Final Fantasy X HD Coming to PS3, Vita

Revealed at the Tokyo Game Show, Square has confirmed that one of the best games in the series(And personally my favorite FF and favorite games) is coming to the PS3 and Vita. Details are scarce(And keep note that it's an HD port, not necessarily an all-out remake), but rejoice fans! God, one of my favorite games ever getting an HD port. Now another reason to hurry and find a job...

I am so in love with this game. Ill buy this even if I already have it on my PS2. Once I get my PS3 this will at the top of my list of PS3 games.

Oh, of course the graphics will be improved, hopefully FFXIII beautiful. <3 As in HD port, aside from updates in graphics, not much, if any, updates will be added(Hence why I want to avoid using the word remake until Square actually says so).

Is FFXIII that good of a game to have so many sequels? I haven't played it so I wouldn't know. From what Ive read it doesn't live up to any of the FF favorites like 7 or 10. Not all of us can be satisfied or pleased. I just didn't expect such an announcement like that. Thanks Square.

However, just to clear things up, the two teams that work on XIII-2 and Versus have no relation to each other, with Versus being made by the team that did the Kingdom Hearts games. So regardless if there's a XIII-2 or not, nothing would have sped up or slowed down Versus's eventual release date. As for the possibility of XIII-3 though, I admit I rather see more of Versus or a FFXV already, but registering for the domain doesn't mean anything. It's still a long ways away from an actual announcement, and could be something planned, but will not actually go through with it. Anywho, no XIII negativity/hate train here please. FFX needs more love. Lots more love. Im a bit curious to see if they will change the box art for this FFX HD Edition thingy. I mean they have to don't they?

Posts: 231 Group: C Rank Guardian Member #12,299 Joined: August 1, 2011	XIII's story revolves around crystals, and Versus XIII meets those requirements, but the only thing is just the setting is in a different universe. Think of it as Shin Megami Tensei vs Shin Megami Tensei Persona. In a nutshell, it's reasonable that Versus XIII got called "Versus XIII" because it's more or less a "Spin-off" FFXIII. I never really liked XIII's gameplay cuz it's too linear, so I say finish it off already SQNX and cancel XIII-3. As for FFX, I'm sorry but there is no way the graphics are gonna be THAT insane. FFX doesn't use Crystal Engine unlike XIII, so it's impossible. If anything, it will only have a clearer view in your HDTV than the standard PS2 version.

Considering that XIII-2 hasn't even released yet, I wouldn't read too much into it. On topic, I never played X, but I di watch my brother play it, and it was pretty solid. I have a feeling that with this announcement I'll be watching it again.

I'm not an expert on game engines and stuff like that, so I could be wrong, but I kinda hope it's just more then a clearer view. At least have the standard PS3 graphics, seeing it's an HD port which improved graphics will likely be all this will have.
