Casino Rescue; There's a circus too.

 So I came up with this idea from out of nowhere. Here it goes. (This is gonna be great.)
Eggman has captured Sonic (Real original). He needs to be saved before Eggman kills him, because he likes messing with people, and he wants payback on him for all the plan foiling. Eggman's base is currently a large circus/casino themed area (The Circus and The Casino are two different areas, but they do connect), and he makes income via an actual casino and circus. The interior area where most of this will occur is a giant labyrinth of rooms with hidden panels, traps, robots, you know, the whole Eggman bit. You know that Eggman resides at the very top of the complex. After Sonic went missing, The Casino and The Circus shut down, and a message went out worldwide that Sonic had been captured.
So, yeah, that's the basic story. Now, the people you will be playing are mainly fan characters, but you can play a canon character if you want.

Rules to Join:
1. Story as to why that character is going in.
2. Must have character sheet, perferably in this format, here.
3. I approve
4. You are not a registered @$$. (There may be exceptions.)

I will sort of be the GM here. I am Eggman, Eggman's robots, and the area.

Rules of Play:
1. This may be in lower class RP, but please, no "one liners."
2. Give me a chance to act.
3. You may say you did something, but I can override it. (Ex. I jump over the pit. It's to big to just jump over, so you fall in.)
4. Out of Character is in parens -> ()
5. No godmodding.

(This won't work, and your story is all over the place. Shut up, maybe they won't notice.)

Battle Information:

Skills: When Force absorbed the piece of the Chaos Emerald of Physics, it turned him into a living kinetic converter, of sorts: he can control the five fundamental forces of the universe, but cannot create an excess of them; he needs to draw on the potential energy of the objects around him in order to control the fundamnetal forces corresponding to the type of potential energy he absorbed. So even Force has to obey the law of conservation of energy.
He controls gravity when he has a lot of gravitational potential energy; in other words, when he is high up, such as on the top of a mountain or tall building, as well as when he is being pulled along rapidly. Electromagnetism comes in when Force is near to a large amount of electricity or an electrokinetic being. Force can use the Strong Nuclear force when he comes in contact with a large amount of ions, and the Weak Nuclear force when he is near a nuclear or chemical reaction taking place. As for the fifth, the cosmological constant, he can only control that when--you guessed it--in space.
Techniques: Likes to charge his body with electromagnetic energy and then run past a robotic enemy, hitting them with his charged arm in the process and causing them to short-circuit before the robot can react.
Strengths: His powers, slight smarts
Weaknesses: Easy to sneak up on, can get cocky when defeating many enemies very fast, making him easy to trick because he doesn't stop to think
Weapons: Only the aforementioned Chaos Emerald fragment
Ability Type: Power

History: Force grew up living a normal life in an Eggman-less alternate dimension, until he was 10 when he saw a strange glow coming from a mountain near his home as he was walking home from school. He went to investigate instead of going straight home like he was supposed to. In a cave on the mountainside, he found that a piece of a Chaos Emerald had been chipped off. He picked it up, deciding to take it back home, but the piece absorbed itself into him, giving him the ability to command the five fundamental forces (gravity, electromagnetism, the two nuclear forces, and the cosmological constant) of his dimension, but only one at a time, and in limited amounts. When he figured out how to use these abilities, most of the people he knew were horrified, and his parents decided that these powers in the hands of a child were too dangerous and, weeping, had to send him away. Force lived on the run for four years, trying to find people who hadn't heard the story of the super-hedgehog who couldn't power down, getting what food and water he could, and using a sleeping bag as his only shelter on stormy nights. When he had just turned fourteen, he found another Chaos Emerald lying around, the Chaos Emerald of Position. He accidentally fired a bolt of Physics-type Chaos Control at it, causing it to open up into a dimensional portal that sent him to the core dimension. The Chaos Emerald of Position was later found and kept safe by his dimension's Knuckles.
Force found himself on the other side of the portal, sitting somewhere in the Greenhill Zone. He was extremely confused, since the Greenhill Zone of his dimension had been converted into the city of Mobotropolis III twelve years ago. He wandered around a bit, trying to familiarize himself with the alternate Greenhill Zone, until he saw a young fox battling a squadron of SWATbots. The fox was using a complex distract-irritate-dodge strategy that even Force couldn't quite figure out. He later asked the fox who he was, and he learned that the fox's name was Blast and that he was a member of a group of anthropomorphs who fought against Eggman. Force was even more confused by this, as as far as he knew, Eggman was dead. He explained his problem to Blast, who easily figured out that he must have arrived from an alternate universe, and then asked him how it happened. Force explained how the Chaos Emeralds of Physics and Position had caused a dimensional warp, and Blast replied that they couldn't recreate that setup in his dimension because the Chaos Emeralds of Blast's dimension had no unique powers, so it was impossible to locate an alternate Chaos Emerald of Position. Force decided that he wanted to join the anti-Eggman fight, to make Blast's dimension as good as his own, and he put off finding a way back since there was nothing left in his own world for him. He later met up with various other Eggman-fighters, such as Kilo the Hedgehog and Bhaskara the Mink, and has been fighting Eggman ever since. Force wants to save Sonic mostly because he thinks it is the right thing to do, and because Sonic would have done the same for him.

Force looked around at the brighlty lit casino complex around him. He had heard rumors that this place was where Sonic was being held, so Force was very cautious, glancing around every ten seconds or so to see if there was anything dangerous approaching. With its bright, flashing lights and jazz music, the casino didn't seem at all like a prison. However, Sonic had once told him a story about how Tails didn't realize something about an amusement park he visited being evil, so it had happened before. Force carefully searched the area with his neon yellow eyes, trying to spot a hidden doorway or something else that might lead him to Sonic.

