Ultimate ego boosting and all that. But in all seriousness, it can highlight which members can be taken a bit more seriously when giving opinions, and this might be useful mostly for newer members who are wondering who is who. Post count tells you jack shit other than you can spam... I doubt it's possible though, so I'm not getting my hopes up.
