But if you liked the first book then I have a feeling you'll like the second. Or at least, enjoy the Quarter Quell in it.

Well, it seems like the critics are eating it up, and it's been said that it carries the idea of the book well, so that might just be a great sign~

Break out the L-word. The other L-word.
So I saw this earlier today, and I gotta say it's a lot better than I thought it would be. There's a lot of parts in the book that I didn't quite understand as to how they would transfer it over to a movie, but they did it excellently. Of course, having read the book, there were plenty of parts where I make a mental note of, "oh, they didn't include that," or "oh, they changed that," but compared to something like Harry Potter or other book-movies, they really stayed true to the style and story of the book. Now I just can't wait to see Catching Fire.

I don't even keep track of these things anymore
I went to go see it, so yeah.
I cried when rue died and even when kato did.
Some parts were too different from the book, which really annoyed me, but all in all it was good.

Please keep spoilers hidden; thank you~

Alright, well, I watched the movie last night. All I can say... it was amazing. I haven't read the book yet, but I already ordered it and am waiting anxiously for it, but as a movie, it's definitely by far the best so far this year.

I mean seriously, the movie kept me on edge the entire time. They were so many times when I thought 'Oh my god, oh my god, Katniss is gonna die' and they were so many tragic things like Rue. People say some areas were a bit rushed compared to the book, but honestly, people need to realize that it's probably for obvious movie reasons.

tl;dr I recommend to everybody. It's amazing.

@Nero: It's Cato actually. He's the guy

Guys, try to keep things in spoiler tags as well. There could still be people who haven't watched the movie yet. :V

I intended on catching it Friday night but couldn't. I may still have to wait a little longer to go see it, but I don't intend on missing out on the action for a week longer. ^.^

I disagree with those people. I think the move accurately followed the pace of the book.
