Chaos Emerald Posts: 691 Group: S Rank Knight Member #746 Joined: March 19, 2007	Zin Realm and Virus Realm Story Zin Realm One of the many myths of the Zaro Region, is that there is a mystical realm that is set upon these islands. Some call it an alternate universe, while others all it 'the other side.' This myth was written in the deep parts of the Tosin cave, the largest cave within this region. Most believe that it is just that, a myth. The detail of this realm is unknown, as well as its origin. All that was written about this realm, was the appearance of odd and weird creatures. Some people think that these odd and weird creatures were pokemon that humans haven't seen before. They didn't know where they came form so they made up a myth to explain these new pokemon's appearance. There are some scrolls and cave writing that describe these creatures as non-pokemon creatures. However, more scientist will speak of that being false. There is something lurking in the invisible shadows of Zaro. Strange events have been occurring around two of the islands; Fendus, the second largest island, and Slung, the S shaped island. Both of these islands seemed to be having the same strange events. As well, they were both cut off from the other two islands. A barrier of some kind has placed itself between the four islands. Even when traveling by sea, the barrier can not be breached. A few pokemon trainers have already tried, but nothing works. As well, all communication with the other two islands have been cut off. Little did they know, that the Gero and Ceri islands were going through their own troubles. ============== Virus Realm There is a myth that was recently discovered. A myth that talked about an electric with massive power. Supposedly it was said to give everlasting power to a device of some sort, and only this pokemon could be able to power this device. What this device did was unknown. Not to mention the whereabouts of this 'machine,' if it was in fact a machine. It was said to open something up. While venturing through the Sea Ground cave, a archaeologist managed to discover more of this myth, and what exactly it opened. When reports came in that she had found some clues, that part of the cave crumbled. Apparently she had vanished before that part of the cave came down. Her last and latest report spoke about a temple of some kind, and that she might have triggered something big. Those working with her tried to seek more answers to their questions by going over to the Fendus island. However, a barrier was placed before them. No one could cross over to the other two islands. As well, things started to happen, electrical currents were forming randomly, and more chaotic things started to spring. They lost all of their communications, and could only communicate to the other island, Ceri. A magnetic dome soon covered the two islands, and soon strange events began. If only they could reach out to the other two islands for help. Little did they know, that the Fendus and Slung islands were having troubles of their own. Zin Realm and Virus Realm Starting Points Zin Realm You'll be starting anywhere within the two Islands, Fendus or Slung.(Fendus is recommended.) No matter where you start off from, make your way to Rain Fall City. There are a few ways you can start off. -- Starting off 1 = You can already have pokemon and be a trainer. Which means you could be on your way to get a gym badge, just hanging, going through a forest, whatever. -- Starting off 2 = You can be a new trainer, meaning you may have two(maximum) pokemon to start off with but still need a pokedex and pokeballs, to which you'll be starting off in Forset Town -- Starting off 3 = You can be a gym leader, which means you'll either start in Rain Fall City, Basent City, Cebon City, or Toppos Major Town.(there can only be four) -- Starting off 4 = You can be one of the elite four, which means you'll start off in Cebon.(there can only be two) -- Starting off 5 = You can be a police officer, pokemon ranger, scientist, things of that nature. You can start anywhere you wish. =================== Virus Realm You'll be starting anywhere within the two Islands, Gero and Ceri.(Gero is recommended.) Zaro Region Maps Islands Cities(Red) and Major Towns(Blue) Towns(Purple) and Forests(Green) Caves(Brown) and Desert(Yellow) Rules and Info This is a three part series rp. However, the Zin Realm and Virus Real will be in two different rp topic. At one point a third rp will be made to combine the two of them. Rules - No god moding - Do not control another person's character or pokemon - Fakemon are allowed(bio sheet will be provided) - Up to six pokemon. New trainers will start off with two and then receive a third one once they reach the lab. - No legendary pokemon, period. - There is no set move list, but do not call out moves that don't fit your pokemon. A water pokemon can not do fire type moves, ect. - Do not rp as if your pokemon is the best and can dodge everything, that is god-moding. - Two characters per realm, meaning you can have two character in Virus Realm and Two in Zin Realm. - Status moves do not preform status effecting attacks. Meaning Tail Whip does damage. - Status moves can not paralyze, harden, weaken, cause to fall asleep, poison, ect.