not insult my driving.” The harrier put on his seatbelt and reversed the car out, and left the car park. “I’ll drive a bit quicker this time.” The dog put his foot down and drove off out of town, once he was out of the area, the canine drove a bit faster, heading towards the village called the Rook. (sorry for the late reply guys, I hope I didn't kill this off to which no one want to continue this. I'm also double sorry to DF because I've slowed this down a lot. I'm not even going to start giving excuses, for I have none. I should of posted long time ago, sorry guys.) "Great... This guy is crazy..." Kolca thought, listening the one who greeted him. Oddly enough, this person wasn't too concerned with what he was, rather who he was. Also, he was offering a ride to the nearest town or something. Some kind of weird name. "Huh..." Kolca uttered, looking around for a moment as he could hear the sirens in the distance. After taking a moment to look at the sky, trying to see if doing so would let him know where he was, he simply shrugged and looked towards his ride. "Whatever... I doubt you'll believe me though... Unless its a everyday thing where part of a forest gets engulfed in flames while spitting out someone that looks like me... Is it?" He replied as he walked to the passenger side of the car. Without waiting for an answer he simply helped himself inside the car and closed the door. He stretched a bit as he yawned, his yawn sounding similar to that or a lion, or some kind of beast. "Maybe I should get a hat... Makes me look more human... Then again..." He tells himself, only to look at Finn for a moment before closing his eyes and sighing. "Don't think that matters much..." He adds, to which he simply just sat there and waited. He wasn't in a rush. Besides, it sounded like he had a bit to learn about this place before he'd start to make a living... Wherever he was that is... |

//I may not be speaking for the rest of us, but I assumed you had things needed to be dealt with. Good to see your still in this though Lilfate.\\ Forest, due east from Chef's Talon/Carmine More determined to withdraw on his own accord, rather then seek refuge to some complete stranger. Due to his self-esteemed nature, he refused to turn back. Continuing onwards, passing the cabin, knowing they'd be all over it, looking for what, or who've may have set the forest ablaze. And of course, the undeniable fact, the crocodile is still on the loose for killing two officers on duty. Yet the forest hadn't exactly lived up to it's name. Rare lifeforms, little but no activity. Instead, there's an moderate amount with officer's, searching. Then it's that wolf, and what about the peculiar event taking place, barely right in front of him. He'd be dead, if it hadn't been so much roots, and overall difficult terrain, staggering his movement. Bout that, sounds from above. Yet already rooting out the Carm's Milita, (Carmine's official name for their police unit), there's some awful noise ahead of him. Quickly assuming the worse, ensconce behind a few tree's proceeding causally, checking his surroundings before attempting short but abrupt advances, using every bit of cover. The whole idea was to avert any further encounters, but he must've miscalculated the situation, ending up, due northeast from the apparent stranger's. Another wolf eh? Muttering under his own breathe, while he had an peculiar pet, catching the crocodile's broad interest. Rather amazed, he ventured forth, taking them by surprise, yet not without an suitable moderate sized branch in his grasp, readied if things would turn out of hand. The probability being detected was there. His alloted strategy prohibited stealth, dashing fort like an brute on a rampage. Knocking the owner out senseless first, knowing he'd may have a gun. By then, the green furred dragon was all waiting to be cooked, preferable tasty, as his belly continued to growl, yearning for a delicious meal. And he sure have never tasted dragon meat. |

"Whatever... I doubt you'll believe me though... Unless its a everyday thing where part of a forest gets engulfed in flames while spitting out someone that looks like me... Is it? Catching the question as he walked around before getting in, the odd yawn put pay to any follow up answer Finn had or curious questions. The sirens were drawing closer his patience wearing thin with the other potential problem, it was obvious whoever was out there wasn't going to come out or simply wasn't around. Time running short Finn hit the throttle gunning the engine into top gear tearing through the lanes eventually getting to the main road he lost earlier. Taking the route to Camine Capital the wolfs eyes peered into the mirror checking no one was following, much to his releif there was only them on the road, bar the odd car passing the other way. The quietness inside the cabin was a little unerving but nothing too major, constantly eyeing the figure trying to make out who or what he was. Definatly a he, there was something just in general, the voice, mannerisms the walk just eveyrthing. So that was a peice of the jigsaw, just the rest to put together. The guy looked human but, something not quite true about that. A light shrug as the wolf adjusted in the drivers seat, he'd seen other odd people before why should this be different? "So, what brings you here then my friend? Hope you don't mind but i was heading to Camine Capital if that's ok" Casually blurting out the question Finn saw the buildings looming in the distance of the city, a mixture of releif and cuatious feelings rushing through his dark fur who knew what the place would hold for him or the passenger. The miles passed eventually reaching the outer city limits the hustle and bustle everyone going about their business brought a grin across the wolfs face, how they didn't suspect a thing, passing by casually, the influence he and the objective would have on any one of these peoples future. Motiring towards the rough end of town there seemed to be an awful lot of water bottles lying around, sure there was rubbish in the streets as any place but it just seemed odd. Involountarily looking at the people they seemed hyped up kind of tense about something, terrosists maybe? "Say anytime you want out buddy just have to say, unless you've got a bit of money and want to join in on our fun in a while?" An extra tag along? Finn smirked at the thought, yeah why not, be good to have a tag along new to the place. An extra set of prints wouldn't hurt anyone. |

