The dark pink/purple however for normal text and some boxes should perhaps use a different color though. Sticks out too much for me. But other then that, I love it and am currently using it.

Well you're used to a 98% black skin with dark red highlights, anything brighter will need getting used to even the default skin. Although I've noticed I don't have too much trouble transitioning to the winter one (I know last year I really enjoyed the Christmas theme and it didn't bother my eyes too much). I think for the most part the massive amount of green was what was jarring to me and just made me want to switch back. The rest of it looked great.
