Christmas is back again

Allow me to first of all add my intentions with this thread.
It's meant to add the inhabitants of this world, (like fan characters).
More so, the information around the continent it self and it's 5 distinct regions.
Alas there will be added maps around each of these regions as well.
There will be included a floating island/(No it ain't the Emerald island.) And the scorching heat of the underworld.

If this should be placed elsewhere then I simply didn't know where. Enough with the idle chatter though. Time to put things in place.

Kavelio

When it comes down to Kavelio it self....
The continent lies north from what originally was referred to Mobius/Sonic universe.
With it's five distinct regions along with the floating island of Air Castle and the depths of the Bustling Infero, (Hell). Counted clockwise there's Farwille lying to the north.
To the east there's Liathal, known for it's relative well known dragon reservoir/making sure of their survival, at modern times. To the south, there's Carmine. Not much is said around this, apart that it's filled with an varied climate. Both arid and cold.
Miriam's Fall lies to the west, and Galvahal stands in the center.

Kavelio is also home to most of my fan characters as well with a few few friends of mine. Each of these will be listed eventually. Also those who wish to join in the Kavelio universe. Be sure to add your characters here as well with your original thread.

Now it's down to each of the Regions available.

Galvahal

- Galvahal City; It lies to the north, with an much dense forest that surrounds the outer walls. Tesla runs due south from town, with the alloted bridge accessible through both medieval and modern times.
It stands as the capital and home to it's noble family. The time for monarchy ended unfortunate during the modern era, and is now controlled by democracy. Supposedly allowing the free speech of it's citizens, rather then ripe beneath a one man's rule.
The town stands like a circle, with the castle at the northern side, the houses alloted around and in the middle. Markets and inns are all situated randomly, supposedly a guard could laid some assistance on the town's whereabouts.

- Galvahal Castle; As mentioned it lies north of the capital. It's ancient and home to it's many nobles. Elderhorn reigned for at least an era, until Monarchy was thrown down because an misinterpretation event, involving a certain plague.
The castle supposedly still stands even during the modern times. Supposedly made into a museum, memories of it's ancient history.

- Galvahal Metropolis; As the name replies. Galvahal expands in size as time goes by. The forest that surrounded the town, has all been torn down. Used for materials and at times, the whole natural balance is at the limits of being totally wiped from this region's soil.
What used to have stood like a circle now is more squarish and expanded with it's many farm-holds and factories. It isn't much that would make this the heart of Kavelio nowadays.

- Tesla River Runs at the majority of Kavelio. Due south from Galvahal city as it runs southwards like an overstretched Z or S curve, until it continues into Liathal. Popular fishing site, but it's also added one after another horrible incident, that makes this both lethal and prosperous all at the same time.
During modern times, it's used for transportation out towards the ocean.

- Redoran; Southwest from Carvallion mountain's, and near the border to Carmine.
An ancient saying that there was some sort of practice within the dark arts of necromancy back in the days. Nowadays, it's merely a hub that offers a reluctant place to stay for wanderers and tourists who seek to climb up through the mountain, or explore it's many passageways. Created by no other then nature it self, once upon a time.

- Lesslie's Farmhold; Due west from the medieval town of Galvahal.
This is where most of the source of wheat and meat came, feeding the capital's hunger through both wonderful and grim times. At the extent that one day it simply wasn't needed no more with the factories taking place. It's been burn down and there aren't any signs of what once used to be an prosperous fertile land.

- Endless Mist; Not far towards the east of town lies the Endless Mist. The forest stretches far south, across the river of Tesla. The fear someone may get stranded isn't difficult to understand with all them tree's occasionally filling the depths of Tesla. Yet no one dares to enter, afraid to get lost or worse.
It's mysterious and rich with unusual wildlife. Just what are these? A man or woman shouldn't have to find out, unless they wish to seek some answers.

- Eagle's Crest; Lies toward the east of Endless Mist.
It's been closed for centuries. And it's unknown whether anyone may want to enter something so ancient that even the appearance from outside can strike fear into the lost wanderer. Tread careful when your near Eagle's Crest as there are warning signs randomly scattered across the whole country side.

- Galvahal's Airstrip; Southwest from Galvahal, in fact it's across the bridge surrounded by the river as it strangely enough turns from it's western route towards the east.
Airplanes, helicopters and just about anything that'll include aircrafts. This is also the home-base for the air-force's military, separated from the modern militaristic guild.

- Helm of Acron; North of Galvahal city, lies near the border of Farwille.
It's the home for all military activities apart from the pilots who preferred their own base of operations. It's hard to come by any kind of police force in all of Kavelio, thus why the Helm of Acron has been built, and this is where hundreds of worthy militaristic personalities gather to prove their might, accuracy, agility and most of all their lack of fear of getting killed.
They have a few other minor stations all over Kavelio, each with their own distinct name and leadership. But their all connected as one in the end.

