The scarf was blue with a bit of yellow in it. ''You'll need this, dear,'' Rarity tells Dash. ''I mean, if you're going to go out the least you could do is stay warm, dear.'' A blush came from Dash's cheeks and she smiiled sheepishly at Rarity. ''Thanks, but..I don't need it, honest,'' Dash says as she grabs the scarf with her mouth and hands it back to Rarity. Rarity chuckles and takes the scarf, ''Rainbow Dash, I understand what you're trying to say. You want to be nice, but.. honestly, dear you're going to freeze to death out there if you don't get suited up right, darling.'' She put emphasis on honestly and freezing. Dash sighs and takes the scarf and wraps it around her neck gently. ''Is that all?'' Rainbow Dash asks. Rarity laughs and shakes her head. ''No, no, darling,'' She says, ''There's not much more though.'' She sits Rainbow down and Rarity puts on a small, but warming coat and then puts on a dark blue hat with a fuzzy yellow ball at the top on her. ''I'm almost done, Rainbow Dash,'' Rarity says and smiles, and puts some dark blue boots on Dash's feet. ''There we are!'' Rarity says happily and Rainbow gets up. ''Thanks, Rarity,'' Dash says and Rarity nods. Dash opens the door, goes outside and then gasps as she sees snow everywhere. She had seen it before when it was Winter Wrap-up but besides that she hadn't seen a whole lot. She then ducks down as she sees some ponies walking by her. She sighs, and then walks past them. She knew she had a big race today against Fluttershy but that wasn't for another few hours. She then chuckles, knowing that she could train. She squats down, getting ready to fly, readies her wings and then soars into the sky. She smiles, loving the freedom she had whenever she flew. She did all kinds of tricks in the sky. She knew she could beat Fluttershy easy peasy. Fluttershy was a weak flier and couldn't exactly fly the best or the most fast in the world. She didn't mind it, but just the thought of it made her even more pumped up for the race. Going against such an easy flier, it would be a cinch to win the race. She sighs and then her day dreaming and thoughts were interrupted when she bumped into someone. She looked up to see Fluttershy. Her eyes widened. ''Watch where you're going,'' Fluttershy said, giving her a glare. She pushes past her roughly and forcefully, making Rainbow Dash fall. She falls into the soft, white snow. She quickly gets up and shakes all the snow off her fur and hair. She looked surprised at Fluttershy's behavior, usually Fluttershy wasn't like that.. Fluttershy couldn't do that, let alone even get the courage to do anything near that. She was even afraid of her own shadow! So what changed her now? Hmm.. this led Rainbow Dash to some hard thinking. Finally after a while of sitting in the coid, wet snow she got up and decided to go to Twilight Sparkle. Maybe she would have the answers. She trots to Twilight's house and then soon got there. She knocks on the door and a tired and groggy, messy haired looking purple Pony answered the door. ''Oh, hey, Rainbow,'' Twilight mumbles sleepily. She yawns. ''W-what's up? What do you need?'' She asks me and I walk inside, Twilight shutting the door after me. We sit on her carpet and I sigh. ''It's about Fluttershy,'' Rainbow said. ''I bumped into her while training for the race I'm having with her later, and she looked at me, giving me a glare-'' She was going to continue, but Twilight interrupted her. ''Woah, woah woah, wait,'' Twilight says, looking at Rainbow disbelievingly, ''FLUTTERSHY gave you a glare? What else did she do?'' Rainbow gave her a nod and continues, knowing Twilight probaly didn't believe her, ''She said to me 'watch where you're going'. and then pushed me, which made me fall.'' Twilight had a shocked look on her face. She couldn't believe FLUTTERSHY out of all people would do that. She sighs and then gets up from the carpet, as does Rainbow. ''Spike,'' She calls him and Spike comes immediately, giving a salute. ''Yes, Twilight?'' He asks. Twilight looks at him, ''Can you climb up and get me some books on suspicious pony behavior?'' Spike looks confused, but instead of butting in and asking why he climbs up the ladder and gets 3 books on them. He climbs down extra carefully