The Dragon Whisperer
|
There was a suspicious smell in the air. Zen could feel it. His hand ran across the whimpering Dragon's scales, bringing a furred finger to his lips as he rose up, slowly and surely, poised for something. His eyes scanned left and right. He felt something, but he couldn't pinpoint it. An enemy? Or a friend? Nyath shivered in pain beside him, the shock of the bullet wound really getting to him, enough to not even cloak. Zen brung a hand down, gently stroking him encouragingly as he took a few steps forward. Trees surrounded him, and his eyes could see no foe, but he never doubted his gut instinct. Suddenly, from nowhere, there was a burst, and his eyes darted to a large crocodile that just appeared out of nowhere. How had he managed to miss it? It barged forward all of a sudden, and Zen barely had time to react. For a large creature, it was certainly...fast. It towered towards with, and with a swift fist, sent him flying across the small clearing. He hit the tree nearby with a thud, and what he thought was a crack of his back. He grunted in pain, falling to the ground with a dull thud. His vision blurred as he saw Nyath struggling in the grip of the large crocodile, squealing in pain from it's wound. "N...Nyath..." He tried to reach out a hand, his vision fading. No. His only...friend... ------ The Dragon, struggling and writhing, was taken along a winding trail in the scaled fellow's grip for a very long time. He'd even been tied up and there was no hope of escape, from what he saw. Yet, there was an opportunity. He was placed down while the beast set up an open flame, and his spine chilled with what must transpire. But the ropes weren't tight enough, not for him. With some forced, painful wiggling, his feet slipped from the bonds ad he used his foot-claws to break the rest. He had to cloak, but he was so tired, so much in pain. But if he didn't, he'd be dead meat. Literally. With some exertion he managed to get his physical form to turn invisible to the naked eye. He limped away, trying to be unnoticed, scuffling only a few times in the dirt before bounding away as fast as he could. He might have gotten away, but he was lost, so very lost. Where was Zen? Even more, where was he? |

Sandopolis Act 2
|
Akashi and Rocky arrived in the village. The news was out, that the problem with water, was in the areas near Farwille as well. Although everything was calm in the Rook. Either the residents were taking it well, or they did not know it yet. The tiger pointed to the hotel, he was staying at. The harrier stopped car, and he got out. He gazed around the village, it looked like everything was normal, there was no panic among the residents. “They seem to be taking the water problem well.” He thought. Akashi got out the car and rushed up to his room. He was worried since there was a problem with the water, and the village did not seem to know, about it. The feline was concerned that water could have been consumed, by the citizens. He was more worried about his girlfriend. The cat opened the door to his room, but there was no one inside. The tiger walked to the window in his room and looked out. He saw Melissa was outside sitting by the pool, talking to Rocky. Akashi left the room and went to the pool. He assumed if his girlfriend went in the pool earlier in the day. “He you been swimming?” He asked in a worrying tone. Melissa looked at Akashi, and was happy to see he was back. But she saw, that he looked concerned. The tiger looked at the pool, and shook her head. “No… There is something wrong with the water. The hotel has not allowed anyone in the pool.” She stood up and walked over to her boyfriend. “They do not know what has caused it. But it’s not just the water in the pool, the streams and the rivers to, seem to be contaminated.” The feline looked down at the pool. “I heard about it, while you were in the Farwille.” Rocky looked at the road what led back to Farwille. “There is panic in the town. Some merchant has been selling the contaminated water at an expensive price. Telling the citizens that he has got it out of town.” The harrier turned to face Melissa. “But since the new broke out about, the issue with the water happening outside Farwille. They have stopped drinking it.” The dog turned his attention to the residents of the village. “The people here seem calm about what is happening.” Melissa looked at the citizens of the Rook, then glanced at the pool. “No one has been drinking water here. I have been drinking orange, I suppose the residents have found other things to drink.” The tiger thought about the possibility, of the water issue, occurring out side the Farwille area. “Do you think other cities and towns have this problem? Since it is happening in the town and villages here.” The harrier shrugged his shoulders. “I do not know. It could be possible, but Kavelio is a big place. And we would of heard about it.” Rocky then thought about staying somewhere out of the area. “I think we should go find out if this, is a problem in other area. We will…” Akashi gazed at the sky then looked the harrier puzzled, and interrupted him. “What now?” The tiger glanced at Rocky’s car, and slightly shook his head. “Your car only has, two seats, and it is getting late.” Rocky held out the palm of his hand to the tiger. “Let me finish. We will leave tomorrow morning. I will hire a car.” The harrier walked back to his vehicle, and waved to Akashi and Melissa. He got in his car drove back to Farwille. Melissa walked back in the hotel. “Akashi are you coming back to the room? Akashi looked to his girlfriend and gestured he to go back to their room. “You go on ahead. I am going to stay out here for a while. I will not be long.” Melissa yawned then headed back to the room. Akashi walked to the edge of the pool and looked at the water. The lights in the surrounding the pool area lit up. The tiger could, see his own reflection in the water. He thought about the other areas of Kavelio. Were they just as bad as Farwille. There was no news to him, if it was occurring in other areas. But he will find out once he gets to the other places of Kavelio. |
