"What exactly do I have to tell you about Peter that you don't already know?" Kirge asked. He began wondering if it was possible that Peter's family isn't completely aware of what he's been doing or what he plans to do. It would make sense; Kirge himself hasn't bothered telling his 'family' and doesn't really plan on doing so unless they bother asking him. But he figured someone as young as Peter would have concerned relatives that would try to find out where he is or what he's up to. |

"Well, our family kind of lost contact of him after he join the ene... your former boss. I keep chatting with him from time to time. Not long conversations, but I could see that joining had change him. He created a lust for power. One that was hard to fill." Carl stop for a second, looking for the right tone to say the following words. In his family the older got all the family secrets and weapons, all of it. Maybe what made Carl say the next line was fear of what those powers could create in Peter hand and the feeling that those secrets belong to him, for keeping with the family ideals. "What if I told you he was the one responsible for your boss death?" |

"Can't say I honestly buy that in the slightest at face value," Kirge said, just slightly cocking an eyebrow. "But, hey, freedom of speech- feel free to try and persuade me if you must. It'd be idiotic of myself to dismiss a potential warning." Despite inviting Carl to explain his claim if he so wished, Kirge truthfully couldn't believe him. At least to the old platypus, the thought of someone like Peter defeating his old master was unfathomable. It's not that he doubted Peter's potential, so much as his coordination. His master seemed too brilliant and well-prepared to have fallen to the hands of a grunt with energy and no direction. |

"Hahahaha. I knew my brother had some charisma, but this is over board." Carl said laughing. "Tell me. Do you still remember the day? Anything out of the usual happened? A breach in security maybe, something that could give a small group the chance to enter your fortress. Something only achieved by a man in the inside? Of course, why would you believe in anything I'm saying... I'm the enemy right, a brainless soldier to the city that would never think for myself. Not like my brother who only cares about himself and his obsession with power. He cares about no one and nothing. I'm surprise our father still left everything for a moron like him." Carl could had go one. He realized that the material Peter was bringing was close. Maybe 5 minutes away, but he didn't want him to catch on there little private talk. "Think about it. "Your brother hopes that we'll soon be," Kirge pointed out. "But enough about that and back to the matter at hand. What do I need to do to fix this situation? I mean, there is something for me to do, right?" Feeling useless was the last thing Kirge wanted to go through. He had no idea what was the object that Peter was bringing, meaning that he probably wasn't going to be of any help handling it, but there should be something he could do to help. |

"You won't, don't worry. The fortress here is on the look out, since we're planning an attack on the country near by. You two are our last problem to deal with. And boy, was his choice of a career terrible. son of a good hero, he chooses to be a low level grunt." Peter then enters with something peculiar to say the least. 3 small robots, the size of a hand, all with four legs, making them look like spiders. "I can't believe you actually made me go get these things. Why add a survival instinct in the first place if they can't fight." The spiders entered the computer and started working inside it. Carl on the other hand look at them, completely focus. "Stupid bastard, those robots activated when I call him and I had to go around to catch them. I'm pretty sure he made this happen on purpose. Anything happen while I was doing a little bug control?" He says to Kirge, while watching his brother controlling the computers and gathering has much information from them has he could. "Nah. We chatted for a while. Could've used some tea to go along with the conversation, but otherwise, nothing to report," the platypus replied with a shrug. He would be lying if he denied he wasn't a little curious about Peter's origins, but it wasn't anything that worried him or that he considered of importance. And if it was, he was sure he'd uncover the deal soon enough. He's Peter's #1 underling after all. |

"Well, I got it." Carl says with a smile. All the data they needed was right there. "I'll give you the weapon the next time we see each other. Bye." He said again deactivating the phone or device or whatever. "Wait, go back here you..." Peter tries to stop him but nothing works. On the other hand the 3 spider robots disappear in the corners, leaving the two alone. "Welllll.... that was unsuspected." Peter says heading for the computer. He look at the screen and finds the following message. Place track down, assault team in 30 minutes. "Well.... fudge. We better figure out how this stupid thing works, or if works at all. Luckily the rain should stop them for a while so we got... an hour or two. Any suggestions besides panic?" |

"Panicking isn't a suggestion, it's a nuisance," Kirge said as he started walking down to the armory. It was old, decrepit, unused and most of the weapons were defective. "It's a start," he said as he grabbed a machinegun and threw it to Peter, "you do know how to work that, right?" |
