i just wwant to be beautiful for this one month
"Here, come see this. It'll take your mind off the raid." Sylver went back to his canvas and sat down. Kassandra frowned.

"Easy for you to say. It isn't your lifestyle at risk. Actually, it is." She checked her phone again. No messages.

He paused, brush on the canvas. "I'm not naive, Kass. No matter what I pretend. There's just not a lot I can do at the moment. You've sent the cavalry out, now we just have to see how many horses are dead."

"Yes..." If a proper report hadn't been filed yet, it meant something had gone horribly wrong. She was likely to have to explain the failure to her one and only superior. They already believed she was too young, even after her organized raid on Epsilon. She couldn't afford mistakes the others freely decided to make.

Just because she had power didn't mean it should be flaunted.
i'm actually really sorry bout this

The Commissioner pulled out his PDA as Araghast's golem left, and dialed in Kassandra's number within a few seconds. When she would pick up, he would alert her with some recent news. "The operation at the warehouse was a complete and total success, Primarch and the surviving Rassalhague will be returning within the next few minutes. And we have already destroyed the foundations of whatever was left of the Resistance base."

Adam continued after a brief but obvious pause "As for the Chief Superintendent's group, they are having trouble with a certain pest right now..."

-

The Chief Superintendent scanned the room with his assault rifle, keeping his eyes forward and clear. Checking for anything standing out of the ordinary, besides the flare that went up earlier from inside this place.

He wanted the bastard's head... AND his crushed balls before he would be done with him, the COPS had a particular... strange taste for suffering. Taking particular enjoyment in screwing up one's testes. The other Cops were also busy scanning the rest of the place. They found it strange how one person could be so troublesome to an entire DETACHMENT of Cops.

"Find this fucking bastard." said one of the black armoured pseudo-SWAT officers over the radio, "Roger that, over." responded another in agreement.

"I know this bastard is here, a motherfucking flare fucking took off from this goddamn motherfucking place!" the Chief sweared, emphasizing heavily the 'fuck'.

Chaos Emerald
Dark Rebel Rising

A myth, some called it, that a person would rise up against the Board and break them down. its said that this person would open the world to all, and break through the heavens in order to set the world free from the grasp the Board has upon. They called this tail the Dark Rebel Rising. Its said that once this myth would take place, chaos will follow quickly... It was odd, because this myth, this long and forgotten bed time story was told a member of the Board, told in a manner that would hint towards the young lad, that he would be this great person to fulfill this myth. At least, this young boy took in this myth that way, when his father was trying to warn him of such a thing. This boy soon became a rebel to the Board, a hates everything they stand for. Yet, he is the Heir of the Board. And yet, he runs for life daily.

While chaos was set in motion within a certain warehouse, the authorities would be alerted by another event, another crime. However, this event would be rushed to be reported to Kassandra Fields, but first it would reach the commissioner before reaching Kassandra. Vinsoon Kindon, a man wanted by the Board, a man hunted by the Board in secret, manages to make his presences known within this city. Thanks to a bunch of thugs who thought they could hold Vinsoon ransom and obtain a ton of money from the Board. Sadly to say, none of them made it out alive. And the only evidence that Vinsoon was their killer, would be the small wanted poster that laid on the table of the crime scene. While a battle rages on elsewhere within this city, the dark rebel awakes...

Ropes, wood, pavement, these three things informed Vin that he was tied up and somewhere within a building. He didn't need to open his eyes in order to know this. He guessed it was an old and run down car shop garage. To which, when he opened his eyes, he found out he was right. As soon as his eyes opened a rush of information surged into his brain, causing him to jerk his head back as he closed his eyes tightly to stop the continuous flow of information rushing into his brain. He grunted from the slight pain as he moved a bit in the chair he was tied up to. This alerted the five guys that were playing a game of poker around a table.

"Heh, so the famous Vinsoon awakes. You were out for a while there pal." One of the thugs informed Vin. The others simply looked once at him and continued their game.

"Boy are you gonna make us rich. Sorry for the long wait though, we have to wait for our boss to show up. Said something about a warehouse being attack or something. He should be here shortly." The thug told him, seemly to want to talk to Vin as he continued to play the card game. Vin looked towards them with his eyes closed, knowing he couldn't open his eyes and stare at them without his sunglasses on. He struggled to move his hand up and managed to position his hand over his face. He used his fingers to form a slight crack so his eye can peer through. Once his eyes opened he was able to take in the information around him slowly, allowing the Constant flow of information to ease its way into his brain. This still caused a bit of discomfort, more so in his wrist and arm since the ropes around him was blocking most of his movements.

