"Whether or not I damaged this 'Hydra' of yours is none of your concern," Force replied, trying to keep the robots in the dark about whether or not he was the one. "The point is that I am here to rescue Sonic, and if you don't prevent me from doing so, I won't have to touch you. Force held up his electrically charged finger. "Touching all this electrical energy will fry your circuits until you have no working ones left. Believe me, you don't want that." Force hoped the robots would make their decision quickly, be it fight or flight, as he only had about ninety seconds of energy usage left. Even more than that, he hoped the robots wouldn't call his bluff and choose the former of the two options. If they did that, and they were a significant threat, Force might have to choose between his and Sonic's life and that of the robots. |

(All you nice people where probably wondering why I wasn't updating. The reason is simple. I was procrastinating.) @Aaron: (Let's go with that and end the confusion.) You follow the bot along the ledge a ways and see an open door with light spilling out. This seems to be where the voices are coming from. @742: The bot motions towards another. That bot hands him some paper and a pen. The bot quickly writes something on the paper. He shows it to you. It reads, "Anything you, I, or any of us say is recorded. Therefore we can't just let you pass. Could we have a short, mock battle so we don't get dismantled?" He carefully hands you the paper and pen. @Epic & Segalove: You enter the area and find what seems to be a cave system hewn out of the rock. There are tables and counters that are part of the earth. The room you are in seems to be a former lab, based on all the dilapidated equipment. You can't see very far into the room, and, until there are lights, you won't be able to see what is going on more than a few feet from the opening. Another blast echos behind you. A few rocks shake lose from the opening. The interior seem completely intact. (You are in a lost branch of The Underground.) The Casino: 742 mph The Circus: None The Underground: Aaron Kunai, Segalove, Epic NO! Sayer Wait, four players? Oh yeah. |

Force considered the situation. The robots could be tricking him by doing this, distracting him so he would fall into a trap. On the other hand, since they weren't directly recieving orders from their genius creator, their AI probably wasn't smart enough for that. Force slowly nodded his head in agreement with the robots' plan, and charged his hands with electricity--not enough to kill a robot, but enough to look like he was actually trying. "Very well," Force said. "If you refuse to let me pass, then I'll have to deal with you the harder way." Force lunged at a deliberately slower-than-usual pace towards the robots, faking a charge to get past the group.

Aaron then noticed after following the 'bot an open door. However, he didn't want to follow the 'bot right into the door. He then noticed a cardboard box lying around. it seemed large enough for Aaron and champ. |

@742: The robots fired shots that where aimed to miss. The four in front of the hall jumped out of the way while firing. One shouts, "Stop him! He's getting away!" They plod along behind you, slowly. Eventually a few more shot are fired and you hear the faint crackle of a radio. @Aaron: (I'm guessing you get in the box.) You notice a large cardboard box sitting on the ground. You flip over the box and both you and Champ get in. You begin to shuffle your way into the room. You hear a conversation going on in the room. "So, remind me why we should form a treaty with you?" "Because we have the same motives." "The same motives? Ha! You want to "free" your "god" from his human form and we want to kill the demon that forced us down here. Same motives my left stabilizer." "Yes, but we- why is that box moving?" "Hmm? Oh, probably some makeshift robot somebody made when they grew tired of waiting. Just ignore it." |

Well, that was easy, Force thought to himself. Now I just have to give them an excuse for letting me get away. Force turned his head towards the robots and gave a quick wink, letting them know he was still trying not to destroy them. Focusing the magnetic side of his electromagnetic power, Force attempted to magnetize the robots to each other so they would be stuck and not be able to pursue. |

Aaron's heart slowed down. He just stood there, the box over him and champ, and listening to the conversation. Treaties? motives? exactly what was going on down here? This was about to get interesting. |

(Where's Segalove and Epic? Each is probably waiting for the other to do something. Probably. Hey you two, do something!) @742: You hear the sounds of metal hitting metal. One of the bots yells, "Oh, of course, I get the experimental pain receptors and I get stuck in the middle of a robotic Katamari" Another voice speaks up, "Sorry to bother you sir, but there's a problem..." @Aaron: "Excuse me sir", said a voice, "The Derstreks are attacking our defenses at the blast door." The voice of the being that wants to kill some demon spoke, "Well then, it appears I have a problem. I'll be leaving now. We'll continue this conversation at a later time." There is the footsteps of several robots leaving. After a moment you hear the voice of the being who wants to save their god. "You two can come out from under that box now." |

Well, I got that out of the way, Force thought to himself as he continued on. I wonder what's down this hallway... Then he heard a voice. Force stopped dead in his tracks, partially in shock, partially to listen. It said, "Sorry, sir, but there's a problem..." Force guessed that the "sir" was either a powerful, intelligent robot or Eggman himself, and that the "problem" was him. Force continued on down the corridor, a bit faster this time. Hopefully whatever was going to confront him did it quickly, because he only had about thirty-five seconds left of his current charge, and he wanted to make the most of it. |
