I suppose you do have a point that they don't have much activity in them though so it's not like there will be many topics to get lost in. I'm still a little iffy about the idea though. I mean the Starpost Game Zone is getting plenty of activity right now thanks to Generations. And honestly having the one thread for it isn't all that bad. But suppose you were to make serveral topics for the one game. Any idea what they would be split up into?

As often it's hard to keep track of a game when it's been discussed for months, and accidentally you haven't perked up enough attention to it, until the actual release. But hey that's me. Not one who goes around rambling about small details as screenshots and new videos. Not in any huge proposition at least.

Generations might be able to just get away with it, but I'm not sure about the latest Mario & Sonic game. The topic doesn't get much discussion as is. That all said, I'm really just one naysayer amongst a sea of people saying "I'm okay with this", so if the change does happen I'm sure I'll deal with it and adjust. Just wanna make sure you've thought this all through before you go doing anything silly that may or may not require some clean-up. \|P

I sense there'd probably be more clutter than is really needed if ya did that. But I'm all for forum merges. Keeps things tidier. Might make some things harder to find but that's a small price to pay... then again, it might also land up killing some of the newer topics from actually getting discussion.

It'd only be for new games or recent games. Once they've run their course they'd be merged into the starpost section.

Though I'd have to agree with the earlier point that Mario and Sonic at London probably wouldn't warrant too much discussion overall... might not need a forum of its own.

But I'm glad we have the forum for the game itself. I think you could do what Sega does and leave it up until 1 or 2 other games come out, because by then the discussions will have died down, but I know a lot of people don't even have a way to get a copy of SG right now.

I don't think we'd necessarily need to merge Starpost with Sonic's Universe but I'm not really liking having an independent main forum for the new games, granted there's rarely more than two at a time but it just seems unnecessary, I'd rather they be sub-forums that don't really change the general layout.

I don't really like subforums though. Subforums are where things go to die, no one seriously ever looks at them... Should I do one for the Olympics game? I know there wasn't as much discussion on it but there will be when it comes out.

Not sure if like. :I Also on a slightly minor point aesthetically, the two arrow things (+---->) are of different lengths. One has four hyphens while the other has five. Looks a bit weird. Although to be honest with you I'm not even sure why those sections have them. They seem a little pointless. shrug That said, not sure that the title will get much talk compared to Generations. Probably not enough to warrant a section like this. But whatever I guess~
