Because I noticed that it hasn't been posted yet, here's some English screenshots.

And here's an English gameplay trailer:

And here's the English intro movie of the game:

Yeah, probably gonna see if I can pre-order this tomorrow when I go out to get my copy of Xenoblade Chronicles.

Curious and curiouser. I think that intro made me like this a tad more. Still iffy as to whether I'd get this or not.

For those Australian visitors, a release date for the upcoming game: Pokemon Conquest has been revealed. The press releease confirms that it doesn't keep the Japanese name as a rating previously said. This game is due to come in Australia on June 21st, three days after the American launch. Next month? Both excited and annoyed that I've got to come up with cash for something so soon. Would have pre-ordered it while I was out today had I known this. ^^;

Anyway, haven't been posting in here much but since I last posted I have to say that I'm hella hyped for this game. Just about all of my want right now. All the warlords look so cool~

Guess I'll head down to the store later today and put down a 20 towards it.

The first password for Pokémon Conquest's US release has been revealed. This password will unlock a swarm of Eevee to appear throughout the region of Ransei. Eevee is hard to find normally so it's a very useful password. This password was given in the new issue of Nintendo Power in America and is 2rz3XFCKmR. We'll bring more passwords as and when they come

Well that's a great password if I want Eevees, but I've never been a huge fan of them. |P

Guess it'd make it easy to get all of the evolved forms though.

Sorry 'bout the double post and the bump, but I'm wondering if anyone else here actually picked this game up?

I've been playing it on and off since picking it up last Thursday. Taken some getting used to but it's a pretty fun game if not a little slow paced at times. Between battles I'll often have lulls of not doing much since I'm building up my army some to challenge the next kingdom. The ones I'm up to are pretty tricky so I'm finding it's something I have to do rather than an optional thing. You can delegate tasks to warriors in kingdoms you're (as in the player character) not in so luckily it's not too much of a hassle. Things just take care of themselves for the most part. Though of course you'll generally get better results with finding the right Pokémon for each warrior if you do it yourself.

I'm finding I have more of a recruit 'em all mentality in this game where I look at getting the warriors I want rather than the Pokémon I can link with in the wild. I was waiting for Yukimura to show up FOREVER. Glad he finally did. Now to just have him and his partner train some before bringing them into my main army.

Speaking of, Evolution is odd. There's no real indication of whether you're close to evolving a Pokémon or not. Had to look it up to find out it's based on a certain stat's level from Pokémon to Pokémon in most cases. Which basically boils down to improving the link between a Warrior and their Pokémon anyway. So fairly simple... I guess.

Anyway, yeah, it's fun. If I had to compare it to another game I'd say it feels similar to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance in terms of gameplay. At least out of the strategy games I've played. Also I happen to love the art style.

Wow really? Figured all us english speaking countries would of got it around the same time.

I'm pretty sure you'll be glad to hear that Eevee is OP as. Well not OP, but it and all of its evolved forms have the best possible movement range (short of being able to fly or levitate) and just about all of them have extremely handy moves. Not sure whether to be annoyed by that or glad I've got one on my side.

I went with an Umbreon on the end. I needed a decent dark-type in my army and Umbreon is just plain awesome.
