Octoberfest. Just another day of the year for socializing, getting drunk, and other unspeakable things. Yet, this holiday is celebrated the world over for precisely those reasons. This year, however, someone has gotten a little more creative with it. A week before October fest began, an ad was placed in to the media. Newspapers from all over were dedicating entire pages towards it. Two minute commercials swarmed over every channel. Just about everyone had gotten word of the ad. Everyone, however, also knew about the strange requirments to attend this event: Only people of supernatural abilities or origin wrre allowed. Minor abilities, such as fortelling expiration dates with 98% accuracy, were refused. The event was said to be held on an island in the pacific. To reach it, all one would have to do was to request the tickets in advance and prove to the local head of the airport that you were closely connected to the supernatural world. After this, you would be taken to a jet liner set to the side for this event. Those with the power of flight would be welcome to fly themselves, but were warned that the flight was long and arduous. All flights would be leaving on the eve of halloween, accord to their respected timezones. As the planes pulled in from above, the size of the island were made apparent. It spanned over the area of ten square miles, not including the fantastically deserted beaches. The event itself took only seven square miles of this. The island was cluttered with different booths, stands, and shops. There were plenty of wide open spaces for guests to start there own business endeavors, or to just hang out. After the airplanes had landed, the guests were handed there luggage and given a map of the island, which included directios to a group of hotels. All expenses were paid and the guests were given room keys. After everyone had time to recover from the long flight, the fun would begin. Alright, now for a bio sheet. Name: Ability/Heritage: (This refers to how you were let on to the plane.) Age:(You might not want to have teenagers around, due to possible content.) Appearance:(Please be detailed) Species:(This RP considers furs, humans and/or other nonfurs normal.) Finally, we need rules. 1. NO GOD-MODDING. You may control NCPs, but nothing beyond this. 2. Characters with supernatural abilities/heritage only. 3. Don't leave others behind for your own dialogue with another character. You can let them keep up with the plot. 4. Be detailed with your posts, it's an advanced RP. 5. Enjoy. warning

Heck, I'll give this a shot. I've gone and written a ton more stuff about Claru in this one bio than any other character sheet I've done for him previously, wow.  Name: Claru Dante Species: Belongs to a supernatural species known as 'youkai', though have alternatively been known as 'einherjar' or 'local spirits'. Youkai are anthropomorphic manifestations of the Earth's physical and metaphysical laws, and are often more advanced than humans in a physical (strength, speed, agility, toughness, reflexes) and intuitive sense (not necessarily more better in terms of other mental characteristics however), but not so much as other supernatural races or superpowered humans. Ability/Heritage: As a youkai, Claru's 'patron law' is Possibility, possessing an ability called 'Endless Miracles of Infinite Worlds'. This ability allows him to reach out through the 'channels of possibility' into parallel universes and 'simulate' his alternate selves within his own body, temporarily gaining their abilities as his own. By doing this, he can also create 'simulacra' (fake copies) of his alternates' signature equipment. While this seems to be 'all-powerful' on the surface, the truth is that it requires many simulations of the same world in order to gain experience with them and to grow comfortable with the abilities gained, as he cannot simulate the 'mind' of his alternates, meaning he does not have access to the skills and knowledge they possess. In short, he acquires the powers, but NOT the proficiency, and in some cases, he may not be able to withstand the amount of power he simulates (trying to simulate a god-like alternate self, for example, is likely to cause his immediate destruction). He has only simulated a handful of universes with any great regularity and rarely branches out into 'uncharted territory'. Age: 20 Appearance: Claru's physique is slight (ectomorphic body build) and his skin is somewhat paler than most people's since he doesn't get out into the sun very often. His black hair is short and messy (in a neat-ish kind of way), with one particular lock of hair standing up from the rest like a crescent moon-shaped antennae. His eyes are both brown; however, they turn a golden yellow when his abilities are activated. Furthermore, the left eye is actually a cybernetic implant to replace the eye he lost during a fierce battle in which he nearly died. This eye is an aetheric generator that intakes aether, compresses it and forces it straight into Claru's central nervous system to make up for his body's inability to keep up with his youkai power. A voice-activated mechanism, it's activation is characterised by the iris spinning in place, like a wheel on an axis. Claru's 'youkai trait' is 'Tiger'; thus, he bears a pair of yellow and black tiger ears and a matching tail that he can 'conceal' at will, though it takes considerable concentration to keep them hidden during bouts of heightened emotion. Claru wears black pants/boots and a white buttoned-up shirt with long sleeves. He dislikes short-sleeved shirts and especially despises shorts.
