Name: Star Age: Unknown (Looks around the age 19 or 20) Sex: F Species:Alien-Human Hybrid Alignment:Chaotic Good Appearance:  Extra:  Measurements ---- Theme Song: Honor - Atreyu Supporting Soundtrack: None yet. (Could use some suggestions though) ----- Personality:Star isn't one to be serious all the time. Usually she is light-hearted and quirky. At times she can also be a total spaz. But she means well. However don't piss her off unless you're ready for what she might do. She is unpredictable in a combat situation and very resourceful. Anything that isn't bolted down is a weapon to her. An angry woman is something to fear especially when she is throwing blunt and/or sharp objects at you. Which is why most tend to want to be on her good side. She doesn't remember much from her past due to an incident a couple years back that caused her to lose most of her memories. But despite this fact she still tries to move forward and do what she believes is right. Family:N/A Friends:None as of yet Relationship:N/A Transport:Minor teleportation (Within a ten foot radius and requires a 30 second cooldown time). Weapons: Anything that weighs less than 200 Pounds. However she does have an affinity for projectile weapons. With some minor light-energy based attacks. Items: The clothes she has on (Sport bra, jacket, Blue and white sneakers, Tan Cargo jeans, and a Star hairpin). Not much else other than what she might pick up here and there. Biography:She has no memory of herself before the incident a few years back where she was found completely naked in a crater on some farm. After being found and given a place to stay and recoop she payed them back by helping around the farm for a few months before things got... interesting. Apparently she was wanted on several planets that she had never heard of (Amnesia can kick your arse when this kind of thing happens) and had to defend her new home. She ended up leaving for the sake of the people around her and living mostly in the wilderness and the city. She tries to avoid fighting for fear of hurting and/or killing people since her fights are known to be quite messy and can easily get out of hand since the creatures fighting her are usually far bigger than her. She hasn't completely figured out why she is wanted and she doesn't have much of a chance since none of the enemies she's fought have been kind enough to tell her. She's really lucky that she hasn't died. Or rather she's just lucky the enemies that she fights are relatively dumb. Moves/Combat Style: She tends to fight with an anything goes mentality. Her attacks are sporadic and tend to be relatively unpredictable. She likes a more enclosed space with multiple obstacles that can be used to her advantage. Very Survival oriented. Skills: Star Beam - By pulling in light energy around her she is capable of firing a small concentrated beam of energy. It gets it's namesake from the fact that it sends off small sparks as it hits an object and the sparks look like stars. It's power is dependent on the amount of energy used for the attack. More energy however takes more time to prepare. Star Shatter Storm - Uses particles of light to create a star of varying size. More energy equals bigger star. Then when it's the right size she can shatter it making spikes in the ground that range from only a few inches to several feet tall. Used mostly to change the battlefield. She can try and hit her opponent but it's harder to do since shattering the star isn't very accurate for attacking. Strengths: Fearless, Observant, and Flexible Weaknesses: Quick Tempered, Weak Durability (Think Glass Cannon and Fragile Speedster), and Leaps Into Situations Without Thinking. Yeah there are a few things that I need to add and do but I figure might as well post what I already have to see what you all think. So comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Edit: So added a bit of backstory. It's not the best IMO but it works and that's all that matters.

nice. I'm sure it's better then my fan characters. I like how your having your fan character as an alien-human hybrid. All my fan characters are hedgehogs. Well, except for one, which is a hedgebat. |

For starting out you got quite a lot of info already Star this looks like a promising character for sure.  alas......Glass cannon......ROFL I never thought I would see that used as an example for a character. |

Yeah I was basically making her based off of my love for mages. Great attackers, not so great on defense. I was looking for a Trope for the "Leaps into situations without thinking" but I'm not sure what that would be... If there even is one... |

Okay updated slightly. Just added some measurements (Just cause I thought it might be a good idea to add that) and added a move to the skills list. More of a support skill than anything. @Gallant: Thank you. I spent a great deal of work on getting the personality just right in my eyes. And I'm not even done adding things yet. I still want to add at least one or two more skills, a backstory, and work on getting some art done for her. Might ask a friend on dA if she wouldn't mind doing a commission again.

Update time. So yeah I finally added a backstory. It's not the best but it works for it's purpose. Also still trying to think of one last skill for her but I'll figure one out later. So... *bump* Have a good day.

I am a little skeptical after seeing the alien thing, but i'm gonna check out the whole character anyway. I love how you took out a Gaia picture and plastered it all over this thread. At least i think it's gaia i dunno. I hate gaia, but if we will skip that, her Extra look is more neat. It gives of the 'dark magic' look. I thank you for actually bringing more of her personality, bringing in anger and violent sides of hers. It's definitely better then "A kind-hearted and cool girl who is always ready for adventure, with a cocky attitude nevermind where." style. It's also great how you managed her abilities. Not some kind of taunting teleport out of shitting nowhere, but a very small teleport, not to mention letting it recharge to be fair. It seems also i have a sensitive side to star magic, so i praise you for that too. ... I don't know what the hell is going on with me, but i just can't point out anything wrong with your character, Star. It's just perfect! No mistakes, no cheesy bios, interesting personalities and of course, STAR MAGIC. If there's ever a change, i would really like to roleplay with that character someday but for now, i'm going to give you a rating of 10/10. Cheerio. |

I use the gaia avatar creator for initial character design mostly cause it's quick, simple, and the selection is wide enough that I can make a character easily. Although they didn't have the coloration that I wanted for her hair so I had to actually run it through GIMP and actually change the hair color.

Yeah I would have to agree, this character is nearly flawless. One thing though: 5 foot 2 and 150 pounds? In the real world, she'd be pretty chubby. Idk if thats what you were aiming for. Just as an example, im almost 5'5" and only 132lbs.. And im riiight there on the BMI. So yeah, thats just something I noticed. Otherwise, really good. |

I was also trying to take into account bust size and muscle mass which might have made my measurements just a bit off. That's why I gave her an athletic build.
