Most of the people in this place seem to be young enough to still have to go to school, so I thought I'd throw this out there. When do you get out of school for the year? Preferably a date instead of "I have X days left." I happen to be getting out on the 26th of May. Edited by Wallace, May 18 2011, 05:45 PM.

Actually we didn't start until the 15th of January. But college semesters are somewhat shorter anyways. Or at least that's what I've seen.

Look, we're not a set of automatons bound limb and neck to an arbitrary set of rules; we, the members and the staff, are thinking people, and as people we can see that when the idea of a thread is to answer a simple question, "Tomorrow >3" and "I get out tomorrow >3" are not substantially different. If anythings spam, it's those backseat-modding posts which completely ignore a topic in order to inform someone that their posts need to be more needlessly verbose >: Edited by Katsuko, May 19 2011, 02:57 PM.

And I am going to hopefully quell any arguements that may come from this; Yes, we have a rule that states that the posts people write, sans those in the Casino of course, should be three or more words. However, Yves' post was still on topic, and thus I would not consider it 'spam'. On the other hand, Derpy, you went off topic to backseat mod, something that people may very well consider much worse than people posting less than three words in a post. We have staff for a reason. If, and I am speaking to pretty much every member here, you feel as though someone has broken a rule, report it, and let us, the staff, figure out what course of action to take, m'kay? Thank you for your time, and you may now continue the topic as it was supposed to be. :3 |

This I must agree with. I personally have done some backseat modding but I've tried to stop more recently. But on topic: I know the High schools in my area are done tomorrow. (May 20th) So I'm glad for my friends who are in HS.
