Hydrocity Act 1 Posts: 83 Group: C Rank Adventurer Member #2,536 Joined: September 22, 2007	I guess I'll start an art topic? ^^; A lot of it isn't Sonic related, though I saw no guidelines or anything saying that it had to be Sonic related, so here I go! I'll just post a few for now! ^^ And also, please feel free to give me constructive criticism, I 'd love to know how to improve!!! c: ~Hikari~ This is a piece I finished a few months ago, with two of my original characters. It was actually based off of an animation that I made for my animation class (I can post that if you really wanna see it, it's sorta' poopy looking though. XD; )...I ended up really liking the character I made for the animation so i decided to stick with him, and make others of his 'species'. They're supposed to be wearing robes but they sorta' look...not like robes, haha. ~Giddyup!~ One of the skulled creatures from the first picture, with another little creature. ^.^ Sorry about the lack of a background...originally it was just a sketch in my sketchbook, it wasn't meant to be anything serious. Both types of creatures have a backstory, though I don't feel like typing it out, haha. ~WIP: Human Tikal~ Tikal the Echidna as a human! Not done yet, still needs to be colored and needs a background! I'm trying to find a new human style, because I want to break away from the anime style...so far it's just turning into a Disney-esque style...which could be good or bad. XD; ~Yami Marik: ::Alpha Dog::~ WARNING: THIS PICTURE IS SUGGESTIVE. It isn't pornographic or anything, pretty much just a shirtless man, but still...just being careful! But I really like how I drew it so i wanted to post it...djfhsjh moral dilemma. Dx ~Allegorical Still Life~ A still life I did for my Painting class a few weeks ago...haha, boring, I know. xD ~CRAZY~ I just like the coloring on this one, despite the crazilly wonky body, haha. ~Hmmmm~ WARNING: BLOOD. Just some more original characters. They also have a backstory...which I will probably never post, haha. ~Darkness~ More Yami Marik! I honestly wish I could give some contructive critism as I'd love to see how you'd get if you improved! It may be labeled as "Schoolwork" in the filename, but I am in love with "Allegorical Still Life" o: I dunno, it's awesome. Seriously. Just keep up making awesome works! =D

Gahh, working on that was horrendous, it took me three days nonstop to get it done before class...not the funnest weekend I've ever had, haha. I have more arts for now...not much, but I haven't been drawing all too much lately! ~ Anubis Sketch: WIP ~ This is actually a work in progress...I have much bigger plans for it. This is actually the plan for a big, big oil painting I'm going to be doing (for no particular reason, I just felt like working on a big project and painting, haha). My next job is to plan out a background, and then transfer the planned picture onto the canvas and start painting! I figured it's easier to plan out my piece on computer paper. :p Sorry about the HORRIBLE quality of this picture, haha, we have no scanner at the moment so I was forced to take a picture instead, and our house has hideous lighting. Dx ~ Rulers of the Pride~ I actually started this months ago before summer vacation started, but I got distracted and couldn't finish it due to finals, moving, and what have you. BUT, I just got the incentive and free time to finish it! Please excuse the derpy background, I'll probably go back to fix it up a little bit and make it look less flat...This is done in charcoal and is drawn on posterboard. The walls in my room are currently very bland, so I wanted something to hang up. Plus, I lovelovelove lions, so I figured why not! I love how the lioness came out, but I feel like there's something...off about the male lion, I don't know...haha. ~Animation: LICK~ ~LICK: Icon Version~ Animation I made to be my icon on DA...it looks better as an icon that as a regular animation, haha...I think tht's because the icon version moves faster. I might edit the bigger version to make it move faster like the icon. But yeah! Yami Marik! I'm a little obsessed, haha. ~The Pale Man~ The pale Man from Pan's Labyrinth...that's about it, haha. ~Nurse 1~ ~Nurse 2~ ~ Nurse 3~ ~ Nurse 4~ Okay, I dunno if you guys would count cosplay as art, but I'll post these here anyway unless someone says something...me in my Silent Hill Bubblehead Nurse costume I wore last year at Connecticon 2010. ~Silver: Lollipop~ Oldoldold picture of Silver I drew a couple of years ago, in his Sonic Rivals secret outfit! I figure I should post something Sonic-related since it�s a Sonic forum� XD; I haaaate this picture now, haha (coloring's just horrible, gaahhhh), but Sonic fans seem to like it still so I guess I'll post it! ~WIP~ A nameless work in progress of Yami Mairk (what a shocker, haha). ~Another WIP~ Another nameless work in progress...this time of Yugi! ~Human Tikal: WIP~ The work in progress of human Tikal I posted in the my first post, 'cept a little color and shading added. It's not even close to done, haha...The lines are going to be muuuuch less bold, and there's gonna be a background and such...probably even more contrast in the shading. BUT, I like how it's coming out so far, I wanted to share it! ~Tombkeepers~ I am unsure whether I like this picture or not...I like the coloring, but I don't like how the characters are drawn...dilemma, dilemma! More Yu-Gi-Oh fanart. xP ~Breakfast~ WARNING: SUGGESTIVE Another rather suggestive picture of Yami Marik, much like the Alpha Dog picture I posted before. Not pornographic, though it is a bit suggestive, so click at yoru own risk. usually I wouldn;t post something like this, but I really like the coloring and the anatomy in general, so I'll risk posting it. XD; ~Thiefshipping~ Sorry...I had to post it. XD; Yu-Gi-Oh yaoi...Thiefshipping. XD; posting this because it was a good style-experiment for me. Sorry about all the Yu-Gi-Oh fanart...it's my main thing I draw, haha...I have much much more of it than what i've posted so far, but I'm trying to spare you guys from overloading the topic with it, haha. I used to color without using much a of a light source or anything, so I've been trying to use more dramatic lighting and not make it looks as "blendy" and all around light! I've been practicing with it, but I still have a while to go! And gahh, it really is! Half of the art blocks I have are because I can't think of any original ideas. Dx Well, I've been super busy as of late so I don't have much to show, but I DO have this that I just finished. Once again, YuGiOh fanart...I'm sorry. xD;; ~In the Morning~
