Question About Uploading Photos

The most important meal of the day Posts: 1,763 Group: S Rank Hero Member #11,251 Joined: July 20, 2010 Gender: Female Country: Brazil Xbox Live Gamertag: AngelSpartaness 3DS Friend Code: 061945741822 Nintendo ID: AngelSpartaness Game Currently Playing: Kameo: Elements of Power	I was reading the rank information, you know the one where it tells you how many posts it takes you to get to a certain rank, and what priveledges you receive once you obtain that rank, blah blah. Well, if I read correctly, I shouldve been able to upload my own photos several posts ago, unfortunately, it still says "Uploads Disabled" on my profile. For clarification purposes, can someone please tell me if Im missing something here, or if I simply misread it or... Whats going on?

Erm, depends what you mean by uploading 'photos'. I'll assume you mean your avatar and the user photo (I'm not sure who even uses that last one...). Not really sure, but I know that the forum won't automatically resize avatars that you upload (unlike ones linked to from a url), and thus it rejects them if they're not of the 'correct' dimensions and/or file size. If that's not the problem, then I've got no idea. On the other hand - and I understand if you have a specific reason for wanting to do it the other way, but - isn't it a little easier to just go with URL images anyway?

And it would be easier, except I mainly use my phone to get on here and I take a lot of pictures with my phone And it saves a couple steps usually to just upload them from my phone because it usually shows the gallery once I click the upload button But apparently my uploads are disabled! And I dont want to upload them for my avatar, I want one for my profile Photo. You know what im talking bout :? I feel like im being unclear.. ):

That sounds like a permissions problem or some kind of Zetaboards glitch... And after a brief skim, I don't think it's a permissions problem unless the rank itself has been mucked about with. In that case (and also in the case that it's a Zetaboards issue), it looks like it's a job for an admin. ^_^;;
