Posts: 4,799 Group: Former Monarchs Member #7,312 Joined: April 10, 2008 Playstation Network ID: Allbowdown Xbox Live Gamertag: allbowdown	As you may or may not know... the Rapture will occur on May 21st at 6pm.. of course, the bible isn't sure if that's pacific or mountain or whatever time.. Sandford Fleming didn't exist when people wrote the Bible. So.. who knows, maybe Armageddon will hit each time zone at 6pm consecutively.. But yeah on the 22nd I plan to wake up and brush my teeth after enjoying the Preakness Stakes the day prior during the rapture. I sure hope the horses can run well during the super earthquake that is likely to be happening.

We are just coming out of a extremely long Ice Age, so if anything the planet will heat up over the course of about 20 thousand years, until the planets begins it's climate decent back into the Ice Age. But about the lining of gasses, the date is actually a prediction of when the Earth, the Sun, the center of the Milky Way Galaxy and several other galaxies line up with the center of the Universe. Supposedly the gasses Earth received from the center of the Universe will be cut off, causing a massive rupture in the Mantle, snapping the Crust of the Earth. Farfetched, huh? The Earth has several times intersected this linear lineup, most recently being 262 B.C.E, around the same time the Roman empire ruled Europe. It just doesn't match up. Very long? Yeah right, no one knows anything about the historical climate. All they do is piece bits and pieces together and make facts to support theories instead of theories to support facts. The world isn't going to end, the Mayan calendars were merely depicting astrological ages, like you described.. and the Lunar Age is what we are passing out of.

I'm certain this is the only thing you are wrong about. We are not even that close to hitting the peek of the global warming (the natural one, NOT the AL Gore one). In estimation, scientist predict it's going to get far more hotting in a longer time span than what you mentioned.

I was supposed to see the Indians game that day but when I tried getting tickets last week they were sold out, 4 days before the game, because of free jersey day. I also lived to see another day. (Not because of the rapture bologna but because I was in the "hood" or the "concrete Vietnam" as Ice Cube would say.)

Just to say it: An Ice Age is technically defined by the presence of polar ice. We are currently in a warm period of an ice age.

I'm going to go out on a limb and put my not college science education on the line and say those Scientists are dumb. Looking at all the graphs, our atmosphere/Ozone/whatever has a breaking point.. much like a balloon.. The hotter it gets, the more the gases will expand, which would put more pressure on the Ozone.. so yeah it may get hotter for a little while, but that will be unsustainable. That crackpot Gore had the line going continuously upward and sharply when scientific precedent is right there staring him in the face, saying sooner or later, the atmosphere will "pop" to alleviate gas pressure.

We sped it up, what was done can't be undone, and sooner or later the planet will have to let pressure up. In short yes I know about Gore (no reading.. just from what I've seen of him) and I haven't liked him since long before "The Inconvienient Truth" I honestly believe that we were voting between a turd sandwich and a giant douche when we had to pick between Bush and Gore.. so as hokey as that election was, I can't say Gore would have been any better than what we got... Kerry on the other hand, probably much better. All I can say is that Ross Perot was right regarding the NAFTA deal signed into law by Gore, Clinton, and Bush 1.. it was a horrible move for the economy. C'est la vie.
