Show...Off Posts: 4,912 Group: Former Monarchs Member #70 Joined: May 12, 2006	I thought the movie was good. I saw it with my girlfriend and mom ( ) and they both liked it. The show was pretty much sold out when we saw it last night. Ended up in the front row. .__.

But I'm saying that the movie felt kind of rushed if you've read the book. Spoiler: click to toggle Haymitch' tip to Katniss was to find water immediately. In the movie, she found it right after the fire attack. In the book, she had a lot of trouble finding it and almost died of dehydration. I think that's one of the minor things that could be better. But nevertheless, I still enjoyed the movie. Wha? Maybe there's better examples you can list, but that's why you're degrading it? ._____. Spoiler: click to toggle Like okay, would the movie be that much better if you see her hunting for water for thirty more minutes? That woulda been kinda boring in my opinion. I agree with 100% with Chibitalia. They cut this stuff out for the sake of making it a movie and more fun to watch. But maybe there's better examples that can prove me wrong(Just got the book, not done reading it yet).

It just feels incomplete if you've read the book. I get the fact that books are most likely to be better than the movie, but in my opinion it could be much better. Spoiler: click to toggle It was just a simple example. Not the water alone, but some facts in the book where completely ignored and the book made it seem like they where important. Such as water, to survive. The Cornucopia is stated to be gold in the book, which is silver in the movie. It's just stuff I don't get they changed or left out. If you've read the book, you'd might understand. Can't think of anything else atm.
