Death Egg Act 1
|
A young, beautiful girl is crying in the corner of her room. Drops of agony and depression continue to fall from her eyes as if they were a waterfall. She wrapped her long, silk, full length hair around herself and her shoulders for warmth. As if that's the only warmth she will receive. Her black and white ringed raccoon slowly crept towards her, showing his own affection. The girl smiled softly and picked him up as she petted him softly. 'Don't worry, Oreca. I'm sure things will change with us...somehow...' ~~~ It was a dark and stormy night, right in the middle of the streets. This town wasn't as happy as it usually was. There were many incidents such as suicide, murders, and much more of the sort. It seemed that this town is never safe as it used to be. Before, it was a gracious as it was beautiful. There used to be many friendly people, great stories, clean environment, almost a perfect place to be in. And that all happened when the founder of the town had owned it. The citizens loved her. They volunteered for most of her ideas to improve the city, they part taken in many events, they would do anything for her. Until she was married. The founder believed she had met quite a perfect man to be with for the rest of her life. Unfortunately, she had caught an unknown illness. The only way it could be cured is with a powerful blue belled flower to make an elixir with. Fortunately, she lived and a few months later, their newborn arrived. The couple was quite puzzled at the baby for having...blue hair. Although, she was a special little one. They had named her, Arabelle A year later, the founder had heard many rumors about her husband cheating with a streetwalker. She was so devastated, the night when he came home, she sneaked behind him and drove a dagger through his heart. This time, it was like she had snapped. She panicked and did not know what to do with the body. Unless she tossed him into a lake. During her drive with Arabelle and the body, she pressed her breaks. However, there was a slight problem. They were stuck. She was frantically stomping on the breaks repeatedly until the car drove though the lake until it sank. The woman's screams of help were never heard until they ceased, leaving her sunken with the body. Amazingly, Arabelle was still alive in its passenger basket. Her cries can be heard by a cloaked citizen nearby. The person trudged through the mud to take a look in the basket washed ashore. As the person pulled the blanket off, the precious, soft skinned baby continued to cry until she looked up. The person smiled as she picked up the baby and made a soft shushing sound as she took her away. ~~~ After the police officials found the founder's body and her husband's, the town's devastation then turned into madness by changing their attitudes and practically trashed the town, and harmed others. A few years later, This blue haired girl had lived with this woman for years after she was rescued. Mother Magena took very much care for her, and even found out about this special 'gift' from her. Her hair can glow whenever she sings a special song and can heal anyone. It can even make people become young for a while. However, Magena warned Arabelle about the dangers of the world now. There were pickpockets, gangbangers, etc. In order to keep her safe from harm, they lived in a tall abandoned building near the forest. Not a single person could find it, since it was well hidden. Although, Arabelle, or Ara, had dreamed so much about the outside world. She wondered if they danced and sang like she does, go on television to do crazy, fun things, hang out with friends, went shopping, any of those things. Even experienced love before. She read up on many different events happening in the past times of the world and had painted them on the walls for more inspiration. She even used to long, long hair for many things like swinging from rails and bars like in those jungle movies. But she was tired of dreaming and sitting. It was a time for doing. And so she had promised herself that she will escape and learn more to be part of the world. (My dear god!! Finally finished!! I really hope this is good enough...I would have put more thought into it though.... )

