Because this is a fan remake, not a fan game, and in the long run making a fan remake is just the same as making a pirated copy of the actual game, it takes money away from the company.
but its not like anyones making any profit out of it.
people arent stupid now a days.
besides, a fan remake is the same thing as a fan game.

my question is what about the SOR homebrews?
its one of the biggest homebrews for dreamcast out there.
theres no telling how many have been made.
why arent they taking them out either?

Otherwise they'd have a go at Sonic Retro by now...
it amazes me that they havent gone at them yet due to them being the home of sonic 2 hd.

@bliz: they are fan remakes, just so you know.
its the same deal as the sor remake just ported to a system.
