The timer on the display had hit 0:00 and was flashing as the cryostasis tube slid open. The person inside began to stir. His vision was blurry as he adjusted from the transition. He looked around and found a small suitcase next to his tube. He opened it and found all of his belongings. "Hm... Well Koga. I guess the test was a success," he laughed nervously. He got dressed and then looked around the room. There were several broken computers and computer towers. Some papers lay on the floor scattered every which way. Dust filled the air as light from a hole in the ceiling filtered in. He stumbled over toward the door across from the tube. Stepping through it he found a hallway with what should have had a glass enclosure. But instead it was broken and in fragments glass scattered on the ground. The city around was worn and looked like it had seen better days. Smoke billowed around from fires. It was sunset as he stared at the horizon. He made his way across and came across a lobby area with elevators. He figured he'd try one of them but he didn't think it would. To his surprise it did and he stepped on pushing the button for the first floor. He turned and looked out the glass enclosure which was still in tact. He watched as he descended towards the city floor. He thought he caught movement off in the distance but he couldn't be sure. He stepped off the elevator and made his way out of the building. The elevator behind him dropped just as he walked out the door. He saw the street which was littered with trash. "Might as well get a move on. I'm gonna need to find a way to survive. Maybe I can find some company," he sighed as he began walking down the street towards the setting sun. As he walked it began to rain making the city less welcoming than it already was. (Okay. Well here you go Red Fox. Sorry for the delay. ^_^) |

*Meanwhile on the whole opposite side of the destroyed town* The scene was not a good one....If there were any living creatures to even witness the events that were unfolding at supposedly abandoned automated mech lab. From the outside it looked like there nothing of interest happening.....but on the inside.....was a whole another story as a small scale war was being raged against one rogue cyborg that wasn't connected when a worldwide virus infected all mechanical & partially mechanical beings. The fight was very one sided. yet the battle moves outside as a red & blue 5 tailed hybrid comes running holding 3 daggers. "10 daggers.......5,000 or more robots.....I can win if I cant get to my weapons......" the kit grumbles & dashes into a nearby alley way as a hail of laser fire spews from the opening he just rain out of. most of the blast nicks Red's mechanical arm disrupting his cloaking system that hides the true depth of his mechanization. "OW.......those beams can cut right through my weaponium alloys....Gotta watch my step...." after taking not of there devastating weaponry gave the hybrid more of flight mindset. "What was I doing in there? why is everything destroyed....& more importantly.....why are all the machines attacking me? I remember working on nearly half of these.....They had no weapons on them....." The kits indecisiveness could cost him in the long just like it did now. the whole time he was talking the kit didn't the pole on front of him which he slams into with a loud thud before falling falt on his butt. his daze was quickly wiped clean as a another bolt singes the tip of his tail making the kit yelp and unknowingly dash towards Koga's position. "Oh man.....I really hope this works i really hope this works....." as he was running the hybrid draws a small knife with a blinking handle. "my last dagger......" He stops & spins around throwing the dagger on the floor between him & the advancing swarm. "This.....is going to.......hurt....." once the dagger was imbedded in the ground the hybrid opens his mouth spitting out a very small fireball showing some his draconic side. the second the orb of fire hit the dagger a mini-nuke like implosion ensues sending the cyborg flying through nearly 6 buildings which all collapse from the explosion before face-planting in the ground parts of his head, ears & shoulder blade sparking. "OWWWW......there goes my new ear....." the kit twitches his right organic ear & sighs happily before conking for a few seconds. |

Koga saw the creature just as it had come out of the building. He side stepped it before it crashed into him. He pulled out his board readying himself for a fight. He hopped on and just floated there waiting for the first strike. He wasn't about to lose a possible companion. Not now, not ever. "Well this sucks. I get frozen in a block of ice only to be thawed out and trapped in a sewer. God it smells down here," said a voice in the darkness of the sewer. Skye had been looking for a way out now for several hours but couldn't seem to find a ladder to the surface. It didn't help that her vision was still coming back to her from being frozen. She felt along the wall and her hand hit something hard and metallic. She thumped it again and it made a ringing sound like that off a ladder. She grabbed hold of the first rung and began her climb. As the climb went on she noticed a small light from the top. She faintly heard the sound of a battle. She pushed the cover off the hole and looked around noticing the environment. Not far away she saw someone on a hoverboard and what looked like a dragon hybrid. She jumped out doing a backflip in the air and landing on all fours. She righted herself and dashed over to their position going immediately to help the little kit. "Well this is just great," she sighed as she looked over the kit. "I don't think that creature is completely dead. It's probably just readying for another attack," Koga said staring off in the distance. |

