As many of you may know I've been trying to date this girl (Brittany) for a little under two weeks now. I've tried planning dates, I've tried spontaneous dates, I've even just tried going over to just see her. But every time I do I'm either stood up or (for the last one) told to go home. Now I'm usually a very forgiving person but after so long of dealing with this I just don't know why I'm giving her any chances at all. We've only been on two "dates"... If you want to call hanging out at her place and watching TV a date... I'm cool with that as one but it would be nice if she would have just gone to the movies with me instead of standing me up for failure. So my question to you all is: How many chances should someone get? I've been stood up at least 4 times in the past week. And every time I try to get a response (Which is usually after I try to contact her every hour after we had planned on meeting) she tells me I'm too clingy and then makes up an excuse for why she couldn't make it. I've begun to wonder about the legitimacy of her excuses at this point considering I've seen her grandma (Who was supposedly in the hospital and was the most used excuse) and she looked perfectly fine, and her car worked fine when I last saw it (Which was her alternate excuse). |
