Personality: Selim is a kind and quiet boy who mostly keeps to himself but is never afraid to stand up to others, for others if the situation needs it. Being home-schooled since birth in a large family estate with limited social interaction, Selim tends to be shy around kids of his own age and will always wait for the other to be the one to initiate a conversation but if the other does initiate the said conversation, Selim can and will talk actively with confidence. Due to the lack of social activity in his childhood, Selim wishes to see more of the world and the people living inside of it even if he is aware of the negatives that he might face. From an adult's perspective, he can be defined as a good-natured and well-raised rich boy. He is quite the glutton so to speak. Though he will open hostility, Selim can be quite a serious and determined fighter if provoked or threatened. In a fight, his main objective is to disarm his opponents or knock them out cold, only very rarely will he decide to wound an opponent and will only do so if there is no other alternatives. Push him too far however and he can be quite unforgiving. Hobbies/Talents: He enjoys cooking in his free time, reading books, playing video games, interacting with other kids and eating. Likes: Strawberry-flavored food, Chocolate-flavored food, ice cream, food, fried chicken, apple-pie, friendly figures, travelling. Dislikes: Food with bad smell, people who harm his friends, no vacancies, full reservations, hunger Items: He has a pouch full of money, his spear "Discordia". Vehicles: None Trivia: Though he may never admit it, Selim is actually a good singer. Family: Selim Cerunnos Ashford II(Father), Neria Clovi Ashford(Mother, Deceased) Elkader Deru Ashford(Older Brother), Madame Erisom(Crazy Aunt who showers him with motherly love) Close Friends: Balder(His cook), Mei Lin(His maid), Finny (his gardener), Takana (the steward of the house), Gian (his appointed bodyguard), Heatcliff (the poor excuse for a butler) Other Friends: None as of yet Romantic Interest: None as of yet, wishes to find one Rivals: Elkader Deru Ashford Enemies: "If it's pointing a weapon at me, it's an enemy" Skills: "Ansturm". Selim's power is to store energy into an attack via 'charging', turning a seemingly weak punch into something more powerful. The longer he 'charges', the more powerful the attack can be. Techniques: Horizon Destroyer - Selim concentrates and charges up by assuming a throwing position with Discordia, once he thinks that he's stored enough energy, Selim will throw Discordia with all his might, depending on the energy that was stored within the attack, Discordia can either soar through the air at high speeds and hit its target, promising severe damage or it can hit the ground instead and create a massive shockwave that will send his opponents off their feet, stunning them and preventing bloodshed. Blazing Fist - By reversing the effect of "Ansturm" Selim's punches can move at twice the speed and only half the force, making it ideal for disarming or incapacitating an enemy through the sheer number of attacks with minimal damage. Blazing Fist (Ver. Cruel)- The true calling of Blazing Fist, while this is a slower version, Selim's punches will definitely be stronger in terms of force, this technique will be used by Selim against those who are in need to be repaid by their equal cruelty in the form of physical violence. The Unforgiving Will - By using his blood as a catalyst, Selim can form weapons or projectiles that has decent durability depending on the amount of blood used. Note that Unforgiving Will will only activate if the blood used by Selim is his own and comes from an artery. Critical Strike - By offering some of his artery blood to the guardian deity that resides within Discordia, Selim gains access to the ultimate form of execution. By taking up the stance of "Horizon Destroyer", Selim's body glows in a sickly deep red manner as Discordia pulsates dangerously in his grip. Once enough energy is stored within Discordia, Selim throws the weapon with all his might which would home on his target. Upon striking the opponent, Discordia's blade will open up and reveal seven tips that would each reveal seven barbs, ensuring the opponent's death. By using this technique however, Selim will lose access to Ansturm for seven days and his lifespan will be reduced by a tenth. As such, Critical Strike is only to be used as a true last resort as he will die if he uses the technique for more than nine times. Using Critical Strike even for the first time is equally dangerous as Selim will need to inflict a deep wound to offer the arterial blood needed for the Deity to hear his request, leaving Selim prone to die by severe blood loss. Strengths: Selim, though young, is an expert at spear-based fighting, he has great reflexes and is quite nimble, making him quite the switch-hitter of a party should he be invited to be one. Weaknesses: 'Charging' leaves him vulnerable as he has to concentrate and pause for a few seconds, this will put