- Arrowstread; Lies south of Carvallion mountains, and north of Redoran.
Fresh water comes here, and thus the activity of extraordinary wildlife may come and go if the adventurers photographer are there to capture it's moment. While back in the days, stories about dragons and griffins. It's hard to know how Redoran even managed to survive, when considering some of these creatures are as bloodthirsty as they are clenching for the riches of water.

- Carvallion Mountains; Southwest of Galvahal, north from Arrowstread.
Home to the renown Whitefangs, or at least used to. It's hard to come by these mythical creatures nowadays unless you travel to Liathal. Other creatures have infested these mountains, both below and high above. But later on, it's merely been added to what appeared being a renown tourist attraction.

Carmine

- Capital of Carmine; It lies in the center of Carmine with Lak Avari just outside it's walls.
Once or twice it has been conquered back in the old days. Whether it's the lack of architecture or their armies was never trained for lethal combat. With the castle who used to stay at the eastern side, it's been given some considerable changes since the medieval times.
First of all, the castle has been taken down. The town it self looks like a cornered cat from above. The famous inn/tavern is still found outside the walls or what used to be. While houses are mostly found north of town. And it's not hard to see that this town has received a proper modern adjustment with it's tall scrapers and seemingly technological advancement.
While it lacks much of anything viable extraordinary then the usual shops, it's the unique design that could set anyone just looking upon them.
Carmine has still a king, but now lives in an huge house that's found on southeast. Well preserved with it's natural addition of tree's even a few fountains here and there.

- Chef's Talon; The chef's Talon lies on the southern edge of Carmine as of today, but used to stand solid outside the medieval walls near the stables, that's been removed with the modernized vehicle factory.
What Chef's Talon stands for is, the most famous bartender Chef who built this even before the town had started. It's obvious one of the few structures who has it's original design, surprisingly it hasn't been burnt down considering it's wooden material.
Locals come and go, and even if the road strays just about outside the entrance, no one's been much the pessimist. The Avari lake lies southwest from the Inn.

- Arranties; Is a small abundant village lying north of Carmine, near the borders of Galvahal. While it lacks community, it sure has enough with fertile ground, and thus the amount of farms. Unfortunate sometime around the medieval times a dark force destroyed this village and it's people. Now it's nothing more but an desolate ruin of what used to stand there. It ain't much.

- Cradleborn; Another small town near the ocean due south from the capital.
With it's dockyard, it used to provide large amounts of fish, even to this day. Now it's also focused around boat traffic from the souther continent, delivering various goods and transporting citizens for those who think it's frightening picking up the nearest flight.
The villagers that lives here, have always worked here for the majority of time. And there's not much social life here, unless you pick upon one of their few restaurants and mandatory shops with the most rich source on the sale's table. Namely fish and other varieties of sea food. Considering the landscape, it's the only source of food, apart from trading.

- Verillious Drought; Covers most of the southern region with it's dry landscape. Haze the known desert lies to the west, and if it weren't for the ocean, this land would've been a waste of effort to even think of survival.
Yet even if it's climate has changed from the medieval times till this day, the ground just ain't meant for producing food of any kind.
What used to be filled with bandits roaming the deserted land, is remotely forgotten nowadays.

- Kazan's Stronghold; North of Carmine, due west from Arranties. Unlike the town, it still stands in modern times. The visuals are ancient, but the same can't be said about it's impressive durability of strength and measurement. No one's ever been able to conquer this.
Yet it's never been used as from today, and whether it would survive the lethal force of rockets, are unthinkable.

- Faseth's Rainfall; To the southeast lying near the coast lies the most famous waterfall of Carmine. Running out towards the ocean. It's also one of the few areas flourishing with life. It's almost magical. Life, so hard to find near the southern shores are simply astonishing with monkeys, birds and other creatures of the wild. Almost could refer it as a jungle.

- Raven's Nest; Southeast of Carmine, an entrance behind the waterfall, difficult to reach by foot, so whether anyone's gained entrance to this is uncertain. So whatever the it's hiding, it could be well worth checking out, if you'll end up surviving the feat.

- Yamato's Shrine; Southeast of Carmine supposedly hidden beneath the desert of Haze. It's supposed to be a shrine, but who knows what's beneath the sand. Thing is, do anyone really know of it's existence. Perhaps the library's have something relative informative around it's whereabouts/existence and true form.

- Wrenches Lighthouse: Stationed directly south from the capital lies the Lighthouse providing safe harbor for those looking to dock down at Cradleborn.

- Carm's Militia; Within the city lies the Militia of Carmine. Known for it's achievements even if it's rather weak effort back in the medieval times. Perhaps it was all down to the fact, it wasn't built for defense.
Connected to the Helm of Acron, if you'll looking to sign up, they'll probably send you off north to prove your worth.

