Posts: 6,546 Group: Former Monarchs Member #6,722 Joined: March 16, 2008	OVERVIEW Name: Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games Developer: SEGA Japan Publisher: SEGA (NA, EU), Nintendo (JP) Genre: Sports/Mini-Game Compilation Platforms: Nintendo Wii and Nintendo 3DS THE GAME Gameplay: This new Mario & Sonic installment follows in the vein of its predecessors: Characters from both the Mario and Sonic game franchises compete in in the latest Olympic events. There are over 50 events in all, including the introduction of soccer and equestrian as well as Dream Events wherein there are artistic liberties taken with the locations and parameters of the events. Original Post Lookie what's been found: It's being reported on by TSSZ and subsequently Go-Nintendo, so take it with the appropriate grain of salt, but here's your supposed-placeholder boxart for the third entry to the wildly popular Mario and Sonic series. If this is real, I'm wondering what new things (if any) it will be bringing. I mean, winter games added the rest of the sports, but what's another summer going to do? Anyhoo, I have no real opinion on this, hence why I cannot fathom the ire some of you have shown. I haven't played played the winter Olympic, and this game, I will not be getting. This seems to be a franchise what is, going to be around, for a while.
