It was an ultra high powered sniper rifle, and brand new. The new TTC 5 LongNose Sniper Rifle, the latest product from Twin Tail City Incorporated. It’s movements followed along its target. The sniper was clad in an all black stealth suit and wearing a ski mask over his canine head and muzzle. A very deadly and skilled private hitman known only by his alias… Shade. This hit was an odd one, and he wasn’t sure he liked it. In his drop place, an assignment with a promised pay of $50,000. His target? Another hitman… A male, black fox known as Black Gold. The letter explained that this was a revenge hit, that Black Gold had killed the client’s brother and had found Shade on the internet and had chosen him to take down Black Gold. He didn’t much like the idea of taking out a hit on his own kind but that $50,000 reward was quite the motivator. He knew in order to catch Black Gold, he’d have to get him while taking out one of his own hits. But Shade was still skeptical of the hit. The letter was… fishy. Seemed to not be telling him everything. So he decided to wait and see how Black Gold went about his business. He stayed completely silent as he lay on the roof of a store in Cainose, keeping his cross hairs on Jay. He wanted to study him first. Get a feel for how Black Gold operated, and whether 50 grand is worth taking down one of his own kind or not. So he just waited, observed…

He smiled, it always ended like this. He made a few "slip ups" while shadowing a target, the target would enevitably turn down a dark alley. The darkness of a moonless night, coupled with the darkness of his fur, allowed him to get right behind the target, like right now. He pulled a black, powder coated, non-reflective, ceramic knife from the sheath just beneath the fur of his tail. He expertly closed in and drew the blade across the target's throat.

He seem skilled enough... Wait, that's it. Why just take him out like this. Shade smirked more. Black Gold should prove to be a fun fight in hand to hand... So why not? If he's going to take down a fellow hitman, then at least have some fun doing it. He could have just pulled the trigger and ended Black Gold here and now and he'd never even know what hit him. But why the dull end? Shade stood up and shouldered his high powered rifle. He jumped down off the store and began to stealth his way across the street to meet up with this Black Gold

He headed up the street, then crossed it, turned and went back, but across the street. He looked like a normal, confused tourist, turning in circles, doubling back, and even window shopping, but it was all a ruse. It was his system for countersurvailance to make sure he wasnt being followed.

His black suit and mask making him vertualy invisable. He hid in the path infront of where Black Gold was heading and waited out of sight. He waited for him to pass by before he spoke. ''Well done.'' The darts caught him by suprise. His ultra high reflexes kicked in and he tried to deflect them. He broght up his knife and the needle of a dart bent from it and fell. But where'd the second dart go. Shade didn't see where it went. Looks like it missed. He chucled and smirked. ''Nice try. But I a-...?'' He started feelin dizzy. And his neck hurt... Moving his hand up, he plucked the dart from his neck. His vison blured and he glared at the fox as his world went black and he collapsed to the ground.

He hummed softly as he rode. Once there, he boarded a flight to Pragueopolis Zone, then to Genevaria. Once he was there, he got on a bus and road for three hours to a small town, called Leider Hoosen; there he walked to a store and bought a rather beautiful fresh salmon, eggs, vegies, all from local area. The dart alone was traceable to a degree plus Glade's mind. Before long, Shade found himself air dropped from a cargo plane from Austin Aeronautics towards Black Gold's location. As he fell, he considered how lucky and funded this guy was, living out here like this between hits. Shade just lived with his brother in the large house funded by his hits, military paycheck, and his brother's winnings in professional boxing. This time, Shade was clad in a suite catered to camouflage him in this environment.