Miriam's Fall

- Ildehorn's Reach; Covers Miriam's Fall like an everlasting chain of mountain's offering little home for cities such as been found in various corners around Kavelio. Then wouldn't it mean a most fitting reward for aerial creatures. Truth is, there's but birds that make their nests among these unfriendly mountains. Yet there's an astonishing tale that within, there's something more then solid rock. Yet none have dared to seek it's secrets, afraid from getting lost perhaps.

- Skilliat's Howling Moon: An relative small Inn, known for it's welcoming hospitality until one morning when all but one remained observing down upon the great sea, almost with a tint of red carcase.
Countless suicides in one single night. From this day forth, the Inn has been marked as unwanted. Burnt down, so they'd may think. But even today it still stands firmly, with it's renown reputation of being sinister and cursed. Stay clear sign's covers all the simplicity of roads that covers Miriam's Fall. Often with a black skull, similar to that on a pirate's flag.

- Charlton's Dockyard: What little is there to say about this rather insignificant place whereas travelers often come by ship, looking for extra supplies. Lying at the northern exit, near the ocean. Built stairs to gain access, because the whole region seems impregnable hard to come by, unless you'll travel inlands from Galvahal.
Charlton the owner now retired living somewhere in Farwille could see profit building a traditional dockyard. And thus a united project was made. Spent about ten years before it was finally finished. With multiple access to helicopters and several docking bays. Charlton wasn't just a dock, but a small village hold built above. Could very well have been the first actual civilized city in these treacherous land that Fall's have to offer.

- El Visimo Befast: What on earth? Even the name sounds by far from legitimate. Well in fact, it's a small residence that's home to more then one criminal mind. Lying at the center, mountains on both sides, whereas tree's on the south end. With fairly limited access, you'd may wonder where they pick up their food, clothing etc.
Well some things aren't meant to be told, but as far rumors tell. This is were one of the most organized criminal gangs. Kaman Scar's one of them. You'd best stay clear of Miriam Fall, as it's simply infested with professional groups of robber's, murderers and thieves.

- Kathom's Fortress: It was built long time ago. Whether they've picked up the similar culture of the Mayans. The construction is circular, built into the mountains it self. It's like a large complex with halls, and one of the few accessible areas whereas anyone has dared to enter in all of Idlehorn's Reach.
Known for it's thick impenetrable walls, towers accessible on all sides. There's more to it. Like burrowed segments creating an unfathomable difficult way of traversing through the gate's who's been infused by one of the strongest steel's ever produced. It's definitive not human made. Perhaps the now extinct dwarves had something to do with this magnificent project. Perhaps history within can tell us more. As of yet, none have set a foot into these halls for a thousand year at least.
It's approximately lying north, or southeast from Chartlon's Docks. While it's firmly seated around a ^ formed closure, as the chain continues downward in both ways.

- Aran Fawddwy, pronounced "Ar an - Forthy": Processing information....

Remaining locations have yet to be uncovered by anyone alive to see.

The Dragon Whisperer
Liathal

Location: To the Right of Galvahal.

Medieval Locations

Shine Lake - A large lake, in which a Dragon community situates. The society itself is rather polite and well-kept, and there's a large castle that looms over the lake, watchful, in which the elder's look over their group and make sure they are well, but like every community, keeps secrets behind closed doors. Around the lake are caves, some on cliff faces, some inside forests, that the Dragon's have taken to living in. Either that, or they sleep near and around the Lake bank. Ruth and Cerath used to live here before they left.

Castle Liath. - Named after the country, it is a large, royal castle home to King Alfen I. It's encompassed by a large city which humans and anthropomorphic animals live in and tend to their lives.. It was near Shine Lake, and on occasion, to keep the Dragons happy, humans would take over food in order to please them.

Mountains of Esterfell - A large group of rocky mountains that is nearly impossible to live in, and to traverse. Dragons have no problems heading around it.

Plains of Dezotel - A group of plains which the majority is owned by bandits and natural predators, wolves, hyenas.

The Forest of Illusion - A medium-density forest home to many creatures. There are some predators, but the main threat was getting lost in there. There was no water, hardly any berries, so getting lost was fatal without provisions.

Modern Locations

Shine Lake (Modern) - What was once a Dragon community, is now a Dragon Reserve. The beasts are thin in their ranks in the modern era and as such, those that they have found are taken into captivity as an endangered species to prolong their life. It wasn't a cage, but more they have built a large fence with a forcefield around the lake and some of the forest nearby so that they could live in peace from the outside world and still be fed by the humans.

Liath - The castle now mostly in ruins, it was a tourist attraction around a large modern city. The top-most technology, with humans and animals alike. There was large corporal companies and other stuff around the city, like any other large settlement.

Iskarstead - A medium-sized town well known for it's delicious foods and fantastic imports. Contains a lot of Dragon merchandise, avid fans.

Relka Dojo - Created not long ago, it's a small quaint Dojo in the Esterfell mountains where martial arts train to be masters of combat.
