This might or might not have been done already, but hey. We all know by now that Sonic games aren't exactly known for their amazing plotlines. Multiple holes and contradictions have been made over the course of the games. Let's talk about a few, and see what everyone has to say. One I learned about recently while I was having a chat with Fastest Thing Alive: In Sonic Adventure, Knuckles follows Eggman into the Station Square Hotel dining room to fight Chaos 2. FTA said that it just randomly came to him one day-- Why the hell was Eggman there in the first place? If Knuckles hadn't shown up, then Eggman would have just led Chaos into the room, transformed him, and left. It seems kinda pointless considering that he could have just warped himself to the Egg Carrier and transformed him there. Or he could've just done it as soon as he acquired the Emerald. Other famous plotholes, problems, and just plain WTF moments include Eggman's moon-kaboom in SA2 and how it pretty much just screwed physics over big-time, Babylon's Discuss. |

Bumping because I don't give a rats behind. What about the factor of the Death Egg? It fell to the floating island immediately after Sonic "blew it up". Sonic 3 is a direct sequel to the second, pretty much moments after the Death Egg falls. How is it that Dr. Eggman has time to realize where he is, trick Knuckles and build up a whole new army of robots while rebuilding the Death Egg in such a short amount of time? I might get a reply like "that's not a plot hole, dummy" but this is big to me. |
