"yep, that works! don't you want one? or would you rather watch?" she asked. she didn't like water that much either, so she couldn't blame him. water actually took her power away, as did ice, so she had to stay out of it. |

Rosalina just watched and listened to what Sarah was going to ask. "Uhh, id prefer to just watch." Dash said. Whenever he got close to water he got pretty freaked out. He never learned to swim, plus he was almost drowned by the thugs that killed his parents, so he's got a pretty bad phobia. |

"okay. sounds good." she walked over to the edge of the running water. she put the net in the water, and, a few minutes later, a crawdad fell into it. "hah! I caught one!" she pulled the net up fast, so it couldn't get away. "look! isn't it so cool looking?" she held it by it's tail. it's red legs were moving in a squirming motion, it's claws clawing the air. she held it firmly, so it couldn't get away, but it wasn't getting hurt by her fingers, either. she held it close to his face. |

"not really. they get really stinky and dirty, so I don't think I'll keep it. I like catch and release, as you can tell." she smirked, and let the crawdad go. she put the net back in the water, but the next thing she caught she couldn't handle. a huge catfish. it was about 50 pounds, so she got pulled into the water. the water was more than neck deep, and she had never swum before. she got pulled under the water. by now, she had let the fish go with the net, but the stream, which was actually a fast moving river, was pulling her downstream! she tried to catch hold of the bottom of the river, but it was all sand and mud. no rocks to grab onto. she went up to get air, but didn't even get a full breath before she was pulled back down again. when she went up again, she yelled, "Dash!" took a short breath, and got pulled back under. by now she was a few miles downstream. |

Dash saw and was very scared. He had never swam before either. He had dealt with water before because of Eggman but couldnt swim. He wasnt about to let that stop him though, he promised her he would keep her safe. He ran towards her and reached out to her. His arms were short however so he couldnt reach her. He looked around and got an idea. He ran back a ways out of her view, then ran back and leaped over the river and grabbed her hand. His momentum pulled her out and across just barely. Dash fell and landed on his back, and since he was holding on to Claire he accidentally pulled her on top of him. Rosalina gasped also as she saw the ring. she rolled over on her back, and coughed. she was in no mood for romance now. she went up on her hands and knees and coughed up a bunch of water, in between coughs saying, "darn... *cough spurt* stupid... *cough* catfish..." she coughed, and took a deep breath. she was soaked to the bone. she lied down on her side, her power drained. she coughed a little more, and closed her eyes, unconscious. (dun dun DUN! sorry about making this RP so dramatic. I know it wasn't supposed to be that way. I guess I just have an awesomeness habit. ^^) Edited by ForestFox, Jun 23 2011, 12:46 PM.

(lol its fine, theres got to be parts like that) Dash was just laying there, rubbing his head. He had a lot of water splashed on him so he his heart was beating a lot faster. Even when water touched him he would get very scared. Eventually he sat up and looked over at Claire. "You... You alright?" He asked, taking deep breaths. She wasnt moving and he became even more scared. He tried to pick her up but he was even weaker than he was when they escaped Eggman's prison. He sat down for a bit and tried to come to his senses. Claire was unconscious, so she couldn't answer. they were a few miles from where they were supposed to be, so it was very unfamiliar and overgrown.

Dash took a few deep breaths and lifted her off the ground. He took ran around the river and back to the park. He was running pretty fast still but to him it seemed slow. Too slow. He tried to run faster but he almost tripped. He ran at the slow speed until he got back to the hotel. He grabbed a lighter from the smokers section and brought Claire back to her room. He lit the lighter and started moving it around her body so the heat would get everywhere. "Come on! Get hotter you damn thing!" He yelled lowly at the lighter. a few minutes of the heat touching her skin, and she was better. she opened her eyes, but her eyes had faded. not like it had when they had escaped the base, though. it had just turned maroon. "I'm still... *cough cough* wet, you know..." she was soaking her bed. she was still dripping wet.
