For me it has to be fighting Metal Sonic on the Stardust Speedway, but only with the US Version Bad Future music. It feels far too epic. It would have been nice to have the original music and not a remixed version, the original's so much better.

The intro and outro cutscenes were nice and well put together. I haven't unlocked the Stardust Speedway music yet, can't wait to do that!

The race against Metal Sonic is my favorite part of Sonic CD (also my favorite Sonic game) and seeing a new version of it in glorious HD 3D graphics with a remix of the awesome music (Always preferred the JP version, in both CD and Generations) was just amazing for me. Sadly, it was also a bit short I agree.