Red wakes up holding his head the cloaking device in his left shoe activating hiding all of his injuries & every sign of being mechanized. The only injury left was a long healed scar across his left eye. "Ow......My head.......Are the crazy scary machines gone?" The kit stands up & falls on his knees the camouflage device unable to hide the sparks from his knees and ears. "URghh.....I hate using mini-boom boom dagger......The implosion of those things are like 3 human Fual-air bombs compressed into a 6 inch in a half blade......" his yammering & talking to himself lead Red to not notice the group around him. when he finally does the hybrid jumps into a defensive stance drawing his broken broadsword which was nearly 2 times his size. It was so unwieldy for Red that the blade was only a last resort for him. "Please!? i'm not one the crazy robots.....please don't hurt me!" Sadly though Red was in no fighting condition and if this group proved to be bad then his life span was clearly cut which shows when he falls flat on his chest droppign the broken sword. "NRGHHH! I can barely move!" |

"Why would we hurt you?" Skye said as she turned to see the little kits reaction. She noticed it seemed mechanical but it seemed to be intelligent. "I know I won't but whatever you were fighting might. Do you know what's going on? What's happened to the world?" Koga said staring off in the direction of the destroyed buildings. He couldn't see much with nighttime slowly approaching so he wanted to get a move on. (Sorry for the shortness. Not much I can think of to say or do. ^_^) |

Red forces himself to sit up upon figuring out he was around friends. "Your not going to hurt me?" while waiting for a answer the kit sniffs the air only to find the smell of burnt circuitry overwhelming his senses. "Eyargh......Now is not a good time for intros.....I'm sure that path of destruction lured more of them.....I'll explain once were away from here....these....things well....They can track me......cause.....Umm.....you see.....I was recently um.....fixed.....or so I think....Urghh...i'm rambling......look....as much as i'd like intros we need to get as much distance from here & the distraction....fast! i'm out of weapons & theres a freaking mini-army of wild machines chasing me!" |

"Well then I suggest you get up and get ready for a quick flight. We're gonna have some fun getting out. I know I saw a forest in the distance. So that will be our destination," Koga said. And slowly began to move his board forward as if telling them to get a move on. Skye stood up and readied herself for the run. She saw the area as a means for travel and mapped out the best movement pattern for the area. She waited on the kit before she took off running at her full speed bounding off the terrain keeping pace with Koga as he sped across the terrain on his hoverboard ducking in and out between building parts that stuck out of the ground. |

(hehe.......if Red gets to confusing i can simplify him if needed.) Red chuckles hearing this. The group remind the hybrid of old friends he had before the disaster yet had more things to worry about what about his sister & decoy? did they survive whatever happened? did they know what happened during his charging phase or even why he was stuck in the charge loop. Yet know was not the time to of such things....Survival was more important now.....well.....that & finding a place full of kunais or throwing knives. without those the only thing the kit could provide was barriers & fix anything that breaks. Seeing as how he was down to his last legs of items. "Hoverboard...Hehe.....let's see how fast that is compared to this." The hybrid goes on all fours dashing towards the forest a small glint of wings growing more prominent the faster he went. The more feral the hybrid got the more draconic he got & vice Versa. "Race you to the forest!" |

"Well let's have a bit of fun then," Koga grinned letting his goggles down and his hair whip in the wind. He kicked a flipswitch on his board and the back end folded inward revealing three large boosters. Skye jumped on and held tight to Koga knowing she would be left behind otherwise. "Here we... GO!" he yelled as the boosters activated sending debris flying and destroying a support beam on a building sending it crashing down. They quickly accelerated to approximately 300 MPH and Koga jumped off a ramp. The ground was far below him but he could see several machines down below and the forest still at least a 10 minute ride away at his current speed. Skye stared on holding on for dear life. Her hair was whipped back and her face could be seen in its entirety. |

Red watches the two & grins easily remains caught up cleaving through one of the two robots in his path the wings completely visible & his fur slowly turning into scales as the fur sheds. "Fast indeed these ones are....." the impact & force needed to cleave the robot would of been to great for the hybrid in his non-feral form but the action barely harmed him in this form. *growling* "Is that all the speed you got? I havn't even spread my wings yet. "Well RRR......if you can keep this speed up till we reach the forest I feel it's safe to start talking. "My Name is Red F. Kitsune....Also known as Shen in some cultures. As for you two?" |

"This isn't even close to her full tested speed. But I am not about to go that far. Last time I nearly broke a limb," Koga laughed. "And the names Koga. Koga Harine. I'm somewhat of a mechanical genius." He spun around cutting a few machines just as they tried to grab onto the board. "Skye. Skye Nightwind. I'm just trying to figure out what the hell is going on here. Last I remember I was fighting some odd ice creature in the sewers and next thing I know I'm waking up laying in the sewers with ice chunks laying around me," Skye yelled her eyes closed. She didn't have the luxury of goggles to protect her eyes from the wind. |