"Speak of the devil... Yo, boss-man, we got the guy ya wanted." Vin shifted his eyes towards this 'boos-man' person. He quickly picked up particles and other substances on the guy that told a lot of where he was. There was a fight apparently, and COPS were there.

"So, this is him huh." The boss-man states as he walked to the five guys with another 'henchmen' at his side.

"I strongly recommend letting me go." Vin spoke out, lowering his hand as he sat back and closed his eyes. The thugs looked at Vin oddly, some thinking he was just trying to be tough.

"And why is that? You gonna do something to us? I mean, if that was the case then how did my men managed to capture you in the fi-"

"I'm seriously not in the mood for games right now... I'm not going to the Board, and I'm not going to be used by punks like you. I have a headache, and I'm pretty much pissed off all together... So let me go, before I open my eyes." It was odd that Vin would threaten them, even more so give them a chance to release him before he did something.

"Cut the crap, you're not the hot shot you think you are. You're just some punk who ran away from home and-"

"The bounty is dead or alive... They want me dead more than alive. But of course, low lives like you wouldn't know that... Times up." Suddenly, Vin flung open his eyes and peered deep into the boss-man's soul with his gold eyes...

Moments later, blood dripped from his black and gold cutlass. The boss-man was the only one alive with blood spatter on his face and cloths. His shocked expression stunned his entire body from moving or even thinking. Vin was panting only a few feet away from the boss-man with the tip of his blade pointing at the thug's neck. His hand covered his face as his heavy breathing settles down as the pain slowly faded.

"By gods... W-what the hell are you!?" The boss-man spat out, slowly regaining himself but still overall shocked. All six of his men were dead, sliced up and bleeding out on the floor. Vin ignored the guy as he calmed himself down and walked over to the table with his eyes closed. He reached down and picked up his sunglasses, knowing exactly where they were without opening his eyes. Once they were on he opened his eyes and looked around for a bit. He then grabbed the handgun that was left on the table and slid it off the table as he grasped it within his hand. He aimed it at the boss-man which forced the thug to place his hand on his own gun.

"The Dark Rebel... Tell that to whomever finds you... Thats only if you survive." Upon hearing that Vin was going to shoot him, the boss-man pulled out his gun and fired. However, two shots rang out, causing the thug to flop onto his back as the bullet coursed through his body. Vin was also on the ground, however he was on his side as if he dodged the bullet.

"Damn it... I missed his heart..." Vin tells himself as he sat up and looked at his left arm. The bullet skinned him and nearly took a good chuck of meat from his arm. Vin knew that if the bullet would have completed missed his arm, then his bullet would have pierced through the guy's heart. Instead, the guy was alive but bleeding badly. Sirens were closing in, which was expected since these thugs thought they could throw around Vinsoon's name and expect the Board to not take an aggressive action. Of course, tons of people have stated that they have captured Vinsoon and want their reward. Never have they held him for ransom, so this was a huge alert to the authorities. Once they arrived Vinsoon was long gone, leaving the gun he fired behind and the blood mess he made. This is our the commissioner would be informed that Vinsoon made his appearance within this city. This is how the myth of the dark rebel will be reborn, by the testimony of the thug that Vin left alive...

The golem Araghast sent finished its discussion with the Commissioner vanished in a flash of lightning, just seconds later after the golem disappeared and he finished his message to Kassandra. An old man rolled into the room on a wheel-chair. The Commissioner rose from his seat and saluted to the worn man. This man was one of the previous Chairmen of the Board prior to being removed years ago. He is now a hundred and thirty-seven years old and is on his last legs. Barely managing to stay alive that is with heavy technological advancements, he no longer was a member of the Board but he still had a high rank within the government. Adam then sat down in his chair as he waited for the old ex-Chairmen to speak. "Mister Emmanuel, what owes me the presense of one of the former members of the Board?" Emmanuel rose his shaking hand slowly from the controls of his wheelchair and rested it away from the control rod. He spoke in a dry old tone. "Are you... familiar... with the... 'Dark ...Rebel ...Rising'?" The Commissioner curiously rose his eyebrow and spoke in response. "I have heard of him, I believe his name was Vinsoon... of the Kindon lineage. He and Kassandra of the Fields lineage were both Presidental hiers of the Board up until he had murdered his own parents whom you were close friends with. Am I right, Emmanuel... sir?"

