So yeah I'm actually liking the look of the Wii U. You guys seem to forget that we have been given awkward controllers all the time. Take the N64 for example. I think most people to this day still are confused by why the controller looked so weird and had to be held differently than most. It's almost become a running joke among my buddies back at the dorm. And then we have the original Xbox controller. It was also bulky and weird. This is no different. I haven't tried the 3DS yet but from the looks of it I think it looks pretty alright. Now whether it works for me or not I don't know. I'm blind in one eye so who knows if I can enjoy the experience to its fullest. But I'm more interested in the games rather than the funky gimmicks. It's cool to have them but without a good repertoire of games I typically will ignore a new toy such as this. Now I especially like that the Wii U is backwards compatible with all the old controllers for the Wii and can do all that the Wii can do and more. And it even supports HDMI. So yeah it's got a lot that is intriguing. But I'm also interested in the Vita. That looks interesting but whether or not I get it is a different story. I need to see a better list of games before I even think about getting it. With the Wii U for me it would be mostly for the upgrade. Plus I like the idea of using SD cards to store all of the data rather than a single small hard drive. I've almost run out of room on my Wii for games so it's a reasonable idea. Especially cause I can't run save data off of an SD card. There's a lot of problems with all systems. It's a fact of life. So let's move on and deal with it. And no I don't believe any system is better. They are all just games meant for entertainment purposes. So arguing about which is better is starting to get old fast. I hate seeing these stupid arguments over which is better cause it just makes both parties seem like idiotic nimrods and fanboys. I'm sorry to say but you both need to take a chill pill and stop getting at each others throats about this. I'm not even a mod and I'm getting tired of it. So either shut it and move on or ignore each other cause we're all friends here. And I hate to see tension between friends. Isn't that why we're here anyways. I know it's one of the biggest points of this community. We're supposed to be a friendly community so we need to start acting like it. /endrant |

Is this likely Pikmin 3? It was hinted several times recently, but I thought it was confirmed as a Wii game. Or is this another Pikmin? But I thought Pikmin is a very underrated series, so I'll have this on my wishlist when I eventually get a Wii U. We're not really arguing over which is better. Or well, I'm not at least. I'm arguing over Bowie's completely unnecessary comment. But anyway, I moved on and won't even bother respond anymore to this. It's getting silly I admit. Edited by Fenroar, Jun 8 2011, 12:36 PM.

Lol, lots of PC gamers pissed at Dust 514 being exclusive to PS3. I don't see why though, they still have Eve Online to play. They aren't getting shafted. |

Alright, going to get this out of the way as its bound to start the fanboys off again. Its been brought to light that some of the 3rd party Wii U titles shown in the trailer are not running on the Wii U itself and this has apparently shocked people. Why? Anyone will half a brain cell could have worked that out, It would be extreamly unlikely that games companies would have full games ready to demonstrate while Nintendo itself could only show tech demos. besides its not the first time this sort of thing has happened at E3. the 360 did a similar sort of thing when it was first announced. Another thing people seem to be going crazy about is that Nintendo's stock dropped by 5.63% after the Wii U announcement. Again not really surpising as investors are always adverst to change as change equal risk, I'm pretty sure they suffered a similair drop after the Wii was annouced. Finally Nintendo president Satoru Iwata gave a hint on the price . . . Kinda. Stating to the Nikkei news service that it will 'probably cost more than ¥20,000 (About $250/£150)'. |

Fanboys don't own all three systems when they can/wish to, fenris.. |3 I'm just saying you tend to be really protective of EVERYTHING Nintendo does. Then again that seems to be the way a ton of Nintendo addicts (and all other hardline fanboys of anything) act these days (not ALL, just quite a few) That said don't want this turning into a pointless back and forth so now that the last words are in.. Game beholding time! |

*facepalm* Now your posts are just getting stupid and ridiculous. I would reply to that in a big long rant but I'll be simply repeating myself as you're CLEARLY not even reading my posts, or not understanding them, as I care very little about about your opinion. Tell me, if I was really protective, why did I not reply to Neo's for the matter. He said the same thing as you, and once again, I only argued about yours because your last comment was completely stupid and unnecessary. Say whatever you want next. You're not understanding or reading a word I'm saying. I won't bother respond to whatever you have to say next, knowing you, as it seems you're not even understanding my posts so I rest my case. Eh, so it's more than the Wii. Can't say I'm surprised. But Nintendo wouldn't release the console so high(Let's not forget the PS3's disastrous launch with its 600$ price tag), and the same would go for its controllers. If they make the console and the controllers too high, then sales would be off to a bad start and Ninty's stocks would plummet so Nintendo knows this and wouldn't make it too high... hopefully. I say around 300$-400$. Edited by Fenroar, Jun 9 2011, 06:32 AM.

As far as E3 goes... I'm still excited about the Vita, it remedies all of the problems with the PSP and adds more. It's currently the #1 selling item on Amazon's top video game list just by preorders. Uncharted 3 already has over 20 award nominations! Looks like they'll take the show like they did in '09 with Uncharted 2. The ship level looked absolutely stunning and the stealth looks SOOOOO much better than in Uncharted 2. http://twitter.com/#!/Naughty_Dog/status/78726711939833856 Also is anyone else impressed with Sony's new Playstation-branded TV? It's 3D and supports multiple players but the thing that makes it unique is that instead of being split screen, each player sees their own screen in FULL screen! So while your friend is playing on the same screen, he is seeing something entirely different! It is pretty awesome. It is also affordable for a 3D TV. The PlayStation 3D display bundle comes with the television, an HDMI cord, Resistance 3 and one set of active shutter glasses for US$500. It will be available in the third quarter of this year. http://www.pcworld.com/article/229776/hands_on_with_sonys_playstation_3d_display.html Edited by Neo Metallix, Jun 9 2011, 07:30 AM.