In the town where many folks would be in groups and stand at the corner of the streets with weapons in hand, one fellow by the name of Akira, had witnessed the destruction of the town, just like the beautiful female with long, silk hair did. That was his main objective, however. He wanted her hair, the hair that he could use for his own personal use to help restore his mother to her young age. Though, it was a selfish desire, Akira couldn't possibly force the young female to hand over her hair. So, what was his plan? He was going to take her from wherever she was, and bring her to her mother so she could sing, of course. It was not in his nature to force someone to do something they were unwilling to do. Despite his soft, fragile nature, and tranquility, the young nineteen year old was very athletic, and very strong. Why, he could beat five armed thugs in under a minute with his jaw-dropping agility, and that's something he'd been doing all his life, since he was a well-known thief in this tragic city. "Oh, how much I hate this city..." he mumbled to himself, walking through the empty street with a bag of goods over his right shoulder. "How any one could ever think of living here is beyond me...it's-" Just then, a group of armed thugs, standing on the other end of the street, called his name. "Akira!" one shouted, catching his attention and causing him to pause. "Whose callin-...great...they found me..." he muttered, and sighed. The boy stared at the group of thugs for a long period of time, and, in the blink of an eye, took off like a five year old child running for his life. "Oh, no he don't! I need that necklace back!" The five seperated into slight even groups; three going in Akira's route, and the other two trying to catch him off guard. The boy breathed heavily as he ran down the sidewalk and past the other gangs, attracting even more attention than what was needed. Evading the obstacles in front of him, he managed to slip, causing the bag to roll across the dull concrete. "Gah.." he groaned, looking down at his hand, which had a small scar over it. "...That...was-" The sound of a giant, fat man falling on his feet caught Akira's attention, startling him enough to jump to his feet. "This bag here is mines," said the big guy, smirking at Akira, daring him to try and strike, or even take the bag. "Fine," Akira agreed in a nonchalant tone, and a simply shrug, almost confusing the big guy. "Oh, by the way, your shoe lace is untied..." The big guy laughed, setting the bag over his left shoulder, and closing his eye as he rested his fist against the fat on his hip. "What a funny joke, you really expect me to believe that?...." The big guy opened his eyes, looked over at his left hand, and almost had a heart attack. "What the-!?" he almost cursed, turning his body, and scanning his surroundings for the bag. "Hey *pant* did you catch 'em?" asked one of the thugs as he nearly collapsed from all the running. "...Gaah...I did...he got the bag though..." He lowered his head in shame, and let out a deep sigh. "...You big idiot!" Insulted the smaller worker, standing to his feet in annoyance. "How the hell did he manage to do that!?" Unable to speak like a child silenced by their mother, he shrugged as he stared down at the concrete. "Idiot... keep searching guys! He couldn't have gotten far!" "Sucker..." Akira joked, shaking his head as he made his way into the forest, freezing up as he studied the environment around him. "Wait...which ways back to the city...?" he asked himself, setting the bag over his shoulder, and catching a breather before he would walk again. "Probably best I just rest for now, I'm sure none of those clowns would come this far..." But, oh, was he wrong. "He's probably in here! Check!" one of the members commanded, not too far away from Akira. Frightened once more, Akira stumbled to his feet, running into a tree, rolling through a shrub, and tripping over a log, before he could get the hell out of there. Looking around himself, he began to take some steps backwards, tripping as he'd almost gotten tangled in long plants that hanged over the cave. Regaining his balance, he turned and began running, but soon came to a stop as he couldn't believe his eyes. "What...is...this...place?..." he asked himself, looking at the large tower, the peaceful waterfall, the animated frog that croaked each second while sitting calmly over his throne, the rock. While examining the large building, he could hear the group talking, directly in front of the stems he'd fallen through. "Nyah!" he panicked, running forward, almost about a mile, to the tower. Stopping at the tower, he tied the small bag, bit it and held it securely with his mouth, then began climbing the stones, wasting no time, and not looking back. It took almost ten minutes before he reached the window seal, and fell in, the bag laying next to his head as he tried to catch a breath. He stood to his feet, and turned his head, looking back down to make sure the coast was clear -which was-, and then smirked as he turned, unable to defend himself to what was about to happen next. |

Death Egg Act 1
|
Arabelle sat in her rocking chair, sighing and combing her hair gently. She sang to herself softly, causing her hair to glow. Oreca, her pet raccoon she found hanging around her window seal crawled close to her feet and snuggled against her, purring softly like kitten. She kept humming and gently began to pet him until she heard a few men yelling. "Hm? What's going on?" she asked herself, getting up from the chair and looked out the window. She saw something she could not believe. A man is down below, beginning to climb the tower! "Aah!" She screamed but immediately covered her mouth. "Oh my gosh...how did he find this place?" she said. "...he might be one of those thieves...." Arabella looked around the room for traces of a weapon. She found a frying pan and shrugged, saying "This'll do." She sneaked behind a wardrobe and waited for the man to enter. Once he was inside, Arabella was being too anxious to ask who or WHAT he is. She took a slowly deep breath, sneaked behind him and whacked him behind his head with the pan. "Aahh!" She screamed again and hid behind the wardrobe again. |

As he turned, Akira's vision was obscured by what seemed to be a black pan. He tried to duck, but couldn't manage to in time. When the pan slapped him in the face, he just stood there for a moment, a silly expression on his face; his tongue sticking out from his mouth, and his pupils looking in separate directions. In just a matter of seconds, the boy fell onto the floor, completely unconscious from God's gift to the female: the frying pan. Akira was completely unconscious, and it was easy to tell just from looking at the boy. The group that had been chasing Akira had given up, and their way back to the city, and continued on with whatever the hell they usually did each and every day. Either that be robbing, or just talking to each other at a corner. |

