Favorite Wisp Power?; Laser? Drill? Spikes?

Strange, isn't it? Posts: 249 Group: C Rank Guardian Member #11,677 Joined: December 21, 2010	Those of us who have played Colors know there are a lot of different Wisp powers in that game, and even more interesting uses for them. They are often nessecary for passing through the levels, and they're often quite fun to use as well (slicing through enemies like a laser hardly ever gets old). So my question to you is this: Which Wisp power do you feel is most useful? Most fun to use? Most versatile? If you haven't played Colors, but you've heard about it, which is your favorite? My personal favorite is the Red Burst. For those of you who haven't played the DS version, the Burst surrounds you in a fireball that makes you invincible and gives you the ability to jump unusually high and cause massive explosions. It's useful, since its high jump can get you across gaps, and it's powerful due to its ability to cause enemy-destroying explosions. Plus, it's just fun to set everything you touch on fire and race around, burning right through enemies. What about you? Which one do you like best? EDIT: My new favorite wisp is Spikes, for the sheer enjoyability of spindashing and rolling up walls, although Burst comes in a close second. Edited by 742 mph, Jul 26 2011, 08:18 AM.

I still can't use this. Posts: 6,546 Group: Former Monarchs Member #6,722 Joined: March 16, 2008	My favorite one to use is Yellow Drill as it has the most control about it, and it finally makes travelling underwater less of a chore. Green Hover comes in a close second simply because its theme is so damn soothing. <3

I'd say that one would be my favorite. And I knew I wasn't the only one who loved Hover's theme. I would use it even when I didn't have to.

More fun than Purple Frenzy for me. Cyan Laser is a really good one in the right circumstances. I love bouncing all over the place and messing stuff up. And Violet Void was fun. Only reason I didn't mention it was, a) It could be a bit annoying to control at times, especially when you had to go near toxic waste. and b) I don't know about anyone else, but Violet Void scares the shit out of me.

When the heck... My favorites are Rocket and Drill. Rocket for it's killing power in the second airship boss. Drill because its fun to control and it's a great alternative to running through levels it's in.
