Character Predictions for SSB Strife; Who do you want in, out, or to remain?

 Who do you want in?
Atleast some good third-party characters, possibly X, from Megaman series, Geno maybe, erm..hmm..I'm not really sure about other characters..as I'm unable to list anymore. But I do like to see some new Nintendo characters into the action.

Who do you want out?
I want Jigglypuff out is because what's the USE of having her in? I know she's cute, but her fighting style is HORRIBLE. Sorry, Jigglypuff, but Mewtwo should have his place in the Smash series back.

I also want Falco out because we all know that Fox and Wolf are enough, thank you.

Let's see..I got more, but I don't know what currently.. *still thinking it over*

Who do you want to remain?
Ness, Lucas, Mario, Bowser, Yoshi, and well, anyone else that I want to list, but yet I'm still uncertain about.

Anybody else want to share? =]

Nope. Just nope. Jiggs is totally baws in the right hands. You don't want to get on Jiggs' bad side. Jiggs will mess you up.

No seriously. I've seen some scary Jigglypuffs in my time. ^^;

Also, to be fair this is the first time we've had this thread here. Unless you count the main SSBS thread that was made yonks ago. But whatever.

Anyways, as far as characters go Mega Man is the main one for me in terms of third party characters. Classic or X probably.

For Nintendo characters we need a playable Golden Sun character. Issac, Matthew, someone. I wouldn't mind seeing a playable Lyn from Fire Emblem or possibly Hector. Hector would probably be prefered since he doesn't use a sword like both Ike and Marth do.

Uhm... I think that's all I've got at the moment. The current roster (as in Brawl's) can stay the way it is. I wouldn't remove anyone since I like them all to a degree. We need Falco in there to tell us to keep our mitts off his bread. I wouldn't mind having Mewtwo back, but I wouldn't want to give up someone for him to make it back. Especially since it's Lucario that would most likely be swapped out. *shrug*

In terms of characters I want, I wouldn't mind seeing Jill from Fire Emblem on the roster.

If there's one fighter I want out, however, it's Lucario. God, playing as him in the Subspace Emissary was a nightmare. >_>

 Looking forward to Wolf O'Donnell again.
There was something about him that I liked.
Not to mention this was my best character in Brawl right next to Fox and Falco.
Oh, replacing him with Krystal would make me loose faith in Nintendo.

Even though I had him down pretty damn good in Melee, Mewtwo only if they fix his physics to make him take more like Lucario.
Lucario just isn't a good fit on the list of Nintendo All-Stars.
Dr. Mario as an alternate costume for Mario would be most excellent.
Sonic for sure because I liked his speed, much like Fox.

King K. Rool with the Kaptain K. Rool outfit is my hope for a new character.
Also, the boar version of Ganon.
Mostly his look from OoT.
Lastly, the biggest request of mine is to make a second to Pokemon Trainer like Giovanni for instance.
He would use like the female Nidoran, maybe Graveller and Nidoking (requesting only because he's my favorite Pokemon of all time and due to him being his signature use. )

Haha, that was going to be my response when I saw that but I see you beat me to it.

Jigglypuff may possibly be the best character in the series.
He/she's who got me Final Destination in Melee.
And I didn't even use that one hit KO move he/she can use.

Jiggs ain't useless.

 ... Isn't it too soon for a thread like this? We don't even know if Strife will the final name, and the developer even said development hasn't even started on the new SSB.

Eh, whatever. This is pretty much that we discussed in the main topic though. But anyway...

For third party people, I kinda don't wanna see more then four at the most though...

I would like to see Megaman, but seeing what Crapcom is doing, that is slowly seeming more and more unlikely.

Lloyd Irving from the Tales of Symphonia games would be pretty cool. He guessed starred in Soul Calibur Legends.

And of course, I would like to see Sonic return.

As for others, I agree a GoldenSun character should be playable. Geno should be added too, and I would love to see Lyn from Fire Emblem. Oh and Krystal. But they definitely need to make the other Star Fox characters more unique somehow. Not sure about others, but the rest of the roster is fine to me, so no need to kick people out.

How DARE you call Jigglypuff useless. I know the gameplay of all Brawl's character roster and Jigglypuff is the deadliest aerial fighter of the list. If you find it useless, I just conclude you didn't played with it long enough.

Falco deserve to stay too. He is also great at aerial, especially his D-air. It was one of the best character of Melee and Brawl. They should just replace the landmaster by an arwing as a final smash. It's much more fitting.

Ike may stay, if they limit his f-smash strengh. Same for Lucas' up-smash, too much people abuse of it.

Now for the guest characters. It's sad to say that but I'm afraid Sonic and Snake may not be in Strife. Merely because it would not be fair for other licences to have the same guest characters two smash bros in a row.
We could have X or Zero (but x would be more symbolic. It's like putting Shadow instead of Sonic)
Characters from namco would be welcom too. Like on of Soulcalibure characters.
Or even a character from Final Fantasy.

 I agree with everyone else who has mentioned it. Though Jiggly isn't usually my choice, he/she pawns.

I would like to see Geno but with the whole deal with Square, it won't ever happen. Heck ,I think even Mallow would be a nice little addition. But alas, we will never see them in another game.

Can't really think of who I would want to see that would be a reasonable prediction. As for who should stay, I hope my girl Sheik sticks around and of course Im kind of hoping Mewtwo comes back. I would hate to see Wolf go, but if they can just change his final smash or something then that should be fine.
Where the hell is Final Fantasy X HD?!

Yea the Red Landmaster was a big fail. Who saw Starwolf driving red landmasters in the whole franchise?! Maybe a Wolfen but not a stupid red landmaster!

 Are you kidding me? Jiggly's final smash is deadly, bro. |D On a small(er) map, it's hell to dodge if you do it right, and if you don't, BOING!

Not much for characters that haven't already been mentioned, but I'm still crossing my fingers for another Konami crossover. Don't want to abandon my Snake. ;~;

Ehhhhhh. I'm not sure about this one. I mean I like Final Fantasy, but it seems like they would be out of place in Smash to me. Plus everyone would just want Cloud. ¬_¬;

I say keep them in Dissidia and give some other guests a chance. *nod nod*

On Final Smashes, there are quite a few that are considered useless really. So based on that alone quite a few characters would be gone. Also, didn't they explain that Wolf's Landmaster was stolen from Starfox and modified for his use?

Oh, and it's never too early to start discussion, Fen. The topic title can always be changed. |P
