Posts: 6,546 Group: Former Monarchs Member #6,722 Joined: March 16, 2008	OVERVIEW Name: Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games Developer: SEGA Japan Publisher: SEGA (NA, EU), Nintendo (JP) Genre: Sports/Mini-Game Compilation Platforms: Nintendo Wii and Nintendo 3DS THE GAME Gameplay: This new Mario & Sonic installment follows in the vein of its predecessors: Characters from both the Mario and Sonic game franchises compete in in the latest Olympic events. There are over 50 events in all, including the introduction of soccer and equestrian as well as Dream Events wherein there are artistic liberties taken with the locations and parameters of the events. Original Post Lookie what's been found: It's being reported on by TSSZ and subsequently Go-Nintendo, so take it with the appropriate grain of salt, but here's your supposed-placeholder boxart for the third entry to the wildly popular Mario and Sonic series. Extremely boring. But the Winter Olympics wasn't bad at all. It was pretty fun and had some replay value. I can't say much nor complain since we haven't even gotten some footage. Just lame box art that will most likely change once there's more development. So until we actually get some gameplay or more facts of whats to come, I say we just shut up and wait to see what Sega can pull off in this third installment.
	Where the hell is Final Fantasy X HD?!

And having a storyline able to be present and the Dream Mode allows for even more potential of separating the game from its initial predecessor. You guys are hardly thinking outside the box. xP

I'd like to see support for the MotionPlus (Mine hasn't been used since I got it ). And maybe we'll see more characters. Who knows. Sega and Ninty have surprised us in the past. Maybe we'll get something much more intricate.

Most of my games right now have minigames anyway. I probably will get this mostly cause I like the games they had for the others. And I usually am not too dissapointed with Ninty and Sega games.

People are writing it off because they didn't like the previous games... The ones writing it off have made no claim of it not being better as far as I could tell, they just did not enjoy the earlier games so no matter how much better this one is it is unlikely they will be interested. Do you have any idea how much of a war it would be in the fanbases if they did a adventure game? The inconsistencies and bs they will be calling? I think this is for the best, as gods know that there would be lots of whining(As if there isn't already.) As far as I'm concerned, as long as Rouge and others are finally made official playable characters, I'm fine with this. Yes. I'm that shallow with my expectations. .-.
