She didn't mention that for some reason unbeknownst to her, she looked forward to English even more than usual today with the knowledge that she would see her new-found friend.

When the teacher said to pull out their notes and something to write with, she retrieved no pencil nor pen, because she had left it at home. She tried to look like she had one and was writing in her notes as the teacher lectured. It was a feat a bit more easily done due to her rear position in the classroom, furthest away from where the teacher stood and taught. She almost blushed at the thought of how stupid it probably made her seem to Adam.

(yeah i guess the teachers a girl lol idk) He takes this as a chance to just doodle in his notebook.
