Just freaking epic issue, this is going down as one of my all-time favourites. The Babylons have run into the Battle Bird Armada, who are out to acquire the Babylons' freshly-recovered toy for themselves.

Spoilers for #34!

I've placed my thoughts in spoilers in case anybody else is planning on reading it. But yeah, awesome reading material and I will be happily enjoying this at least until 231 comes out.

I love the Archie comics. I have subscriptions to both of their Sonic series lol. I was really glad to see them bring back Jet the Hawk again. And Tracy Yardley is awesome for both penciling AND writing the script for the story.

Amusingly, I kinda "discovered" that Yardley has a Deviantart account yesterday! It made my day seeing all that fantastic art in that gallery...
Regarding #34, you gotta admit - someone's definitely enjoying taking a creative lead with this comic. Until you mentioned it, I didn't realise Yardley was responsible for script and pencils - must be why I'm enjoying it so much!

Get the Archives graphic novels.. you can find them right on Archies site. It starts from the original mini series and goes into the regular ongoing series. You can also get the Sonic Super Special and Knuckles comic in graphic novels. They havent put all of the issues into graphic novels yet but its a start

You can also be a lil naughty and find scans online or torrent them. For Universe, each arc is only 4 issues so you can jump on board at any point really, so long as it's 1, 5, 9, 13 etc. The current arc is a bloody good one.
As for the main Archie series, they had the big "reboot" in 225, and 230 introduces a new arc to bring the Genesis plot to a conclusion. Before 225, Geoffrey St. John and Naugus came to claim the throne for themselves, and before that was a few "filler" episodes, such as Sonic and Bunnie wrecking an oil refinery and Rotor saving his family.

If you want a good point to jump on in with regards to purchasing legally, then now's the best chance you're gonna get for a few months. Also consider the fact that 230 might well still be available in shops for a good month or two yet. And if you somehow do acquire the back issues, then if it helps I haven't read anything before #125 so you're not missing too much... xD
