The software is free and there's no limitations. However, I sense a likely caveat. Since the Mann-conomy update, you could purchase premium items in a store. I think this means that those that truly wish to make their mark, will end up having to cough up money in microtransactions. Plus you also have to consider that there's probably a lot of angry customers that coughed up money for its standalone version or The Orange Box.

It's a rather so-so hat, but one you wouldn't have if you started playing after the Uber Update I guess. While I think it's neat, I can see having to deal with a lot of newbies now. On the flipside, if you haven't played TF2 yet you really have no reason (aside from a dislike of class based FPS games or something) not to give it a go now. If anything we might see an increase in =SB='s TF2 playing population, which would certainly be a welcome change. nod nod Besides, anyone who's been playing longer will have had a head start on the ever important hat collecting. We all know it's about the hats. xP

Personally, I'm not against the idea of one. I'd be neat for =SB= TF2 nights or something. shrug I guess we'll see who picks it up.

I'm super clumsy at computer games 2. I have slow internet. 3. My computer runs slowly 4. My video/graphics chip in my computer is very primitive. This all culminates into a very slow and framey experiance, in which I can only be a medic who heals people in my base. Sometimes.
