He caught it and put Echo down. He started digging up the dirt, as did Micheal.

Once they were finished, Jak stuck his shovel in the dirt, as did Micheal. "Now would be the time to say a few things." Jak told Joy.

"let's get a rock or piece of wood or something so we can remember where she's been buried." I said to Jak. "I'd like to come back here someday." I added quietly, mostly to myself.

He walked back to the ship and came back out a few minutes later with a piece of wood. It didnt look like most pieces of wood though. "Where'd you find that?" Micheal asked. "It's a part of one of my guitars." Jak told him. He walked over and stuck it in where Echo was buried. Micheal looked in shock.

"I hope you have lots of running time, Echo. and I hope you have lots of fun." I attempted to smile at Echo's grave, but I couldn't do it. my feelings were too messed up. so I just looked at it, not smiling, but frowning. I wished I could smile. usually I would laugh at anything that came my way, but my feelings were all messed up by Echo's death. I sighed.

He was still trying to figure out why Jak broke one of his guitars. Haulsey had come down with a picture in her hand, and looked at Jak. She was a little ways back, so Jak didnt notice her.

Jak told her. Haulsey stepped up and tapped Jak on the shoulder. "This may be a bad time, but I found this." She told him. Jak broke the hug and grabbed the picture. He looked at it, then his face changed. It went from hard to sorrow filled.

Haulsey looked at him, and felt bad. She picked the picture back up and uncrumbled it.

I had to get used to the fact that Echo was dead, and I couldn't do anything about it.
