(Haha, looks like I went a bit too fast with the Virus rp.  Now we're behind, so I'll need to speed things up a bit. :D)To Maverick and Legionnaire Rad and Galdar wouldn't know what hit them. Not that they were going to be attacked, rather something different all together. A large red cloud started to form above Rain Fall city. It seemed to be a storm cloud of some kind, as flashes of purple light could be seen within the cloud. It started to stretch out, reaching for Galdar and Rad. At first, it wouldn't look like it was expanding. Until something within the cloud caused a muffled boom noise, which set off a reaction that made the cloud come alive. It raced for Galdar and Rad, as well as reached down towards the city, consuming everything in its path. No doubt it would consume Galdar and Rad, for where else could they go? =============== To Riddick, and everyone "Calm down, I can't work if you're barking orders at me! This isn't the time for several questions." The professor told Gunoy as he continued to work. "This substance was brought to me by one of my workers. We managed to regenerate a fossilized pokemon. And when this red... Stuff, tried to capture it, the pokemon became a fossil once more, and the liquid remained in its crystal form without moving. Apperently it was confused since it thought it caught a pokemon, so it remained still as if not knowing what to do." The professor explained, then moved over to the liquid form he also had. "As for this one. Apparently attacking these red liquids with strong elemental attacks caused them to deactivate. Normal attacks, ghost attacks, rock attacks, bug attacks, and steel attacks have no effect however." The professor was about to continue, until he heard what sounded like thunder. "Oh no, it has started." He spoke, and ran outside as quickly as he could. A large re cloud started form, and suddenly it rushed out towards Rain Fall city, and continued to expand. It consumed a majority of the city within minuets, and transformed the entire city into a barren and dark place. All the buildings were unharmed. However, black wolf like creatures seemed to come with transformation of the city. It was like this cloud was bringing the entire city into another world, or rather, into another realm. These black wolf like creatures simply looked upon the people and pokemon that were suddenly brought here. No one knew what to do, expect for the professor that is, who ran inside as the black wolves fled the scene. |

Galdar and Oro had just caught up to and were about to overtake Rad when the cloud appeared. Galdar ordered for Oro to turn around, which it did immediately doing a flip that left Galdar momentarily upside down. Oro flew back just far enough that Galdar could see the whole cloud and look for a way through. "Try going over..." Galdar said quietly, in response Oro picked up speed and ripped off towards the top of the cloud. |

"Drago, pull up!" Rad ordered, as the cloud suddenly began to reach for them. Showing it's great prowess as the fastest flying Pokemon, Dragonite curved and dashed upwards in an attempt to dodge the cloud. What in the world was this? A cloud couldn't just react on its own. Rad could hear faint noises coming from within the cloud. Maybe something WAS controlling it. Dragonite pulled backwards and faced the cloud. "Hyper Beam!" he called out, with the stream of energy racing towards the cloud.

(Barren and dark huh? Heh, I'll just visualize Rain Fall as inFamous 1's evil Empie City) Gunoy started to take in his surroundings as the professor begun explaining what they were. Then he came to finally understand wha the professor was talking about. "So basically, the liquid would try to capture a living pokemon and seal into this crystal state huh?" He continued listening to the explanation and a thought had come to his mind, "And fighting type attacks. They do not affect them either." he added to the professor's list. He then heard the thunder making him think it would soon rain. After all it should be what Rain Fall City is known for, but something did not seem right when the professor was quickly worried about something. He saw him running out of the lab with the quickness and he looked over to his Scrafty that was staring at something else in the lab. "Scrafty, come on." It heard Gunoy and followed him out of the lab along with Gunoy. They both were now outside along with the professor watching the red cloud slowly consume the town an giving it a dark, desolate atmosphere. A chill had went down Gunoy's spine as he suddenly remembered this feeling. "This is bad..." The thought was playing in his mind several times watching the city change. He then noticed another horrific sight: the shadow wolf like pokemon he had previously encountered and luckily escaped from were there as well. He knows very well how the creatures are and what they are capable of. |

"Gunoy!! Get your tail in here! I need you more than ever now!" The professor shouts at the entrance to his lab. Without waiting for a reply, the professor hurried in himself and began to go through several books. Picking one up, looking at it, then tossing it as if he didn't find what he was looking for. He was searching his lab like a mad man, trying to find certain book. "Will someone had me that scroll on the center left table please!" He shouts, not knowing that the rest of his workers were elsewhere. Hopefully Gunoy was present to hear his request and help him out. ================== Upon Rad's pokemon preforming a hyper beam, the result was simply nothing. The cloud split open a bit, revealing the newly formed city, only to close shut within a few seconds. Nothing else really happened... That was until a few minuets went by, when a suddenly a loud roar shook the sky. A Rayquaza busted out of the of the clouds. In fact, two Rayquazas came forth, roaring as one which shook the sky once more. They zoomed off in different directions, one of them spotting Rad and Galdar. It fixed its attention on them and moved towards them with fury. Of course, bot Rayquazas had these strange markings on them, and they were much large and more noticeable then before. |

Despite all that was happening outside in Rain Fall, Gunoy was becoming more annoyed by the always shouting scientist. He set that feeling aside for now and turned to make his way back into the lab with Scrafty following. THey were then simply standing around in his lab. Gunoy looked away for a moment only for him to have a book slap him in the left side of his face. This had only started to frustrate Gunoy even more seemingly nearing his highest point of frustration. He looked down at his Scrafty and it seem to have its normal look on his face staring up at him. It patted him on his back and it subsided some of Gunoy's anger. In order to calm himself he paused, then sat down with his legs crossed and eyes closed into a meditated state. Scrafty had heard the professor asking for a type of scroll somewhere. Seeing as Gunoy was busy trying to quell his anger it decided of its own free will to grab said scroll and bring it to the professor. It simply walked over, sat it on a table near him, and walked back over to Gunoy and sat down right beside him, but only just sitting. |

(Where's Selen in all this?) Anna had managed to retrieve Sirknight and Erlade. She'd just been flying to Rain Fall City, since she'd been told to go there (Or at least she thought she had) when Natio cawed a sharp cry. "What is- Oh my God..." A massive red-black cloud was charging towards them. "Natio, dodge that!" The Xatu didn't need to be told twice. It dove down and sharply turned away from the cloud. They avoided it for now, but it was still hot on their heels. Anna looked up, eyes tearing from the sudden wind, when she spotted what seemed to be... A sky battle? "Head over there, Natio!" But Natio didn't even have to be told. It had picked up on Anna's intentions and wheeled towards the fight. As they approached, Anna was able to see the combatants. A Dragonite, with a Trainer on its back... And two massive Rayquazas. Larger than any Anna had ever imagined. Ever. It didn't take a genius to figure out the Rayquazas were corrupted. Anna thought of what they could do to help, while they were still trying to avoid the cloud themselves. |