him at an disadvantage if Selim is facing multiple opponents surrounding him or if his opponents are too fast for him to charge up an attack, leaving him to depend on his own physical power and wits. Selim's fighting style is not suited for cramped spaces. Weapons: Discordia - A magical spear forged by Selim's very mother which holds surmountable power, made for him as his birthright and the only gift that he ever received from the dead parent. Discordia is is shown to be made of a single piece of blood-red crystal with black markings on the blade although the nature of Discordia when held and clashed against mimics that of a tough metal weapon. Selim believes that there is something living inside of the weapon itself. History: Selim is born from a rich joined family of nobles whose family members excel either in the arts or in warfare with his father coming from the side of famous artisans while his mother's was a group of the highly feared Bloodmages. Prior to his birth however, his mother's health had began to fail and thus she was advised by the healers to abort the child if she had any intentions of extending her life. Neria chose the latter despite the pleas of her first born, saying that even though her life is extended, the life of the newborn will exceed hers in many ways. And thus, at the cost of her life, Selim was born. Taking his wife's last wishes and hopes, Selim II began to raise his son as he would normally do without holding him responsible for the untimely death of his wife teaching him the advanced forms of Spear-fighting while sharing the secrets of the weapons that are specially made by his mother. Elkader however, held his younger sibling responsible for the death of his beloved mother and went on to shun him through the years. Selim grew up through the years as a socially awkward boy as Elkader refused to interact with him and their father forbids them to mingle with the commoners of their world as their family is built through royalty, nobility and 'pureness' and mingling with the common folk is considered to be the filthiest of all acts. Even so, this only made Selim more curious about the common folk and began to read about them through books and other sources of information, even to go as far as to mingle with their servants as they are not considered common folk by their family. Of all their employees, Selim was closest to their cook who smokes in the kitchen and frequently burns food that are made 'on the spot', the clumsy maid of the house, the gardener with inhuman strength, the bodyguard with an overly protective attitude, the steward of the house who loves to drink tea, the poor excuse for a butler and his aunt who acts like an overly protective(And active) mother. It is through them that Selim gains knowledge of the outside world such as paying for food before you eat them rather than eating them on the spot without paying first(This is because Selim is never taken outside the estate to get groceries and thus has never seen an actual transaction before). Their efforts helped in Selim's development in his views about the commoners, breaking the indoctrination that his father wanted to impose on him that only the nobles are worthy of their attention or presence. During this duration was when Elkader began to plot for Selim's 'disappearance' as he couldn't bring himself to kill the young one due to Selim having their mother's eyes. When he presented Selim with an act of forgiveness and the wish to make up for the years that he shunned him, Selim fell for Elkader's trap and was led to a massive magical array where was then transported half the world away. Even though the taste of betrayal was sour in his mouth, Selim instead took this a chance to travel the world and return only when he proves to Elkader that he will not submit to the fate that the other had imposed on him and will show that he doesn't need the money of his family nor abusing the title or fame that their sphere of influence have to acquire friends. Strange, isn't it? Posts: 249 Group: C Rank Guardian Member #11,677 Joined: December 21, 2010	Great character, but you might want to go into more detail about how much blood he has to use for his weapons creation (if you don't want him to seem overpowered, make him have to use a lot), and perhaps elaborate a bit more on his appearace. The personality, history, and abilities are all well thought-out. Nice job.

The amount of blood is equal to the mass the weapon needs as it will be made purely out of the liquid, meaning for a knife that has 50 grams of mass, Selim will have to use 50 grams of arterial blood, which is deadly if he wants to make a REAL weapon such as a sword or a spear. Note that he doesn't have regeneration powers or anything to make up for subsequent usage of the weapon creation as he'll have to recover his blood naturally.

This sure as hell isn't the Selim I know, but I like it! Just a note: in the History, you were calling Selim's father Selim II, though the character bio name is Selim II. Might wanna fix that. xD
