Posts: 6,546 Group: Former Monarchs Member #6,722 Joined: March 16, 2008	OVERVIEW Name: Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games Developer: SEGA Japan Publisher: SEGA (NA, EU), Nintendo (JP) Genre: Sports/Mini-Game Compilation Platforms: Nintendo Wii and Nintendo 3DS THE GAME Gameplay: This new Mario & Sonic installment follows in the vein of its predecessors: Characters from both the Mario and Sonic game franchises compete in in the latest Olympic events. There are over 50 events in all, including the introduction of soccer and equestrian as well as Dream Events wherein there are artistic liberties taken with the locations and parameters of the events. Original Post Lookie what's been found: It's being reported on by TSSZ and subsequently Go-Nintendo, so take it with the appropriate grain of salt, but here's your supposed-placeholder boxart for the third entry to the wildly popular Mario and Sonic series. Launch Base Act 2 Posts: 315 Group: A Rank Guardian Member #10,104 Joined: June 27, 2009	I'm just gonna say this now: Sega should have at least made better use of their time making another sonic and Sega all stars game. They already covered tennis, unless it's golf, you can't get lower then that, and that was really kinda fun. I'm sure the racing did well, I never heard anything bad about it here. Grand Metropolis, I guess we won't have that one in Generations since they're already using it here xD But more seriously, it looks like a good sports game so far.

I agree that there should be more playable characters. Adding the rivals of Winter Games(Rouge, Omega, Jet, Eggman Nega, King Boo, Dry Bones, Dry Bowser and maybe Bullet Bill although I don't see him well as playable unlike the others)as playable characters would be great as well as new ones.