"Yes... it was ashame... but... I have news that concerns the topic... at hand."

"And that would be, sir?" The Commissioner again rose his eyebrow, his face still clearly visible. Having forgotten that he had his mask off. His scars brightened up strangely upon responded as if his scars were also curious about the news. "Vinsoon is alive... and he is on the move... he had just recently killed... several fools that thought could contain... him."

"Figures, I'd doubt that a killer of that skill such as himself would die in the lower levels of the City so easily... I will take care of this situation as soon as I am able. I just have to take care of some vermin first." growled the Commissioner as he finished his sentence. Emmanuel gave a wrinkled smile in response to Adam. "I heard... you are... almost finished cleaning... up the Resistance forces.... Am I... right?"

"I am still curious on why these rebels have given you trouble for so long, yet I have almost wiped them out in a single year." Adam responded. "The... previous... Commissioners... we're too... concerned bathing in... the power and respect they earned... to deal with any real... problems to the City... These 'Terrorists' would have... been... wiped... out long ago... if the... other Commissioners took their... jobs seriously rather than play... king... You are the first Commissioner in a... thousand years to actually... do anything..."

"And to believe you hired those fools while these vermin ran about." He rose from his chair and looked out the window... watching down at the streets below as cars flew about in the air. And the people of the City living about their daily lives. He began coughing and realized he left his mask off longer than usual and began hooking it back up to his head. "I would also know that with all the medical advances done in the past two thousand years... Why is it that you cannot cure me of this damn terminal illness?"

"Bah... you question... too much... besides. We still... haven't found a way to cure... this advanced form of... this... yet-to-be-identified lung disease yet... Adam." said Emmanuel in an annoyed tone and began coughing as well. "I am sorry if I annoyed you, sir. That was just my mind speaking out loud like it usually does."

"It is nothing... and please, stop calling me... sir... I am... not a member of the Board anymore..." Emmanuel asked. "Nonsense. You are and always shall be a member of the Board as any other before and after them. My loyalites with you just as they are with every other member of the Board."

"That... is... mighty kind of you... Commissioner Adam... but I must take my leave..." Emmanuel rose his shaky hand once more and grabbed the stick that controls his wheel-chair and began rolling out of the chamber. "It was a pleasure meeting with you, Mister Emmanuel. Now I have a few calls to make." He began dialing in Kassandra's number on his PDA once more. "I have new information concerning an old friend of yours... specifically by the name of Vinsoon."

The Resistance had recently arrived in the abandoned subsector of the City, which was once at one point in the past called rather decently populated St. Petersburg before the Collapse. Dyreson's forces quickly left what was left of the trucks and began setting themselves up and destroyed any and all of the radios, headsets, and other forms of communication with the Resistance or they would risk being found by the Commissioner's forces. Carie Dyreson was clearly pissed right now, she left her truck with her overcoat hanging over her shoulders wide open and began flowing like a cape. Cortez hopped out alongside her bearing his black trenchcoat and sunglasses as usual. "Was the abandoned subsector really a good idea? It's cold up here."

"It's the only damn place they wouldn't think about looking for any of us, we can hide out here for now. Build up our forces, regroup with other surviving groups around the City before they can be picked off and then hopefully build up enough of a force to go toe-to-toe with those fuckers standing high and mighty on their goddamn golden ass throne." swore Commander Dyreson as Griffon jumped out of the back of the old truck, his orange Renegade armor shining brightly in the frozen over subsector. Griffon asked "Why was this place abandoned?"

"Dunno, theres lots of rumors about why that is being shared around the City. Some believe aliens live here and experiment on people here, others believe Lusus may live here, or it monsters worse than those mutants exist here..."

"Or it could be just because it's so 'fucking' cold up here."

"That could also be it too... but still, there could be other reasons besides that on why this subsector has been abandoned for nearly a thousand years." responded Cortez. "Are you two ladies done gossping about silly stories with each other?" Carie demanded. "Uh, yes. Ma'am!"

"Good, we have lots of work to do to get this place up to working condition." the Commander said before going inside to the building but not before proclaiming out loud to Griffon and Cortez. "It's fucking cold."
