Massive online controversy as a player-elected figurehead on the Eve Online player council is heard telling people to encourage a depressed person to kill himself - on the public stage of the annual Eve Online gathering, no less. This is why I never liked MMO. Its too grinding and you can't trust most people. But this is outrageous. I mean, he just made fun of someone who was in a low point of his life and then instigated a group of people against that same person for no reason. Well, that's basically what was said on the blog, but yeah, I also think the guy should get in bigger troubles for what happened.

Typical MMO syndrome! I might have played the game for 3 years longer than most of them but I've honestly had more fun with them than any other group I've gamed with. I really hope the guy gets in major shit for what he's said. No amount of apologies will make it right in my eyes.

He's a good strategist, we get fun together. The game turns, from my point of view, into a team, plus another guy, and not 3 random people working together. The worst is that this humiliation was mostly plain. I mean he read the letter out loud, he put it in the presentation, just so people could get a laugh at the misery of another guy. All I'm seeing is that making fun of him was prearranged. And that's is the worst thing in all of this.

I hate people that post (Tl;dr). Its stupid and makes no sense. Two, some of those comments are your usual stuff. Some praise it, other say it's stupid and a few are simply trolls. And of course there that one guy saying that "The Wiz" send that message because he was looking for attention. Because that's what everyone wants. Attention from a group of drunk supporters of the opposite side. Well, I guess that covers most of a fanbase regulars. Still is a good thing you're blog post ended in a site like that.