(For the sake of the rp and smooth playing) - Pokemon battles are handle like regular rp fights. -- Pokemon battles will be like how the anime is, meaning calling out a goldeen wont be swimming around on land, it'll be hopping everywhere. - Follw the pokemon types when fighting. Meaning if fire is weak against water, then a fire type has a high chance of losing to a water type. This also depends on the character's role and pokemon. Name: Linda Gender: Female Age: 16 Rank: Trainer Personality: Linda is fairly smart for her age, and loves to take on new challenges. However, she is more of a calm and relaxed type of girl. She is flirty mostly, and really doesn't anger easily. She pushes her self like her big sister, just on a more calm and respectable way. She has learned a lot from her father. She likes swimming, but enjoys strolling through open fields more. Appearance: Attire: See above Which Realm:Virus Brief History: Linda is the younger sister of Selena, one of the pokemon gym leaders on Fendus Island. Linda grew up with her family, travel everywhere and all over the place. After she got word that Selene became a pokemon ranger, Linda decided that she wanted to follow in her sister's footsteps, so to speak. She wanted to become a pokemon trainer and meet new people, explore the places she visited and train hard. But first, she needed a pokemon. Her sister came to visit her and her father one day, but she was called out to help save some pokemon. Linda begged for her sister to take her, so she did, knowing that Linda was a great swimmer and that they needed as much help as they can get. This little adventure lead them inside a cave, which is where they spotted a Dunsparce. Linda asked her bigger sister if she could try catching this Dunsparce. Selen agreed and let Linda use her Croconaw and a few poke balls. After a short while, Linda caught the Dunsparce and their family celebrated. After that, her father became ill, to which she had to help run the ship with her mother. She didn't have too much time to train her pokemon, or even go out and try to catch other pokemon. Her father didn't seem to get better, nor was he getting worse. Later on, her family go word that Selen became a gym leader in Mugen. This news pushed Linda to want to become a trainer more. However, she still had to run the ship since her father was still ill. Time went on, and a guy who was also a pokemon ranger, and also had a crush on Selen, agreed to help Linda and her mother. Of course, since he liked Selen, he had a team of his help out as well, which allowed for Linda and her mother to do whatever they needed to do. Linda and her mother spent that rest of their time taking care of her father. Soon, he got better, and was on his feet again. He then resumed his role as captain, but still agreed to keep the help that was offered to him. This allowed Linda to finally fulfill her dreams, and start her journey as pokemon trainer. Selen's boyfriend gave Linda a Shellder he caught recently. After that, she caught her first pokemon, which was a Numel. She now ventures to the Gero Island, and is ready to train hard in order to face her sister, and hopefully beat her. Team: Shellder Numel Dunsparce ========================== Name: Selen Wavelow Gender: Female Age: 27 Rank: Gym Leader/Pokemon Ranger Personality: Selen is mysterious, at first met. She only allows her true personality to show when she is swimming, and when she is battling. She is too bubble for her own good, but dislikes losing with a passion. She is very hard on herself when it comes to swimming and battling, and almost everything else. She dislikes rodents,(more like she is afraid of them) and may over do it when facing off any pokemon that is a rodent type,(this will mainly happen for rattata's and raticate's.) Appearance: Attire: See above Which Realm:Zin Brief History: As a young girl, Selen traveled a lot because her father was a captain. He would take his whole family on a number of trips to all of the islands and regions. This small family of four started in Kanto, where Selen received her very first pokemon, Squirtle. Her and Squirtle swam everyday, racing back and forth or simply just having fun. She was determined to train hard and be the best swimmer in every region, as well, her Squirtle had the same desire. She obtained Squirtle thanks to her uncle who breeds pokemon for a living. Soon, swimming races and competitions was what she began to focus on. Her and her best friend squirtle won a lot of races, and in the beginning she would lose a few. However, she kept training, and finally came on top all the time. She then won a pokemon egg, which turned out to hatch into a Totodile right in the winners circle. Even though She was winning her races, she wanted to do more then just race. She then signed up to be a Pokemon Ranger, wanting to save pokemon in and help out, focusing on water troubles of course. One day during their harsh training with her two evolved pokemon, a Goldduck spotted them and saw how hard they trained. It decided to join them, leaving them once their training was done, only to wait for them the next day. When Selen was moving away from that area, the Goldduck decided to go with them, and became part of her crew. After that, Selen became a Ranger, and saved countless pokemon lives. However, one day during a harsh storm, Selen and her crew were tossed overboard. Lucky for them, a Tentacruel that she had saved a few days back followed them, and a saved her and her crew. The Tentacruel joined Selen as it too wanted to be a guarding of these seas. From there, Selen met a guy who was also a ranger, and had a bit of a crush on her. His father was a gym leader in a region called Zaro, which he also made clear that his father was the best swimmer in every region. Hearing this, Selen went to go see if this was true. Turns out he was the best swimmer, only Selen beat him. Once she beat him, he passed down his Poliwrath, telling her this Poliwrath is only loyal to those that can beat it and it's master in a swimming contest. He also made her the gym leader, as he was much too old and his son refused to take the role of a gym leader. After that, Selen focused on becoming a pokemon trainer, to which she caught her first pokemon on her own, Lanturn. She then became the toughest water gym leader. She still goes out and does some ranger work every now and then, seeing as pokemone trainers don't come flocking to her gym on a norm. She makes total sense to herself, and doesn't really understand why people don't do things her way. Despite this, she is a very confident and successful Trainer. Appearance: Which Realm:Zin Brief History: Anna was once a resident of Mossdeep City, in Hoenn, but her parents moved to Gero when she was quite young, and she never forgave them for this. She might have been bullied for her odd personality and Space Cadet behaviour, if not for the fact that she had a Spoink that would never leave her side. She seemed destined to become a Pokemon Trainer, and with help from her cousin Vera, she set off. She was a very