Arabelle slowly stepped away from the wardrobe and cautiously stepped toward it. "Uhh..." she muttered, pointing the handle part of the pan at him. She looked down at Oreca. He shrugged. She looked right back at him and poked twice. "Huh..." She used the handle of the pan to brush some of his hair away from his face. "....He doesn't look like a bad person...can he...?" she asked Oreca who climbed onto her back. She took a few more steps toward him and got onto her knees near him, holding the pan firm and secure in her hand. |

As the girl approached, Akira was coming back into consciousness, and he began to groan as his eyes slowly opened. What hit me...? he thought, looking around himself without lifting his head, and noticing the same metallic, black pan in front of his face. What is that.... he muttered to himself, now trying to get to his feet as he had awoken once more. Whatever that heck that is...it hurt like heck... He turned his face back to the pan, his vision still blurry, as he tried to sit up off his stomach. |

Death Egg Act 1

"No!" Arabelle gasped and whacked him once again with full force. Suddenly, she had a brilliant idea. To prove that she is able to take care of herself, she can show this man to Mother Magena and maybe she will let her see the outside world! Arabell grinned very happily and placed the pan down on a table. She picked up the man from behind and grunted saying, "Geeze he's really heavy. Where can I..." She gasped and had the idea to hide him in the wardrobe. She opened the door and pushed him inside. Before she could leave it alone, it opened and fell on top of her. "Ow! Ughh...this is going to be tough..." she groaned and pushed him off. She wrapped her hair around his stomach, gripped her hair tightly and swung him around to aim it into the closet. Unfortunately, she missed and hit the wall. For a few seconds she stared at him and tried to think for a bit. She picked up a broom, leaned him against the closet and tried to stuff him in there. And then...success! "Whew! Bout time!" Arabelle grinned but gasped when his fingers were poked out between the doors. She hesitantly poked them back in and grabbed a chair to pull under the handles. "This is great! Now I can show mother what I can do!" she laughed excitedly, twirling her pan until it hit her forehead. "Ugghh..." she groaned and rubbed the spot. As she looked down, she noticed a brown bag on the floor. "Hmm...?" She leaned down and picked it up, taking out a beautiful looking necklace. "What...is this...?" Arabelle placed it onto her arm, but quickly caught it before it could fall. "Woops! Hehe" she giggled while Oreca rolled his eyes. She placed it on her head and shrugged. Oreca shook his head again. "This is strange..." She stared at it for a bit until she noticed the chain. "What if..." she wrapped it around her neck and clasped the chain. She stared at herself in the mirror, astonished at how it's beautiful shine and gems. Oreca had his mouth wide open, but shook his head no. ~~~ "Arabeeellleee!~" A feminine voice called. "Oh! She's here!" Arabelle squealed excitedly, took off the necklace, placed it into the bag and hid it into the pot. "Let down your haaair!~" it called again. "Okay mother!" She tossed her hair over a rail above her as it fell all the way down the tower. Magena grabbed it and held it tightly, as Arabelle pulled her up. "Hello, mother! I have something important I want to--" but she was cut off."Hello Ari! I've brought some food for dinner and I bet you're starving as a horse!" Magena grinned. "Yes, well, remember when you said I'm not allowed to leave home and when I can't protect myself?" Arabelle asked. Magena laughed and placed her basket of food. "Oh, sweetie, I just know you cannot protect yourself out there." she said. "But, I have something great to show you! I--"Arabelle went over to the closet and tried to grab the chair. "Ari, we are done talking about this." "But Mom, I--" "Ari, stop it." "But if you just--" "ENOUGH, ARABELLE! YOU ARE NOT LEAVING THIS TOWER! EVER!!!" Arabelle gasped and slowly stopped, speechless. Magena groaned and sat on the chair. "Great..." she muttered. Arabelle stared at her paintings for a bit from her dreams. She sighed softly and said, "Mother...all I wanted to say was...could you...get new paint colors you gave me before I began to paint...?" Magena sighed, frustrated. "Arabelle, you know I bought those about some miles away from here. It would take a while to get there on foot." Arabelle twisted part of her hair and said, "I just thought it would...be better than leaving the tower..." Magena slowly stood up and walked over to her child. "Are you sure you'll be alright on your own...?" Arabelle hugged her tightly. "I know I'll be safe as long as I'm here..." ~~~ After Magena packed money, food, and other supplies for the trip. "I'll be back within a few days." She reminded her. "Okay. Be careful. I love you mother..." Arabelle said, giving her one more hug before she departed. "I love you the most, dear..." Magena waved her goodbye before she left the hideaway. Arabelle turned to the closet and huffed. "Great...now what am I going to do with it...?" she muttered while taking the chair off of the closet and opened the door. She watched it slowly fall out of the closet like a dead body. ~~~ Arabelle swung her hair at the roof top window and opened it. She wrapped her hair around the man's body as he was placed onto the chair. Oreca slowly climbed around his shoulder and sneered at it. He smacked his cheek with his tiny paws and quickly hid himself with his bushy tail. If that did not work, Oreca squinted his eyes and quickly shot his slimy tongue in his ear to wake him up. BAM! Once more, Akira had fallen into an unconscious state yet again, and lied there as the female began throwing his body against something that felt like a wall. Whatever it was, he hit it pretty hard. "Ugh..." he groaned, shaking his head and then opening his eyes as he felt something slimy, small, and wet inside his left ear. His eyes darted towards the raccoon, and he panicked, scaring the little creature off. Trying to raise his hands, he slowly lowered his head, looking down at what appeared to be blue, long, silk hair. "What...is this?..." he asked himself in a low tone, following the trail which led all around the room, until he managed to spot the girl, who seemed to be about a year younger than him, almost. He stared at the female, who was heavily armed with the deadly frying pan which was used to whack him out of consciousness two times already. Now, he waited for the girl to speak, because, of course, he was unable to. Not because he was being choked, but because he'd never seen such long hair, hair that could kill a person. Then, in his mind, he remembered what was needed. The hair, he thought, staring up at her, If I can cut off the hair from her, maybe I'll be able to get it back to my mother. Wait, no...she told me the ability only works if the hair is still intact with the girl...*sigh*. "...Wait...my bag..." he mumbled, looking around frantically before staring the girl back into the eye, completely forgetting the bag's existence. |

