So I decided to go out and buy an HDTV for the first time and I decided to start small with a 32 inch. Why does the audio sound so horrible and what do I do to fix this? I've tried all I can with the TV itself but it just sounds awful. Kind of sounds like a pair of headphones with the volume turned all the way up but in the same room. PS3 sounds crappy, Sega Genesis sounds terrible and regular digital cable sounds horrific. Much assistance would be appreciated. |

What is the exact model of Toshiba we're talking about here.. some TVs are built with substandard speakers, especially LEDs since they are so thin. You may have to use a separate set of speakers if the ones built into the display are crap. |

It's an LCD, model 32C110U. What kind of speakers should I buy? Like something that has surround sound or what? Note that I'm very outdated with technology knowledge outside of video games and MP3/iPods. EDIT: I will say that I've read up and somewhere on BestBuy.com a person wrote a review on this model and stated he adjusted the sound settings and it improved on the tiny sound. The tiny sound is what I'm experiencing currently. I watched Pineapple Express with my Turtle Beaches and then went back and turned up the volume. There is a big difference in sound, tone and bass. EDIT II: This thread will be deemed closed with or without locking. I found my answer after reading up and decided to go with a nice but expensive sound bar. Bye, bye.
