 "If there are spirits," Ezekial said to Mark, who seemed to be the only one who stayed behind. "I could probably make them visible through that over there." He pointed towards his equipment, which was scattered on the floor.

When he was working, he had managed to cover half of the floor in a complicated series of curved lines. He was preparing something from his manual, hoping it would cause the ghost to enter visibility.

Ezekial went back to work, covering more of the floor in curved lines. "If you're familiar with this pattern," he said to Mark without turning his back, "you can help."

"ok," Mark said, and he joined Ezekial in prepping the floor with the curves. The echidna girl watched them intently. "Now what are they doing?" she wondered. "Will this help me make friends with them?"

 "Different, huh?" Dex laughed a little. "That's a little light on names for me. Usually it's along the lines of 'freak' or 'crazy'. One kid even said I belonged in an asylum." Dex moved on up the stairs, over the balcony, looking over the room bellow. He saw Ezekial go over to his things and pick up chalk. He looked at what he was drawing and noticed it from a book his father had owned. "You wanna stick around for this?" He motioned to the floor bellow.

 "I'm just going to go where you go, if you don't find that too creepy. People call me crazy too." James smiled. "I think we have more in commen then I'd have with them, but I just like having friends. I've been in an asylum. It was boring." As much as James wanted to stay with Ezekial and Mark, he knew he'd have a much better chance at finding answers with Dex. "But maybe we should stay to see what they're up to?" He offered, hoping Dex would say something along the lines of why not.

 "Done!" said Ezekial, drawing the final line. Smiling, he stood back to admire his handywork. The entire floor was now covered in curved lines, the very same curved lines from his manual. It seemed that they were done, but Ezekial knew otherwise. He walked to the center of the room to complete the ritual.

"Stand back," he told Mark. After waiting a few seconds for mark to stand back, he placed his hands on the floor and began to chant a strange incomprehensible chant. For a few minutes, nothing seemed to happen.

All at once, the lines on the floor began to glow an emerald glow. Their light was intense enough to fill the room. All through this, Ezekial hadn't moved an inch. Then, as soon as it had started, it was over. Breaking from the trance, Ezekial stood up.

"There," he said, stretching his arms, "Now any ghost that comes in here should be visible. I wonder who'll be first..."

 "Woah." Dex looked at the glow emitting from the "And to think I thought my old man was crazy." He looked around for another source of the glowing, a trick of the eye maybe. But as he looked he began to realize more and more that the lines were no trick. *And to think, I thought magic was a myth for fools looking for a quick fortune.* He looked to James. "Are you seeing this?" He gripped his gun tighter.

 "Yeah, and it's amazing!" James was excited now. He wanted to know what the lines did. "Do you have any idea what those mean?" He asked Dex. His eyes sparkled with intrege. Never, in his life, had he ever seen anything so incredible and mysterious. He wanted to know more. Could it help him see ghosts better?

Appearance:White hedgehog with curved up spikes (white because phantom)
Personality:Aal BlackHog wants, is to die and stop being a ghost
Powers :I nkow, I know, no powers, but with BlackHog being a phantom, I thought, why not illusion powers? (this can be disapproven off, I'll not use it then.)
Bio: Slightly agressive, Doesn't trust someone that fast, quite random at times, knows the whole mansion - even the secret rooms.

 James saw something. "Look! A phantom! Dex, do you see it?!" He said excitedly. "This is so cool." He ran down the staircase to the circle. "Hi!" He said to the Phantom. "What's you're name?" James had always wanted to make friends with a phantom, but they always ran away. He hoped this one was different.

 In reaction to the bee, BlackHog drew a sword out of nowhere. "None of your business. I am the phantom, the phantom of this mansion. But be warned, I am not alone, and there are way more agressive ghosts. If you wish to come out alive, then leave now, or your nightmares will come true."  This is the chance Dex had been looking forward to he placed his gun across his arm, using his arm for extra stability. He took precise aim, that was, until James ran by and bumped into him. "Hey-" Dex said as he was knocked into a pillar. He inhaled sharply. Had the ghost seen him? He saw him draw a sword as James approached. No, he hadn't been seen. But he would have to act quick, James was in danger. He quickly pulled a Spirit Bomb out of his pocket, turned the dial in the middle half way, 5 seconds delay. He threw it right toward the center of the circle, under the ghost. "Everyone, close your eyes!" he shouted. He didn't want anyone seeing spots for the next five minutes incase he missed and the ghost came back.