successful Trainer, becoming a Gym Leader for a brief period before joining the Elite Four. They are most commonly seen in water or in hot places like deserts. They can sometimes be found in caves because of the mix environment of land and water in the same area. They slither like snakes and swim like fish. They use the gils on it's side to breath both water and air. They are generally calm pokemon. Some say they have no feelings at all and simply do what they must to reach their goal. They aren't the mingling type, and they can become hostile without warning. They are blind in a sense. Their gills take in air around them, allowing them to smell. The visor looking part on their face serves as their radar for their sight. The firm jelly-like substance on their back picks up every sound, in water and on land. When people speak to it the jelly substance will move and slightly form according to the speed and tone of their speech. The two whiskers help balance itself when slithering on land or when swimming. They don't swarm or swim in schools like the Termina. In fact, only two to three Repina will be among or around a group of Termina. They are in a sense the leaders of the school or pack. They are also the protectors of the Termina and guard them hostility. Coming near a group of Termina might not be such a good idea. The Repina are quick to attack anyone that comes to close to their group. Evolutionary Data: Evolved from Termina at level 24. Evolves into Oleeina or Fanian using a fire stone or water stone at level 34 or above. They aren't as aggressive as Repina and Fanian. They are calm and collective pokemon that likes to take their time and stay out of sight. However, they wont run from people or other pokemon, but they'll most likely ignore them. Evolutionary Data: Evolves from Repina at level 38 or above with water stone. They Leave large holes in the ground when they dig. They'll even travel underground if needed. Like Oleeinas they are loners, but they are more willing to roam around in groups of threes more then Oleeinas. Fanian's are aggressive. They aren't laid back like Oleeinas and Terminas. They will attack anyone that comes their way, friendly or not. Approaching them in friendship is very hard to do. However, if they see other pokemon and people first, they will not attack. They will however stand their ground and wait to see if said person or pokemon is coming towards them or not. Evolutionary Data: Evolves from Repina at level 38 or above with fire stone. After upon his first adventure in , he was able to find a balance between his fast-pace life style brought up by his parkoring childhood and slowing down to take in the scenery with the occasional stroll. Appearance: Light brown with short jet black hair. Attire: Black sleeveless shirt and long pants. Black scarf with a couple white stripes. Which Realm: Virus Brief History: Unlike most youngsters who go off on their Pokemon journeys in their early teens, John continued through with his education. One of his family trips took him to a snowy mountain area where John found an abandoned egg in a nest of hatched egg shells and eventually hatching his first Pokemon, a Sneasel. During his extended time in school he's learned how to parkcore, leading to a few run ins with Officer Jenny. This eventually led to him doing community service along side the law mainly when chasing was involved. John ended up working a month longer after fulfilling this community service and and received a Mudkip in thanks from the Professor and the law of the town. After graduating he still unsure to what he wanted in his life. Despite spending some community service with the law, he didn't find himself having fun with the job. College was also a possibility, however he made up his mind to go on his adventure and be considered a Pokemon Trainer. Along that adventure he caught two additional Pokemon. Name: Galdar Gender: Male Age: 25 Rank: Gym Leader (Rock type) Personality: Galdar tries to be nice to everyone, human or not. He is quiet and slow to warm up to people but when he does he remains loyal to them in almost any situation. Being one of the newer and more inexperienced gym leaders, Galdar isn�t very confident in his actions and gets nervous when challengers arrive. Because of this challengers often view him as a push over. Appearance: 6 ft. tall, average build, light brown hair, brown eyes, and nothing distinguishing on his face. Attire: He wears a plain white t-shirt with a dark green vest over top, brown cargo pants, steel toed boots, and a black tuke with a dark yellow stripe on his head. Realm: Zin History: Galdar has aspired to be a gym leader from a young age, and has loved rock type pokemon from a young age. He noticed that most regions have a rock type gym and almost all of those gym leaders were low ranking among their region. Galdar wanted to change that and be a powerful rock type leader like no one had ever seen before. So as soon as he was old enough he captured his first pokemon, a Shuckle. Like most trainers he went on a journey across his homeland and befriended several other pokemon, one of his policy�s is that he will never take a pokemon from its home if it doesn't want to leave, therefore he has a very close bond with all of his pokemon. He didn�t make it spectacularily far in his journey and doesn�t talk about it much but if asked he will tell straight out how far he did go. At the age of 20 he took the gym leader exam for the first time, failing. He continued to take the test annually until he finally passed on his fifth try at the age of 25. His gym is based in Toppos and unlike most rock leaders he does not specialize solely in defense, but also offense having several heavy hitters with him such as his Tyranitar, Archeops, and Rhyperior. He was born in the mountains of Johto near Cianwood city and learnt some of his battling skills under the gym leader Chuck. He typically has his Shuckle cling to his back and will even go so far as to store his stuff in its shell as if it were a backpack. He has named every pokemon he has caught because he thinks calling them by their species name isn�t a way to treat his friends.
