Posts: 3,252 Group: =SB= Kings Member #9,868 Joined: March 28, 2009	Well, this is by far the least thing anybody was expecting from a new pokemon game, but it does look awesome. Plus I get a staring role. Serebii Dengeki Online has revealed a brand new Pokémon game for release next year. This game Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition (ポケモン　プラス　ノブナガの野望　) is due for release in Japan in Spring 2012 on Nintendo DS. Not much is known about this game yet but it appears to be an RPG game, similar to the Nobunaga Ambition games set in old Japan which are Turn-Based Strategy RPGs and labelled as a simulation. This game is a crossover between Pokémon and Nobunaga Ambition where you have to take over Japan gradually, but how Pokémon ties in, is not yet known. Details are being added as we speak. This game is set within the Ranse Region Edit @ 03:03; More details have come in from the official site and will be added here as we translate them. At the moment, all we have are character names; Like the main games, you can select either a male or female heroine. They both start with Eevee Nobunaga is the main warlord who has Zekrom as his partner Oichi is a character who helps you in the game, paired with Jigglypuff Mitsuhude is a character teamed with Articuno Shingen is a character teamed with Groudon Kenshin is a character teamed with Mewtwo More information is promised in January, indicating it'll be in CoroCoro and possibly be the game CoroCoro revealed Edited by Cee Jay Haych, Apr 26 2012, 06:44 AM.

[Outrealm Vagabond] Posts: 4,994 Group: C Rank Legend Member #11,272 Joined: July 25, 2010	Not entirely sure, but Nobunaga's Ambition looks like a strategy game made by Koei based on the Sengoku period of Japanese history. They also have a real time hack n' slash series called Samurai Warriors based on the same thing, and by the looks of things the designs of characters have been shared between the two. Samurai Warriors has been seen down here so I would hope that they'd at least consider bringing it out in places other than just Japan. But I guess nothing is certain for now. Kind of curious as to what Pokémon Yukimura will be paired up with in this. Guess we'll find out.

Also, if you're wondering what is Nobunaga's Ambition, please consult the TV Tropes page for the series here. Not exactly very detailed, but it should shed some light on what the series is about.

But it also helped that the gameplay looks awesomely strategic. Now all they need is a character with a Vulpix, I can't have Eevee hogging all the lime light.

Serebii Online retailer, Amazon, has published the official box art for Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition. This game is the game revealed last month which features Pokémon in a strategy RPG style of the Nobunaga's Ambition games. This boxart confirms that the game has Wi-Fi features. CoroCoro is expected with details this week. The first of which seem to be leaking with a potential release date of March 17th 2012, but this has yet to be confirmed.
