Don't really know what to say to this.

Free will is something that everyone has, so why is it that we can't use it? The government is there to lead our country, not force it in one direction. I won't lie, I'm a religious person. I believe that men should not marry, I believe that abortions should not happen, I believe in these controversial issues, and in my ideal world, gays would stay un-married and parents will do anything they can to give infants a chance at life. But do I think these tings should be forced? No. Hell, I'd rather gays marry each other and babies be killed through choice than have my ideals spread as a law. If I want to spend the rest of my life with another man or kill my girlfriends un-born child, then that's my problem, but it's something the government needs to stay out of. In regards to his other stances, I'm gonna say no again. if the legislative can overturn the judicial, then it holds more power than the other two branches, and that's a set-up for a disaster later on down the line. Taking away voter power is also setting a future problem in motion. It's our local environment that the senators control, and if we can vote for our president then we should be able to vote for our senators, after all, one influences us more directly than the other. Honestly, I try my best not to be affiliated with a political party, but sometimes Republicans make it hard to stay neutral.

And for being so against debt, not unlike his Republican counterparts in the race for the presidential nomination, he sure asheck ran up a big debt in Texas while decreasing property and state sales tax while opting against a state income tax.. and basically trying to make up the difference by borrowing huge loads from the Fed Unemployment Trust.. Which means he was using Tax payer money from EVERYWHERE as opposed to tax payer money from just in Texas for strictly Texan projects.. which wouldn't be so bad if that wasn't essentially the only thing he used... Maybe we could talk about his track record in education where Texas schools are bleeding money, a lot of districts are borderline broke, Texas is 47th in spending education and LAST in High School Graduation, all of this could have been remedied using some of the "rainy day" slush fund (That's a term apparently used by lots of Texans.. And judging by how it "was/wasn't" used....) he amounted but instead that continued to grow and go "unused" by the state. And today, the public education system in Texas is in the gutter. He's just another Big Personal Government no-sayer with a different face on, and the only reason he was pushed to run was because the super conservative right wasn't happy to see Mitt Romney as the front runner.. The only ideas presented by the Republicans in congress now as well as the presidential nominees has been counter-productive destructive garbage and they've even turned on their own ideals when presented by President Obama as some sort of consolation to continue to impede legislation.. no one in the party is willing to govern, they are going to cry and tyrade as long as they can to sit one of their own bums in office again, because if a Republican isn't in office they will just throw childish temper tantrums, that's ALL I've seen out of pretty much every single one of them in office and out. They're probably just spoiled by all that unlimited corporate money they get now.