Red kept running towards the forest making a mental note to fashion the young lady some goggles later in case they ever had to run yet remains silent as the group slashes through all the advanced scouts sent to find him. Even after reaching the forest & stands up causing his body to revert back to it's kitsunic form. "Koga......Skye........as I said before.....my name is Red.....& well.....I'm well...." The kit scratches his head chuckling nervously. "Heck I really don't know what I am or if that is even my real name but it's what I go by so I guess it is. as for what's going on....I have absolutely no clue. all I know is my systems did a full reboot when a invasive program tried to reprogram me. whatever is going on....i have the feeling the others fell victim to it." *nervous laughter* "I was....umm.....well.....I'm a bit of a cluts &....well....last thing I remember was checking into my room to let my nanites fix me up. next I know i'm in a factory full or mad robots trying to turn me into molten metal & fur....." the kit sighs and remains very twitchy about everything. "when this is over......i'm gonna need a mechanic & doctor after this........again......" |

"Well I can take a look at you later. I've got some of my tools here in my pack so that's not a problem for mechanics and I do have some medicinal practice," he said after they had arrived in the midst of the forest. Skye did a backflip off the board and landed in a nearby tree and stared off into the city and was quiet. "So yeah I got here due to an experiment that my dad was testing... It was a success but I probably should have had a plan for getting back. I'll have to try and fashion a way to get back eventually but for now we just need to stay alive," Koga sighed and looked up at Skye. "So I take it your the quiet type then? Or are you just lost in thought. I can't be sure. I was never very good at reading women," he laughed a little from his own comment. "I guess you could say that. I try to keep to myself for the most part. But right now staying with you two would probably be my best bet for survival. But don't try anything funny," she disappeared and had a knife at Koga's throat in an instant," or the machines will be the least of your worries." Koga stood still and cracked a grin. Even with a knife at his throat he knew better than to show fear. It was something he had learned as a kid. "So very forward. I wouldn't think of it. But be forewarned that just cause you can move in the shadows like that doesn't guarantee victory. I have an odd feeling that there is more than just machines," he said and turned to face her carefully making sure the knife didn't cut him. A few strands of hair fell as he turned. "Although personally I have found it's better to take my time with learning about a woman. So mysterious. So beautiful," he lightly touched her cheek which made her blush and her grip on the knife loosened and he popped it out of her hand with a hard shoulder bump to her wrist and it fell, "Remember to not let your guard down. If I was anyone else you'd more than likely be dead. By the look of your equipment I'd say your a shinobi," he said as he turned and started to walk away, "Although for a shinobi your emotions seem to be a little more... vibrant... Now Red was it?" he said turning to the kit. "What do you think our course of action should be? We eventually need to find food and possibly parts depending on your state," he said. Skye just stared at him with an odd longing look on her face. Her cheeks were completely red. She quickly shook her head and picked up her knife and just stared at Koga as if she hated him. But for some reason she seemed to have a hard time keeping up that glare. And so she leaned up against a tree with her back to both Red and Koga. |

Red leans against a nearby tree uncoiling his 2 blue tipped tails revealing he really had 5 & stands there listening to his new acquaintances go at it like they knew each other for a long time & simply chuckles "Heh......these two bring back memories....." The hybrid made a logical note to forget this little quarrel the two had. yet before he could dust off his torn lab coat or temporal distortion belt for power the red & white kit notices Koga asking him of all people for advice. "OWHA!?" He was so unused to being the guide that being asked in the first place was a pure surprise in itself. "I...Umm...Well....." he clears his throat a few times and fidgets with his hands. "ERRR.....No one ever asks me for my opinion......Considering the fact I have friends with me now I guess.....the first order is to scout the area. This is.....Ehehe....usually the tme I would contact my nearest garrison for the latest scout....Argh....what am I saying....I don't even....." the kit spins around punching the tree with right arm wincing in great pain before calming down again. & turning to the group. "I'm sorry about that.....it's just i'm not used to having company....so....I may do things that seem un orthodox.....or brash.......yet enough rambling.....I have 3 viable options all which can be executed in any order.....they are as follows....1.....if i'm going to be any help in a combat situation....i'm gonna need lots of throwing Knives, Kunais, spare metal &.....if....were lucky a blacksmith shop. My....escape took every trick & tool I had.....& then more..... second.....were gonna need some food and water.....so....we could either go foraging or hunting or if willing to risk split up in hopes of more variaty....thirdly.....we need to figure out just.....were the heck we are! again these are just my thoughts on the situation mr. Koga & Mrs. Skye if they seem to absurd or crazy i'm open for alternatives." The hybrid finally notices he was rambling again & quickly shuts his maw smiling like complete dolt wishing he wouldn't do that when get a nervous attack. |

"Well we could use scrap metal to make you some weapons and such. That's not too hard with all the robots that are flying around. The food and water we can get from the forest for the time being. That is if you'll be fine with vegetation as a food source for a while," Koga said. "From what I can tell this is what became of Station Square. At least in this future. I'm guessing machines took over and killed off all life," Skye stated from her spot in the trees. "Well then we should get to looking for scrap metal first. Sound good to you Red?" Koga asked not really wanting to pay attention to Skye right now. |