Oreca squealed and scampered away from Akira and hid under the table. Arabelle was hidden into the shadows, but she was still visible. "I...know why you're here. But...I'm not afraid of you..." she told him and slowly walked out of the shadows, showing her face become more visible. "Who..are you...? And how did you find me...?" she asked him. She noticed him still staring at her in her eyes. She frowned a bit more and asked once more but slowly. "Who ARE you...and how did you FIND me...?" She raised her pan near her head, warning him that he could whack him once more. |

Akira frowned slightly, and then raised his head a little bit as she raised the pan over his head. "Hey, hey," he called, a dab of sweat sliding down the side of his forehead as he stared at the dark, black, but crisp clean, frying pan. "I was running away from a group of thugs as all, ma'am...and all I want is to get out of your hair!" Then, the bag's existence made it's way back into Akira's head, causing him to look at his surroundings once more. "Wait, my bag, where is it!?..." He asked, frowning with a bit of worry, but also annoyance. The bag meant more than anything to Akira, even more than her hair, which he could care less about now. His mother, sadly, would have to wait. The only thing important right now was getting out of the girl's hair, and getting his bag back. |

"Ha! Yeah, right! You must be part of their group aren't you?" Arabelle folded her arms and raised her eyebrows. When she saw him panic a little about his lost bag, she smirked a bit, feeling all tough and brave, and said, "I've hidden it. Somewhere, you can never find it..." |

He blinked in disbelief at her statement. Me? With those guys?...I think not! he thought, then slanted his eyes at her as she tried to put on a big macho look. He blinked a couple of times, and then turned his head, looking at the pot. "It's in the pot, isn't it?" he asked in a nonchalant tone, his eyes on the pot with a tranquil expression on his face. |

Arabelle gasped, frowned a bit and then almost instantly, whacked him again! If he woke up, he would have Oreca's tongue back into his ears. Arabelle smirked again and said, "NOW it's hidden where you'll never find it." She slowly began to walk around him, tossing her hair back and forth. "Soo...what DO you want to do with my hair...? To..CUT it...?" She asked, pointing the pan at him again. "SELL it...?!" |

Slowly, as he woke back up, he looked to the left of his shoulder, and shrieked. "Gah, will you stop doing that!?" he complained, shaking the raccoon off once more. His eyes moved back to the female as she began speaking to him, stating that it was hidden in a spot where he'd never find it. Then, the accusations began. What do you want with my hair...? To... CUT it...? His head moved back as the pan neared his face, but he soon lowered his defense and responded, "What?...No! All I want to do is get out of it. That's it!" The answer he'd given was true, and nothing but true, and, if lucky, maybe she'd understand that. |
