I don't know if it's because there's only one in town or not, but whenever we would go, the lines were out the door and wrapping around the building. I mean the wait is normally not terrible, but there's always a lot of people. We usually wait last minute to get some.

Damn man, think about the brain freeze! I'd so get a part of that if we had a BR around here. All we have are a few local joints and a Toft's. Then again, I can beat that anyways. You can get ice cream for 25 cents a cup here at Terra State.

Here where I am there are 5 that are within driving distance.. 4 along pretty much the same trek of road, our crowds get pretty spread out. I just figure that there's no way it could be as bad as a Denny's FREE event. @Cy - Is that a FAT JOKE!? >:c

Apparently there is a line out the door and around the complex that wraps back to the door... Who knew people wanted ice cream that much. :B I'm not complaining though... this ice cream from the drug store is just as good. Edited by SuperShadowgal, Apr 27 2011, 08:29 PM.

I went to two stores with a couple friends, getting 6 scoops total.. Chocolate Peanut Butter, Chocolate Almond, and Nutty Coconut combo each time. <3 And later we found a store that didn't impose the scoop limit.. we actually were able to get enough to keep here for as long as we don't eat it all. And oh BAW... I think people overthink the fat stuff too much, moderation is the key to maintaining any stable weight and one day of having a lil ice cream won't hurt... Not to insult or anything but it's really nothing to worry over.

A thin person thinks nothing of weight, average and overweight people are more concerned. I'm average.. not super thin, not heavy.. It's not rocket science, a little ice cream isn't going to suddenly make someone gain a noticeable amount of weight.. you cannot gain more weight/mass than what you actually consume and then DONT WORK OFF.. so even without doing any work at all (and eating burns a small amount of fat/calories on its own because it's a motor function) getting 3 scoops of ice cream isn't even going to be able to gain you a pound.. not even half a pound... A slow metabolism just means food works off slower, it doesn't change the gain one would have... so again I say for anyone with any sort of metabolic state.. moderation is the ultimate key to controlling your weight.. you can still eat all the stuff you like, just don't gorge yourself with the stuff.. I used to drink like 4 cups of milk a day, now I stick to about 1-2.. I still eat sweets, but more sparsely.. I haven't even considered going on a rabbit diet or anything of the sort, in fact I am still very much carnivore dominant with burgers, steaks, sausages, bacon, and Philly's being what I eat when I go out, and while I'm slightly overweight a little MAYBE.. it's only by like 5 pounds, I haven't gained any weight in months.. what's changed my weight lately has been my workout routine (nothing heavy.. typically I just walk around with leg weights) building some muscle bulk.. and water weight fluctuation which will constantly add or subtract 5 pounds whenever it pleases. xD
