Let's think about it for a minute, Many Sonic fan games have been made in the past decade. Sega has never stopped those games, So why is it when this comes around they pull the plug on it?
Because this is a fan remake, not a fan game, and in the long run making a fan remake is just the same as making a pirated copy of the actual game, it takes money away from the company.