 @Segalove: Sure, but you'd need a reason why he would be saving Sonic.

@742: The room you are in now is the main lobby. Advertisments for shows cover the right wall, surrounded in flashing lights to draw attention. There are two staircases on either side of the main desk, and both lead up to the upper balcony. On the first floor there are four doors, two are on the left wall. One has a sign that reads "Slots", and the other reads "Table Games". The third door is behind the main desk, and it has a sign that reads "Employees Only". The final door is for the elevator, and there is a elevator call button next to it. The main desk sits by the back wall of the lobby, and the left side is conected to the wall. The desk has three small touch screen computers angled upward so they can't be seen from the customer side. When you chesk the drawers you find them all almost completely cleaned out. In the very bottom drawer you find three double "A" bateries. The upper balcony has three doors, one is a large set of closed double doors at the very top of the stairs. Over this door is a sign reading "Dinning Room". The other two door are on either end of the balcony, and they have signs representing the men's and women's restrooms. As you examine the ceiling you realize that there are no speakers, so the jazz is either coming from hidden speakers, or coming from another room. Suddenly, coming from the room labeled "Table Games" you hear a voice, "What do you mean the security systems in the lobby are broken?" The voice is recognizably Eggman's. "Sir, your microphone is on", says a robotic voice. "Oh", then there is the click of a microphone turning off.

 What? thought Force to himself. I thought I heard Eggman saying the security systems are broken. That should make my job a whole lot easier. Looking around, he decided that the "Employees Only" door looked most suspicious. Force grabbed the three batteries out of the main desk's drawer and allowed the electromagnetic energy of one of them to phase into his body. His hands pulsed with electricity. The markings on his quills immediately turned from yellow to red... and then back to yellow in about half a second. The energy from one battery was not enough for Force to do anything significant. He absorbed the energy of the other two batteries as well, powering him up enough to create several large cracks and electrical burns in the door. A good, strong kick brought it down entirely, and Force stepped through, not knowing what would come next.

 As you enter you notice that the door didn't have a lock, so you could have walked up and opened the door. The crash of the door activated four robots in the room. It's obvious that they are designed for preforming. They seem look you over, then, all at once, rush over to a storage cabinet and start fumbling with the lock. The room itself is bare, aside from the four robots arguing with eachother. There is a hallway to your left on the far wall. The hall seems darker than the room you are in now.

(Notes: If you try to drain the energy from the preforming robots, it will only work with two of them. The other two are protected from it, and those two will activate the alarms. If you do nothing and wait in the room, they will pull out instruments and start playing. If you leave, they don't do much. Of course, Force doesn't know any of that.)

 What the...? Force thought. Even though they look like they're not designed for battle, why aren't those robots paying any attention to me? You'd think they would be trying to destroy me... I'll deal with them later, if they try to attack. Force noticed a pitch-black hallway on the far side of the room. He tiptoed toward it, trying to prevent the robots from hearing him. Maybe they were hiding Sonic in that hallway. It wouldn't surprise him, since no normal person who didn't know that Sonic was captive would want to go in that hallway.

@742: As you step into the hallway you hear the cabinet the robots we fumbling with open and the clatter of items falling out. Then came acusations; "Look what you did."
"Me? You opened it."
"But you found the key"
"Hey, fellas, he's gone."
"Aw, we havn't gotten to preform in ages."

The hallway is dark, but your eyes quickly adjust. It seems like an empty hallway, but looks can decieve. You notice red lights near the ceiling at regular interavals down the hall, but you can't tell what they are attached to. After a moment, the red lights move and then stop. Sudenly, a door sildes out of the wall and slams shut behind you. One of the robots in the other room says, "Woah, I didn't know there was a door there!"

The lights in the hall flash on and you see that the red lights were part of sucurity cameras, all of which are now pointed at you. A door on the side of the hall opens and a one wheeled, clown themed robot, with a monitor on its chest, rolls out and stop in front of you. "Hey there", it says in a silly voice, "let's watch a show!" The monitor turns on and shows Eggman in his normal attire. "Well, well, what have we here?" He says, leaning forward. "A want-to-be hero, hoping to save his beloved Sonic. Well it won't work!", he shouts, "I've got robots all over this place, and besides, there's only one way in this room, and this complex is a maze." A voice from off-screen shouts, "Let me go Eggman!" It is recognizably Sonic. Eggman turns, "Oh, hush up over there!"
"You won't get away with this!"
"I said shut it!" Eggman slams his hand down on a button and you hear the crackle of electricity, and Sonic screaming. "Anyway", says Eggman, turning back to you, "Have fun getting here" Eggman reaches for the power button and just before it turns off you see a robot rolling behind him holding a tray with a loaf of bread and a glass of water.

The clown-bot speaks, "Wee! That was fun wasn't it!" It begins rollong around in circles with its arms up, then it slams into the wall and shuts down.

(Wee! This is fun! Yay plot development!)

 Well, that was... odd, Force thought to himself. So, Eggman's torturing Sonic. He won't get away with it for much longer if I have anything to say about it...
Force continued down the hallway, even more battle-ready than before. After all, it was the only thing he could do. The door behind him kept him from going back, and there was nothing stopping him from going forward, which, dangerous as it might be, was the only way to save Sonic.

 Big wandered around the Circus area. his dull head was thinking as hard as it cound, which isn't that hard. i wonder where Sonic is? he wandered around, looking in each tent, and calling his name. "Sonic? Sonic, are you in here?" he asked, as he peered into another tent. "where is he?" Big scratched his head. "i want ice cream..." he muttered as he wandered farther.

(question, can Big have Froggy with him?)
