She was a powerful queen and ruled with all sorts of magic. However, another mage who fought for a king that declared to be a fighter of light, reversed one of her spells and caused for the the entire land to become cursed. The queen died, but she fused all of her powers into her heart, and cast a spell on her heart that would endure and live forever. Your task is to venture into this cursed land and obtain Scarlet's heart. The castle which contains the heart is beyond the barren land and forest filled with evil creatures. Appares to be in his/her late teens/early twenties. Gender: Gender-bender with no set gender. Alternates between genders around every thirty seconds, but can keep one form for a few minutes at a time if necessary. Species: Hedgehog Appearance: http://phoenix-saturn.deviantart.com/art/Ink-the-Hedgehog-134738625 Powers/Abilities: Ink is an extremely powerful mage. However, Ink's particular form of magic cannor take solid forms, and he/she gets a serious boost from his/her staff. Ink's not powerless without the staff, far from it, but without the staff, Ink's magic would require the use of regeants and/or long bouts of incanting. He/she can also levitate. Equipment: -Staff (Picture will follow) - Blue Ring (I'm surprised there isn't a picture with the ring... I'll see if I can find one.)

Not too far from where the aircraft touchdown there was a mall camp site. This camp site was manned by a team from the MCA. They all wore slender clothing and had different head pieces that covered their mouths and noses. The leader of this team, a female jackal, sat on a crate as she waited for Ink to approach the group so she could be filled in and her mission and what exactly awaits for her when venturing through this land. (sorry its short)

Ink was not interested in such mundane things in the first place. It would be completely different in the next hundred years, so why bother? The hedgehog said nothing as the aircraft quickly left the site. Nervous, presumably. Ink's staff tip slashed into the ground as Ink presented herself to the jackal woman. "I presume you are the head of this mission."

She replies as she got off the crate and started to walk slowly through the campsite. "Here, take this." She add, and hands Ink a comm-link and would be placed around her wrist. "You will be doing this mission by your self. Upon completion, or if you simply want to end the mission and wish not to continue, press the green button on the comm-link. If you wish to be extracted quickly, due to certain situations that will not allow you to escape, press the red button. We will arrive to your location as quickly as possible." She tells Ink, then started to point towards a tent so Ink can follow her in. "This is the layout of the land. We've mapped most of it, but the castle itself we have not reached yet. There is a path within the woods that will bring you to the west side of the castle. There, you will see a hidden door that will bring you into one of the castles hidden rooms. We've cleared out that room, thus nothing should be in there. We have beam lights, weapons, and many other things you can pick up on your way out of here." She informs Ink as she pointed to this path she was suppose to take. "If you don't have any questions, take as much items as you need, and then leave as soon as your ready." She adds, then sits on the table and waits for Ink to either leave or ask a bunch of questions.

He did not feel like wasting energy on such a mundane thing as keeping an abnormal appearance. Strange how keeping a set gender, something normal for most beings, was not something Ink could do. And how abnormal it now seemed for the wizard. "Thank you, I have no questions." Ink gave a slight polite bow as was customary for the wizard, then walked towards the tent with the land layout, once again in female form.

She didn't know what to think as she waved her hand dismissively as to say bye to Ink. "...Strange one she... Er he?... Yeah, it's a strange one... It might pull this mission off." She tells her, then heads out of the tent to work on something else. "Til Renno! Reporting for duty sir!" A young female hedge-puma states as she walked up to Ink and saluted. She smiled as she looked at Ink, who was a bit taller then her, which she liked in a 'school-girl-crush' kind of way. "I'll be helping you navigate through the forest and such!" She adds, as to answer any questions of why Til would randomly come up ti Ink. She waited for a reply as she cupped her hands behind her back. Her outfit was similar to the female Jackal Ink just met. It was clear that she was trying to be like her. Or, this slender clothing was part of the teams attire.

He wandered over to a large, possibly scale model of the forest. "So, am I to understand your forces have cleared the forest area, or have you simply scouted it out?" Either way, reagents were probably not necessary. Only in cases of extreme destruction or summonings were they required for Ink now. So, food provisions were probably all that Ink would need. "Your superior mentioned you had cleared one of the castle rooms. Is this accurate?" Ink asked another similar question.

She tells Ink as she starts to think a bit more. "Yes! We cleared out one of the hidden rooms. I was there for it! However, they all died shortly after. I only survived because I'm short... At least thats what Sissy tells me." She tells Ink as she smiles, referring to the jackal as Sissy of course. "I don't know if the room is still cleared or not. We might have to do some more fighting!" She says excitingly as she pushed up and down on her toes.

He stayed male for a moment more before allowing the inevitable gender switch, which happened while walking towards the provisions area and taking note of some of the food there before taking it and a bag to store it in. The bag was cumbersome. Ink tested its weight and quickly drew a spiral on the ground with the bladed end on her staff. She tapped the spiral with the staff and muttered a few words. The spiral glowed a purple colour and began to spin. Without further ado, she dropped the bag into the spiral and watched it vanish. The spiral disappeared. Satisfied, but not showing it, she grabbed an apple from the provisions and bit into it with a loud crunch.

Til states as she cupped her hands in front of her and slightly jumped up and down, watching all that Ink was doing, even the gender change was cool to her. "How do you do that!? Its so cool! Can you teach me please?" She asked, dancing around her as she jumped with excitement, only to then lead the way towards the barren land which they had to cross in order to reach the forest.

She had never experienced anyone so exited about her magics, especially her gender change which was usually incomprehensible to most people. "The storage spell is fairly simple. Perhaps I could teach you along the way." It depended whether Til possessed the innate talent. If not, she'd require reagents that Ink had not bothered to bring. All for a fairly simple spell. However, many people had the talent. More than most believed. The land seemed indifferent to their presence. To any presence, really. A full scale battle could take place here, and the land would show no indication of such in a fairly short time. Ink hoped she would not live as long as this land remained here.
