The man they were refering to was apparently Lone Wolf's brother, who's name was Jared. The monkey would take mental notes as he heard that Jared wanted to kill his brother, was a flirt with Marié, and...he didn't press about this, but he made an assumption about what Jared might've done. In a way, Elias could sympathize with Lone Wolf to a point. He has issues with his own father. Sure, they didn't want to kill each other, but they would always seem to have a mental showdown whenever they saw each other. Elias had sensed a presence behind the group before it had made itself known, but only a few seconds beforehand. Elias looked to who the speaker was. Making a wise assumption, Elias would ask, "I would take it that you are this Jared we have heard about?" Elias' smile would still be present, but his eyebrows would be seen slanted inward, an indication that he was prepared to defend himself and the others should Jared choose to attack. (You haven't put Jared in a character sheet, so I don't know what to go by as far as appearances.)

Tevera sat patiently as he listed to Marié explain things better than Lone Wolf had, nodding occasionally to show he was listening. It didn't make sense to him how someone could be so murderous to their own family, but then again, when did most cases of murdering and jealousy, especially when put together, ever make a lot of sense? Tevera mentally shook his head at that. It wasn't worth pondering over. It would take the next great thinker to figure that question's answer. He just hoped that Lone Wolf's brother hadn't come by some sort of powers or advantages over the younger of brothers. The dragon, however, did not bother to try making the same mental assumptions that Elias might have; such matters did not allow for assuming things, Tevera always thought. At the sound of Jared's voice, Tevera snorted and turned his whole body to face the newcomer, taking the stance of an angry cat, displeased to know they had been watched by Jared so easily. The dragon carried a similar expression as Elias', though with more teeth and some smoke.

Lone Wolf scowled, but said nothing. "Hello, Marié, my dear. What brings you two here? Of all places?" Marié said nothing. She got ready in case Jared tried to get to close. She found her voice, and it was telling her to say something. "L-leave Wolfie alone, he's done nothing." she managed. Jared just laughed. "Come on, did you forget our last encounter already? Really, my dear." he turned to the dragon and monkey. "Nice smiles." was his only coment.

"now. little brother, does this have to be hard? I'm sure your 'other friend ' wouldn't want to see you relying on other people to fight for you." Lone Wolf scowled more, but he knew what Jared was talking about. But he didn't say anything. Mairé decided to step in. "Save it for another day. We're tired, Jared. Besides, Wolfie could take you anyday." she said. (The 'other friend' is a character in a book I wrote. I put Lone Wolf and Marié in it. I just thought I should say it, because I might metion him quiet a bit.)

I'd even be willing to check us into separate hotel rooms for the night on an account I have. I'm hopeful we may agree on this?" Elias would stop his gait when he was six inches away from Jared. His offer, which included Jared himself, was indeed sincere. The monkey's face, though, would intensify a bit, turning his smile into a kind of cocky smirk, as if visibly telling the human 'if you're wise, you will accept'. Nonetheless, the monkey's offer was quite generous for a group of people he had just met, especially for one he strongly felt would become a new enemy.

"Umm... Elias? About that young night thing... I think we really should turn in and find shelter... These things are getting more close the second." he said, not being able to hide the fact he was scared.