trying not to fall, and he gives the books to her. Using her magic, Twilight opens all 3 books and begins reading the pages, trying to find a certain page. She begins to get frustrated, unable to find anything on the subject. She hastily shut the books and growls. ''I can't find anything on it!'' She yells. She then jumps as she hears a knock on the door. Twilight gets up and walks to it, opening it. She sees Rarity. ''Hello, darling,'' Rarity says. ''I was worried about Rainbow Dash. She was taking such a while outside I started to get worried...'' She sees Rainbow Dash and runs up to her and sits next to her. ''Oh, there you are, dear!'' She says happily. Rainbow Dash looked confused, but instead chuckled and shrugged it off. ''Uhm.. alrighty then,'' Rainbow Dash says. Twilight closes the door and walks back over to the rug and sits back down. ''What are you ponies doing?'' Rarity asks and Twilight looks at Rarity. ''Long story short, Fluttershy was mean to Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy is NOT like that so we decided to look stuff up on it.'' Rarity nods, and they all get up. ''Well, I'm sure it's nothing, darling,'' Rarity says, ''Probably just a bad day.'' ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A FEW HOURS LATER: THE RACE BETWEEN FLUTTERSHY AND RAINBOW DASH It was now the race between Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash zoomed to the starting line, waiting for Fluttershy. She taps her foot impatiently, she had absolutely no patience. She soon gapes at Fluttershy seeing her. Fluttershy wore purple eyeshadow with long, black mascara and a dark, black biker coat. She wore black boots on her two front hooves. Her pink mane had been dyed black with red highlights in it and so had her tail. ''Fluttershy...'' Rainbow Dash started to say, ''W...what happen-'' She was about to ask, but the announcer interrupted her. ''RACERS, GET READY!'' The announcer yelled. Fluttershy ignored Rainbow Dash and got her wings ready, as did Rainbow Dash. They both got in the starting position. ''READY......SET...............GO!!!!!!!'' The announcer yells and the two ponies zoom off, Fluttershy zooming past Rainbow Dash at fast, high speeds. Rainbow Dash, not beleving this, flies at extremely high speeds. The two ponies were soon neck and neck, both doing tricks. They were almost at the finish line, and then Fluttershy bumps into Rainbow Dash forcefully, and she falls to the ground with a thump, and Fluttershy passes the finish line. Okay, that was the last straw. NOBODY AND I MEAN NOBODY, beats Rainbow Dash in a race! Especially Flutthershy...and ESPECIALLY if she CHEATED! But she looked up at all the Ponies congratulating her. Nobody seemed to care that she had cheated. They only cared that she won. What a dirty, rotten cheater! Rainbow Dash thought. Okay, THIS was defenitly out of the ordinary, especially for Fluttershy. This was crossing the line. She gets up from the ground and Rarity and Twilight Sparkle run up to her. ''Hey. I saw what Fluttershy did..are you okay?'' Twilight asks and Rainbow Dash nods, she really was. She had fallen lots of times and it never hurt, so why now? Rainbow Dash suddenly got a serious look on her face and looked at them. ''I need both of your help. We're going to find out what's wrong with Fluttershy and why she's acting like this... and NOW.'' The two ponies nod, and start off to Twilight's house. They were determined to find out what was up with the sudden change in Fluttershy, and now.

I'm sorry. I stopped reading right there. I thought this was going to be some angry musing story about how the world hates. This is... confusing. Even though I've never watched the show, I can't just walk out of a topic! Therefore I read Okay, first I'm gonna get the grammar mistakes that snuck by you. Reread the last 2 paragraphs. Awwright, now that that's out of the way, note that I have absolutely no knowledge of the universe you just threw me into. I have never see MLP:FiM, but you did a great job of introducing the characters in the first couple of events. It's always hard to get a good introduction, so props for that! I look forward to the next installment.

And you will find out why and how that happened in the next chapter
